The place suddenly went very quiet. Everyone had witnessed what happened and no one wanted to provoke that woman. She was definitely not to be ssed with.

"Even though she is in a different body and a different era, her personality has not changed at all. She’s as ruthless as ever when she cos across scumbags." The girl in Sonny’s group muttered under her breath to which the man dressed like so celebrity standing next to her nodded.

"She’s as fierce as ever. I wonder what those idiots did to make her so pissed." The man wondered out loud.

The people around them heard him and also had the sa question in their minds.

The people who had bled almost all their blood on the ground were still hanging on to their last breath. Nobody wanted to die, so they still had so hope that soone would co and save them.

That was why they had not succumbed even though it was obvious at this point that they couldn’t live any longer.

Just as Leng Pan raised her hand to turn the mist she produced into extrely hot mist and burn them into evaporation, a shout ca from a distance away.

"Stop!" It was a shout that also carried authority. One could tell that the person who shouted had both authority and training.

Leng Pan turned to look at the direction the voice ca from and saw a few soldiers coming towards her.

There were five n and one woman, all dressed in military uniforms. Leng Pan didn’t know any of them, but she knew that she wouldn’t stop killing those losers just because soldiers showed up.

This wasn’t the peaceful era where cris could be punished by law. Now, only the law of the jungle prevailed and the soldiers should already know that.

"You shouldn’t kill people indiscriminately." A male soldier walked up to the people on the ground and looked at them before raising his head and saying those words to Leng Pan.

Leng laughed sarcastically when she heard that.

"Maybe you shouldn’t defend people indiscriminately. Killing these scum is doing humanity a favor." Leng Pan didn’t want to argue with them but she wouldn’t let them label her as so unreasonable witch who killed without consideration.

"No matter what they have done, the population of humans is already very low, killing fellow humans will only make that situation worse." The leader soldier reasoned.

Leng Pan understood this thought and if these people hadn’t crossed her bottom line, she wouldn’t have bothered with them.

"Do you even know why I have done this to them? Why I am getting rid of them?" Leng Pan asked while looking at that leader with disdain.

The other soldiers, seeing how their leader was treated having followed him for years, felt indignant for him. No one has ever disrespected him that way.

However, the leader wasn’t very angry. He thought that at least Leng Pan didn’t just ignore them and continue with her earlier plans.

If they could talk her into abandoning that plan then maybe these people could be saved.

"I don’t know what they did but I believe it isn’t as bad as reducing the human population further." The leader said to Leng Pan with confidence.

"Where do you get that mysterious confidence from? I can assure you that if these people remain alive, then the human population will lose even more humans." Leng Pan retorted to the leader as soon as she heard his statent.

The people around them were surprised to hear such a declaration. What did she an by keeping them alive will cause more losses to humanity?

"What do you an?" One of the female soldiers asked with so curiosity and scrutiny.

She hadn’t seen anyone who didn’t have so fear in them when eting soldiers holding guns at close proximity.

But this girl didn’t seem to take them seriously at all. In fact, it looked like she didn’t take anyone there seriously.

"They are not even a group of ten people, but if they are left to live, the people they will kill would probably be many tis that number." Leng Pan said the leader once more.

"Why are you saying sothing like that, it’s like you can tell the future or sothing. Please don’t make our job more difficult." Another soldier said.

"How many young girls do you think they have killed or ruined? Can you ask yourself that question before pretending to be righteous?

These people don’t even show an ounce of rcy when they humiliate, torture, and kill fellow humans. And these are the kind of people you are protecting because you think dying would reduce the human population?

You might be saving more people instead." Leng Pan reprimanded the soldiers and raised her hand to summon the water ability and kill those people.

If she couldn’t get rid of them with the hot mist, she could simply drown them to death.

"What did you say?" The female soldier asked in surprise.

The people around them were also surprised. They had not expected to hear such gossip. It looked like things weren’t as simple as they looked.

"I was their next target, but they picked the wrong one. And no matter what anyone says, I won’t let such cancer continue to fester in the current situation.

There are no laws to restrain such people. So, they will continue to do evil. I have no intention of letting such people continue to live." Leng Pan emphasized her opinion and it was clear to everyone that she wouldn’t give up.

Just as the soldiers were about to continue convincing her, Lu Zhen and his assistant ca back in the truck.

Seeing them approach, she smiled happily. She didn’t have to face these people alone.

Seeing her smile like that, the people around felt srized. They had not expected that the person who had been killing people a mont ago had such a beautiful smile.

The truck ca to a stop and Lu Zhen, having noticed that a situation seed to have occurred around his wife, got out in a hurry.
