A long arrow arced through the sky, and a mont later, a notification flashed on the screen.
[Fang Chenyi] knocked down [Undying and Unyielding] with a Crossbow.
"Hiss—I... I... Holy shit! Brother Fang, you’re fucking aweso!"
After handing his phone to Cold Blood, Principal Wang grabbed the spectating phone to watch Fang Chenyi’s screen. He’d seen that last crossbow shot clearly. It had been fired straight up into the air, yet it had sohow ended up knocking down that guy, Undying and Unyielding.
Judging by the arc of the shot alone, the distance had to be more than half the length of P City. What kind of insane prediction skills did it take to pull that off?!
anwhile, Cold Blood quickly popped smoke and rushed onto the rooftop to revive Bufan.
Far away, on the rooftop of a building at the southernmost edge of P City, Undying and Unyielding was lying prone when a crossbow bolt suddenly sprouted from his head. He was completely stunned.
"What the fuck? Who the hell is this ’Fang Chenyi’? He knocked with a crossbow! You guys, be careful and watch our surroundings. A crossbow user can’t be too far away."
As he spoke, Undying and Unyielding started to crawl toward the edge of the roof.
But before he could crawl even two ters, a SWOOSH sound cut through the air, and he instantly turned into a death crate.
[Fang Chenyi] eliminated [Undying and Unyielding] with a Crossbow.
"What the fuck! It’s this ’Fang Chenyi’ again! Where the hell is he hiding?"
In Undying and Unyielding’s studio, he slamd his fist on the gaming desk in front of him. After switching to spectator mode, he snatched the phone right out of his teammate’s hands.
"Here, give your phone. I want to see for myself just where this Fang Chenyi guy is holed up!"

"Brother Fang! I’m in awe! I am truly and completely in awe!"
Principal Wang had seen it even more clearly this ti; the crossbow bolt had landed on a building at the southernmost point of the city! From that incredible distance, the entire process—from Fang Chenyi scoping in, to predicting the trajectory, to pulling the trigger—had taken no more than two seconds.
Among all the professional players in the country, this level of skill was absolutely unparalleled!
He gave Fang Chenyi a thumbs-up, but then his gaze swept over the jarringly low rank—Stubborn Bronze. He glanced at his own rank, Invincible War God, and felt an overwhelming urge to start cursing.
’He’s figured it out now. This Fang Chenyi had been playing dumb the whole ti—pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger. No, that wasn’t right. This was more like an ant pretending to be weak to devour an elephant!’
’And it wasn’t just in the ga; it was the sa in real life. The guy spent his days carrying a woven sack and collecting scrap, but he was secretly a magnate worth at least trillions!’
While Principal Wang was still dazed, he saw Fang Chenyi on the screen raise his crossbow scope again. About two seconds later, there was another SWOOSH, followed imdiately by a second bolt flying out.
Two consecutive ssages appeared on the left side of the screen.
[Fang Chenyi] knocked down [Undying Shadow] with a Crossbow.
[Fang Chenyi] eliminated [Undying Shadow] with a Crossbow.

Back in the Undying Squad’s studio, the captain, Undying and Unyielding, was watching his teammate’s screen. His teammate had just picked up a 98k from the previous death crate, but before he could even chamber a round, he was eliminated by that sa Fang Chenyi. Undying and Unyielding was left completely speechless.
’What the hell kind of monster is this guy?’ he thought. ’As far as I know, there’s no one this incredible in the entire pro scene.’
Just then, another team mber, ’Undying Xiaoqiang,’ sighed and put down his phone. A mont later, their last remaining mber did the sa...
After effortlessly wiping out the entire enemy squad, Fang Chenyi contentedly put away his crossbow and switched to his Desert Eagle.
He didn’t look up, however. If he had, he would have seen every mber of Principal Wang’s squad in the living room staring at him like he was so kind of monster.
It wasn’t just the squad mbers, either. Even ’Fallen God,’ the strear who was comntating on the match, was staring with his mouth agape, at a complete loss for words.
The stream chat was flying by at an incredible speed. Aside from endless strings of ’6666’, it was impossible to make out a single word.
BANG BANG BANG BANG...
A burst of gunfire snapped the mbers of Principal Wang’s squad out of their shock.
Seeing two players crawling on the ground in front of an airdrop crate, Cold Blood and Bufan instinctively raised their weapons to fire. But Fang Chenyi quickly stopped them.
"You two just cover them, but don’t shoot! C’mon, nghan, you can use them for target practice."
The room fell silent.
This match seed to have beco Fang Chenyi and his girlfriend’s personal showcase, especially since the remaining players were nowhere near the level of the Undying Squad.
For the rest of the match, Bufan and Cold Blood were reduced to providing cover. And by "providing cover," that ant they literally just aid their guns. As for actually shooting? Sorry, they never got the chance.
Every ti they encountered another player, Fang Chenyi would knock them down, and then Bai nghan would proceed to ’terrorize’ them.
At one point, a player by a river was so thoroughly terrorized by Bai nghan that he resolutely crawled into the water to drown himself.
"WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!"
Half an hour later, that notification appeared on the screen, finally bringing the couple’s show to a close.
A look at the post-ga stats showed Fang Chenyi with 49 kills and 5,135 points of damage, making him the undisputed MVP!
Right behind him in second place was Bai nghan, with 43 assists...
Third was Bufan, with 3 kills and 290 damage.
And bringing up the rear was Principal Wang’s account... with zero kills.
In Fallen God’s stream, the strear himself perfectly tid a screenshot of the final "Chicken Dinner" victory screen and posted it for everyone to see.
The screenshot prominently featured Fang Chenyi and his 49-kill victory.
The stream chat had gone completely wild. Most of it was still an endless flood of ’6666’.
"6666, I thought he was just so Bronze player, but it turns out he’s a god!"
"I’ll bet a year’s worth of dirty laundry that Principal Wang’s squad is taking ho the trophy this year!"
"666, if Principal Wang’s squad doesn’t win it all this year, I’ll livestream myself taking a dump while doing a handstand!"
"But seriously, who is this ’Fang Chenyi’ god? The Undying Squad couldn’t even survive a single engagent with him!"

Of course, Fang Chenyi and the others couldn’t see the commotion in the live stream. Back in the living room, Fang Chenyi was looking at the astonished faces around him with a puzzled expression.
"Uh, why is everyone looking at like that? Oh, you’re surprised by the results, aren’t you? It’s probably because my rank is so low that the ga matched us with the worst players. Right, what’s that term you guys use? A ’fish pond,’ I think?"
’A fish pond?’ Principal Wang thought incredulously. ’A fish pond that has two of the best professional teams in the entire country in it?? Then what the hell qualifies as a high-tier lobby?!’
Principal Wang couldn’t help but curse inwardly, but his face was all smiles and flattery.
"So, Brother Fang... any interest in officially joining our squad?"
"Not interested. I’m too busy collecting scrap all day. I don’t have ti for sothing like this."
