While Bai Yinyin was fuming, Leng Pan and her family went back into the Lu apartnt. The atmosphere there was calm after the tension brought by the confrontation with Bai Yinyin.
Leng Pan sat beside Lu Zhen on the couch, her head resting against his shoulder.
After her confrontation with Bai Yinyin, she felt relieved and a sense of clarity followed.
Just as Uncle Li was pouring celebratory tea and Lu Tao was bragging about his tactical genius in ’emotional warfare,’ a subtle vibration ca from Leng Pan’s wrist.
Even though the jade bangle had disappeared when it recognized her as its master and only a small mole remained, it seed that its reaction can still be felt.
Leng Pan glanced at Lu Zhen, who imdiately noticed the small shift in her posture.
"What is it Baby?" he whispered under his breath, his voice barely audible to the others.
"Sothing happened. Let’s go through our place first." Leng Pan replied while standing up and heading towards the door.
"We need so air." Lu Zhen ca up with an excuse as he followed his wife out.
The people left in the living room didn’t say anything as they had noticed how Leng Pan left as if sothing urgent had happened.
However, if the couple didn’t want to talk about it, they couldn’t force them.
Moreover, one could tell that it’s a sensitive topic for them to need to keep it from their family.
Lu Zhen followed his wife without a word, both of them stepping out onto the quiet corridor, then entered their shared apartnt.
"Baby, what just happened?" Lu Zhen asked as soon as they were in their territory.
However, Leng Pan was still worried about soone listening to their conversation whether intentionally or unintentionally and decided to take both of them into the space.
As soon as they arrived in the living room within the space, Leng Pan answered Lu Zhen’s question.
"Sothing happened with the jade bangle. For so reason, it reacted without doing anything." This was the first ti sothing like that had happened, which was why Leng Pan had panicked.
She thought that sothing had gone wrong.
"Do you know what happened?" Lu Zhen asked.
"I don’t, let’s go outside and check how the space looks." Leng Pan replied while walking towards the door of the high-tech mansion.

For instance, the patch of grass on the garden now resembled real grass with a green dark color.
The suns in the sky was no longer as crimson as before, but the color has faded to almost resemble a moon.
So lush trees had also appeared a little further from the mansion and amidst the trees was a fog that seed to be hiding secrets.
There was a shadow inside the fog that looked like a human.
Suddenly, a voice ca from the shadow, "Commander Leng, you have begun your awakening. The process might be a little longer or shorter depending on your abilities.
Also, this space you have activated is more than just a place to store weather. It is precious, guard it. It connects the threads of fate, but unfortunately, when that happens, others will notice as well."
Hearing this explanation, both Leng Pan and Lu Zhen were surprised.
"Who are you?" Leng Pan asked.
"No one important." The figure in the fog replied.
"Then why did the bangle react that way now? Why not before?"
"Because there are people who have started hunting unique artifacts like this bangle.
There are not many, but people are starting to rember things they should not.
You have to be more careful. Before you rember everything, do not expose yourself." The voice coming from the fog instructed.
"Okay, we will be more careful then. Don’t worry." Leng Pan promised because she could tell that the figure in the fog ant well.
"Three seas remain in the world. If they fall into the wrong hands, this world will not just be rewritten again. It might end completely, and the next ti, you might not awaken at all."
"Then tell what to do." Leng Pan said with her fists clenched.
However, both the fog and the figure inside it faded until it disappeared without another word.
After the fog faded and the space returned to its tranquility, Leng Pan and Lu Zhen looked at each other for a long ti before going back into the mansion.
Sitting in the living room, they both had different thoughts in their heads but we’re worrying about the sa thing.
"Do you think so of the people looking for the three so-called seals include the group sent by the domineering commander of the Dominion squad?" Leng Pan broke the silence first and asked Lu Zhen this question.
"It is possible. From how that person had been looking for that teorite like crazy, it seed that they knew sothing that others didn’t.
He should be one of those individuals the voice said were rembering things they shouldn’t." Lu Zhen replied to his wife while thinking of the best way to protect her.
He felt that she might be in danger since that voice decided to warn them now.
He didn’t believe in coincidences and felt that there must be a reason for that warning to co now.
They had to hurry up to that lab and find out what was inside. He had a feeling that one of the seals ntioned might have sothing to do with the lab.
"We should urge Lu Tao to make those co quickly.
It seems like we need to leave soon. We also have to make sure that we can co back before the expected extre cold arrives." Lu Zhen advised and Leng Pan felt that it made sense.
"Alright then. Let’s go have dinner with the rest so that they don’t worry." Leng Pan agreed and the two left the space and appeared in their apartnt.
The family sat down for dinner and the other mbers could feel that sothing was different with the two lovers.
They understood the two and knew that sothing that wasn’t convenient to say might have happened.
However, since they felt that talking about it was not okay, then the others remained silent as if clueless.
However, both Leng Pan and Lu Zhen knew that their family mbers were smart and must have realized sothing.
Nonetheless, now more than ever they couldn’t talk about it. They didn’t know if so of the people who had rembered so things or were looking for things were already nearby.
"How did your day go?" Mother Lu asked once they were done with dinner and sat in the living room to drink tea.
"It was fun. We went to the amusent park. The only difference was that it was not crowded, filled with the sll of a mixture of sweat, perfus, and other unique scents that make the atmosphere chaotic." Leng Pan replied with a smile on her face.
She was happy about her date that day. Not even the events of that evening could dampen that mory.
Moreover, she and Lu Zhen had co completely clean and now held absolutely no secrets at all.
They could now bare their thoughts to each other at any ti without worrying about slipping and saying sothing one should not.
"That’s good if you enjoyed it. Were there no zombies there? I am starting to think that this world no longer belongs to humans.
The population of zombies is sohow becoming larger." Li Yunjia asked about the situation at the park but also expressed her concern about the current world.
"There weren’t many zombies. But it is indeed true that at the mont it seems that you et more zombies than humans.

Especially after what that voice in the space had said, she didn’t believe that there was not more to the apocalypse than it seed on the surface.
However, she couldn’t exactly tell her thoughts in public because she was worried about being heard and given trouble if so governnt organization heard them.
"Lu Tao, have you made any progress with those communication devices?" Leng Pan thought of what Lu Zhen had said and asked.
"Yes, they will be done in the next two days. Don’t worry about it, sister-in-law." Lu Tao was proud once it ca to his skills.
His skills keep improving with every increase in his superpowers. He kept wondering how hacking and developnt skills were related to his super vision and super hearing. But he hadn’t been able to understand. However, he didn’t think it mattered at all. As long as he had the skills.
