He turned to Bai nghan and asked with a smile,

"nghan, what do you think of Qinhuang Sunshine’s performance?"

Bai nghan nodded instinctively. "Yes, I’ve looked at this month’s reports and the previous ones. It looks like things have been very stable over there."

As she finished speaking, Fang Chenyi nodded. Then, he turned his gaze to Bai nghan’s mother and said with a smile,

"I rember nghan ntioned you were a middle school teacher before you retired, right, Mrs. Bai? That’s perfect. I’m so busy all the ti that I haven’t had a chance to manage the Qinhuang Sunshine school. How about this? If you’re willing, you could help look after it. It would be a perfect fit for your profession."

Upon hearing she could return to a school, Mrs. Bai was delighted. She nodded and readily agreed with a smile.

"Alright. I get bored sitting around all day anyway. I’ll go over tomorrow. I taught math. If it’s convenient, you can start off as a seventh-grade math teacher."

Fang Chenyi gave a helpless, wry smile.

"No, Mrs. Bai, I’m not asking you to go there to be a teacher. I need you to help manage the school. I need you to be the principal."

Hearing this, Bai nghan’s mother imdiately waved her hands in refusal. "No, no, I can’t be the principal. I was only a grade-level director before I retired. I’ve never been a principal!"

Fang Chenyi chuckled. "Heh, but Mrs. Bai, you were a grade-level director. I’ve never even been a teacher. Are you really comfortable entrusting the children’s future to ?"

At the ntion of the children’s future, Mrs. Bai hesitated. As a retired veteran teacher, the most important thing to her was the future of the children. Hearing Fang Chenyi’s words, she began to waver.

Just then, Fang Chenyi’s mother spoke up with a warm smile.

"He’s right, you know. With his limited experience, he’d just be misleading the students. Since our boy has asked, you shouldn’t refuse."

Father Fang, who was beside them, quickly chid in with his agreent. After considering for another mont, Mrs. Bai finally gave a heavy nod. "Well, alright then! I’ll go and give it a try first. If I feel I’m not up to the task, I promise I’ll tell you right away."

With his mother-in-law’s matter settled, Fang Chenyi turned to his father-in-law. After a mont of thought, he said,

"Mr. Bai, seeing as Mrs. Bai is going to help out, and you’re still as strong as ever, how about you help too?"

Before Father Bai could respond, Fang Chenyi turned to Bai nghan again.

"nghan, have you seen the reports from Southern Airlines?"

Bai nghan nodded.

"I have. The last report we looked at was from Southern Airlines. I feel like there are so issues with it, but I’m not entirely clear on the specifics."

Fang Chenyi nodded at her words. He recalled his previous experiences at Southern Airlines and felt so doubts about the managent there.

Nodding, he looked at Father Bai and asked, "Mr. Bai, I heard nghan ntion before that you served in the military when you were young, is that right?"

Father Bai smiled and nodded.

"Haha, that’s true. When I was young, I was an aviator in the air force for eight years! I started flying as a wingman in my third year. I flew the J-6 back then, Huaxia’s first supersonic fighter jet! I rember our air division only managed to get two of them. They held selections for the entire regint, and in the end, only two of us were chosen!"

Speaking of this point of pride from his youth, Father Bai beca exceptionally excited. Fang Chenyi, listening beside him, was stunned. He had only heard Bai nghan ntion offhandedly that her father had been in the air force; he never expected he had flown a J-6 back in the day!

Beside them, Mrs. Fang and Father Fang were also listening with great interest. They never thought their son’s father-in-law had been in the air force and had even flown a fighter jet.

After his father-in-law finished his story, Fang Chenyi chid in at the perfect mont with a grin. "Heh, I had no idea you were so amazing, Mr. Bai. In that case, you can’t refuse my next offer. Let’s do this: when you have ti, I’ll take you to see Southern Airlines. From now on, I’m handing Southern Airlines over to you! Since you’ve flown fighter jets, you must have a pilot’s license, right? We can get it re-certified, and you might just get the chance to fly again."

It had to be said, Fang Chenyi’s last sentence was devastatingly effective. Father Bai, who had been planning to refuse, imdiately hesitated after hearing it.

His hesitation wasn’t about the job itself, but mainly that his wife and daughter were in Qinhuang Island, while Southern Airlines Headquarters was in Jingcheng. This would an being separated.

Seeing Father Bai’s hesitation, Fang Chenyi suddenly realized this as well and slapped his forehead. "Mr. Bai, I plan to develop Qinhuang Island into a tier-one-plus city, so I was already planning to move Southern Airlines’ headquarters here. Your first task after taking over Southern Airlines will be to start preparing for the site selection and relocation of the headquarters. What do you think?"

Fang Chenyi was speaking sincerely. Qinhuang Island was a coastal city, backed by Jingcheng. Most importantly, Fang Chenyi was born and raised here and had a deep affection for it. He truly did intend to develop Qinhuang Island into a tier-one-plus city.

And what he planned to do was move the headquarters of all his businesses to Qinhuang Island.

"This... Moving the Southern Airlines Headquarters is no small matter! The manpower, resources, and finances required... it’s not a small sum!"

Father Bai had been a junior manager at a company before. Although it couldn’t compare to Southern Airlines, he could easily understand what Fang Chenyi was saying and even quickly grasp the difficulties involved.

Fang Chenyi, however, waved his hand dismissively. "Aren’t we humans born to challenge one difficulty after another? Don’t worry, Mr. Bai. Manpower, resources, finances... for our family, none of those are a problem."

As if encouraged by Fang Chenyi, Father Bai thought for a mont, then nodded forcefully and said in a determined tone,

"Alright! We’re all one family now. I don’t have a son, and even though you’re my son-in-law, in my heart, you’re just like a son to ! Since you have such grand ambitions, I will definitely support you with everything I have!"

"Haha, well said! We’re all one family. We’ll all work together. Even if we can’t build an entire empire for this rascal, we’ll still do our absolute best. Co, let’s have a drink, you and I."

His dad, listening to the conversation between Fang Chenyi and Father Bai from the side, felt his own blood stir with excitent. Especially after managing a company for so ti, his own mindset had clearly changed. His perspective on things was no longer the old attitude of being content with a little wealth.

Seeing this, Fang Chenyi quickly raised his glass as well.

"Co, Dad, Mr. Bai, let’s all have a drink."

But who would have thought that his dad would glare at him irritably.

"The two of us are having a drink. What are you butting in for?"
