After Old man Zhao and his butler left, Lu Zhen opened the computer in the office and turned off all the security caras before starting to pack everything in the office into empty boxes they found in the store room.
Once packed, they were placed in the warehouse inside the space. After that, they collected all the shelves with the books and other materials still arranged inside them and placed them in the space as they were.
It took them an hour to finish packing and storing everything and by the ti they were done, the bookstore was empty.
"Let’s go to the Lu Group warehouse and collect the things you ordered. Then we have to go to my parent’s villa to collect what was delivered today before going ho.
Looks like by the ti we get ho, mom and little brother will be asleep." Leng Pan said as they walked out of the bookstore hand in hand and locked the door.
They didn’t want to attract any unwanted attention, so even though the bookstore was empty, they still locked it.
"It’s alright. Mom will understand that we just got married and need our privacy. We are not going on a honeymoon so it’s understandable if we spend more ti together." Lu Zhen replied.
When he ntioned honeymoon, he felt that he was shortchanging Leng Pan since he won’t be able to take her on a honeymoon like other new brides.
He held her hand with their fingers intertwined and apologized for that.
"Sorry Panpan, I won’t be able to take you on our honeymoon."
"Why would you apologize for that? It’s not your fault that the world is ending. I know that if everything was going well, you would definitely take on a honeymoon.
But with what we are about to face, I won’t fuss over such a trivials. As long as we are together and healthy. That’s all that matters." Leng Pan reassured Lu Zhen when she heard his self-reproach.

Because of the information he was told about the apocalypse, and all the errands they had to run today, Lu Zhen had chosen to drive himself instead of his driver.

He was a businessman and would never do such a loss-making deal. So, there must be sothing bigger at play.
Knowing this, after leaving his boss, he went ho where he lived alone in a three bedroom apartnt in a high-rise building.
His salary is sufficient and he gets regular bonuses, so he lives in a secure and high-end community.
The apartnt is on the fifteenth floor where only four units are on every floor.
The apartnts were not very old and because the owner of the community was selling the apartnts using security as the main attraction feature, the doors were installed with double bullet proof glass and anti-theft locks.
The tal used is also top-notch.
