It took him three days to reach Kingua City and find the academy. He paid the coachman who dropped him in front of the massive gate.
Coachman took the money and said before leaving. "Work hard, young friend, God may help your life goals.’’
Victor smiled. " Thank you, kind Grandpa."
After a brief nod, Old coachman "Giddy up!" His horses soon went far away. Victor turns toward the Gate. So, this is Kingsana Academy. Em said she would co here two days later.
While he is alone he is going to awaken his ability and join the entrance exam though he doesn’t know what the exam is. But it’s related to abilities, so he can guess it should be sothing fighting, surviving, sparing nothing scholarly.
This academy trains fighters to face rift creatures, after 6 years of his travel he still hadn’t seen a single rift, but he heard a lot about it. It only appeared in an outer area, outside the invisible space protection barrier.
People said that 300 years ago the king of the Kinsana kingdom created a big invisible barrier on Tartarus land. Now, all humans live under barrier protection. But barriers only stop rifts from opening, not the creatures, they can just walk in, but the rift fighter stopped them at the outside land, there’s always war between outsiders and Tartarus people.
They say old rifts are becoming permanent stable gates that are real threats. He wished there would be a rift that leads him to a world nad Eertha.
Victor wants to go outside to see the Rifts but if there are so many rifts how would he find the right rift? He hopes Em knows sothing. He doesn’t want to go into the unknown Rift and fall into the river. Rivers are scary.
I have checked before entering it and it won’t open in the river.
He gazed at the gate. Many people were just going in, and no one stopped them so he did the sa. He entered the academy.
He saw a big, spacious ground. There were gardens on both sides of the grey-tiled street. He walked ahead, then stopped. There were three ways to go.
So which way should I go?
He saw so guys talking as they walked toward him. He approaches them.
"Did you hear that Princes and princesses of the Floral and Ganaka Kingdom are also attending ..."
"Hello, kind sir, can I know which way I should go to get an ability check?’’ He interrupted their talk.
Four guys stopped and looked at him. The guy who was talking earlier imdiately pointed his finger to the left. "You see that big gate it’s a awaking hall, go there.’’
"Thank you, kind Sir." Victor walked toward the awakening hall.
"He called you a Kind Sir, we didn’t know you were a kind sir."
"Is he noble?"
" I don’t think so, they don’t co early, they would co their luscious charges with a lot of guards"
"Yeah, they don’t talk with us, commoners."
"He must be from so rich rchant family, look at his clothes, they look expensive."
The group of boys start talking about Victor behind his back.

He entered the awaking hall. There was already a line of boys waiting for their turns. On the stage stood a middle-aged man, in front of his orb placed on a table. One by one everyone is going to place their hand on it.
One guy ca down from the stage and the next went up, he placed his hand on it, just like the first guy. The Orb glowed with golden light; soon, a screen appeared in the air like a status screen.
Shopping boy’s ability.
"Fireball, common grade, pass, you can stay in the dorm today and tomorrow participate in the entrance exam." The middle-aged man told the boy.
The boy bowed his head, showing respect and thanked him before moving away.
Victor got in the line and waited for his turn, while he saw another boy who went up on the stage placed his hand on the Orb, but it did not glow this ti.
"No ability, fail" the middle-aged man said flatly. The boy began to cry silently as he walked down from the stage with his head down.
Victor felt bad for him. One by one, they continue the sa process another guy awakened the ability.
"wind wave, rare grade, pass, stay in dorm..."
Only 5 people awakened abilities out of 30 before, the last person– a girl who stood in front of him went on the stage. She placed her hand on the Orb, and the Orb glowed.
Victor felt chill out of nowhere.
"Ice louts, unique grade, pass. No need to participate in the entrance exam, you can directly join the academy."
"Thank you" the girl nodded and ca down from the stage. Now it was his turn, going up on the stage he placed his hand on an orb, its golden in golden light.
"Stealth, common grade.., you can participate in tomorrow’s entrance exam, today you can stay in the academy dorms if you want," the guy told him the sa thing he told everyone.
He nodded and walked down from the stage Stealth. Great, he liked it, now he can simply hide if soone chases him.
While using his ability, he can stay stealth as long as he doesn’t move. He walked out of the entrance hall, and asked soone the location of the dorms,..

The next day many students stood in a massive hall. filled with curious mumbles, one by one by one three young n and two pretty ladies stepped on the stage.
"Sliance!’’ A man with short golden hair’s voice echoes through the hall.
The hall turned quiet, and students looked at him, curiously. ’’ My na is Brlock Scrool, A student council president, and your examiner, your exam will start soon, those who can pass will enter the academy..,, those who fail can leave from here, but don’t worry, the test is easy it’s simply to kill...
