Lu Zhen sped through the streets like Shade was running on gasoline. The wolf had a speed that was beyond a normal wild animal. It even ran faster than the known king of speed in the wild, a cheetah.

Moreover, it didn’t seem to get tired as it moved non-stop at high speeds.

Lu Zhen looked like a jockey sitting on a horse. Except that instead of grabbing on reins, he was grabbing on the long, thick fur of the wolf near its neck.

The master and beast traveled without stopping for a while until they ca across a small horde of zombies.

There were about a hundred zombies in the horde, a number that cannot stump the forr CEO.

With a wave of his hand flas rose from the bottom of the place where the zombies were standing. Even though there was snow on the ground and more was falling from the sky, the flas couldn’t be extinguished by such snow.

Even Lu Zhen was surprised because he rembered that in his previous life, snow when falling heavily could definitely extinguish his flas.

It looked like because of the special teorite, his flas in this life had mutated further and we’re much stronger than before.

They burned hotter and we’re harder to put out.

Seeing the zombies begin to burn despite the amount of snow falling, Lu Zhen wasn’t in a hurry to leave as he had Shade stop so that he could observe the efficiency of his flas.

Seeing the walking and running zombies turn into ashes within a few minutes, Lu Zhen realized that even though his flas could burn fine in the extrely cold weather, they had slowed down a bit.

If it was before, those zombies would have turned into ashes in less than a minute. However, now they needed up to two minutes to burn completely.

Even though this wasn’t a long ti, in a life-and-death battle, it could change everything.

After the walking corpses had burned completely, Lu Zhen got down from the wolf and walked to where the zombies had been standing to retrieve the crystal cores.

After putting them in the backpack on his back, he climbed on the wolf again and rode away.

After Lu Zhen had disappeared, a young woman dressed in red and not wearing too many layers of clothes as if she couldn’t feel the cold walked out of an alley.

"So, he is also alive in this dinsion." She said lightly.

"Princess, you recognize that person?" Another young woman stood behind her equally dressed lightly and asked.

"I could never forget Commander Lu. One of the best soldiers who opposed us to the end. I had wanted to make him our prince once we took over the earth, but he would rather die than let us survive there.

He is ruthless to his enemies and equally ruthless to himself. I wonder if the results this ti will be different." The young woman in red replied.

"But princess, will our people agree to let you be together with a human? Many see that as a disgrace.

Humans are only fit to serve us, like that fool Commander Qui. I doubt anyone would support your pursuit of a human." The other girl comnted cautiously.

"I know that, but is he a normal human? Look at him, what other human will you find who has the ability to ta such a ferocious mutated wolf?

Even among our people, that is practically impossible. However, we will have to see if this ti he has better vision and will agree to follow this princess." The young lady in red said before turning around and disappearing into the alley.

Even though the two had hidden themselves well, Lu Zhen was very sensitive especially after regaining his mories.

He had discovered them when he was burning those zombies but didn’t take them to heart. Once he was done with his task, he had left.

If he had remained behind or if he had heard the conversation between that master and servant then he would have found out that things had already progressed to a point where action should be taken soon.

The fact that they kept talking about engaging with humans ant that they were not human.

Also, looking at their flawless appearance, they were definitely not zombies. In that case, they could only be the other thing that Leng Pan and other humans had fought before, aliens.

It had been estimated that the aliens would take so ti before coming to earth after the population of humans had reduced significantly and turned into zombies.

This was because the aliens can control the zombies even in their mindless state.

It was a pity that Lu Zhen didn’t get to hear that conversation. However, even without it, he would definitely not let anything happen to the people he cared about.

Without this knowledge, Lu Zhen still went to the place where Ouyang Jin and the other mbers of the ’awakened team’ lived.

They were referred to as the awakened because they had recovered their mories and awakened the abilities of their last life.

When he got to the bottom of the building, it was as if Ouyang Jin had a tracker on Lu Zhen’s body as he appeared at the bottom of the stairs and the Lu Zhen and Shade upstairs.

Everyone was sitting around waiting for news when suddenly Ouyang Jin ca back followed by another man with a powerful aura and a large wolf.

The man was covered completely and it was only after he took off most of the outer layers of his clothes that had been wet by the snow that the people in the living room saw who he was.

It made one wonder how those two aliens in the alley had managed to identify who Lu Zhen was with all those clothes covering him.

If they could tell who he was even in such circumstances, then their perception was scary and humans had to beware of them.
