Yuna stood quietly, waiting for Arthur’s answer.
Even though she appeared calm on the outside, her mind was a little restless.
’Will he accept... or refuse?’
She could not tell.
Arthur was unpredictable. He was strong, determined, and far from ordinary. That was exactly why she had chosen him.
She could see that he was soone who only cared about getting stronger no matter the thod.
Just like her own master had once done for her, Yuna wanted to pass down everything she had learned. Her techniques, her combat style, her experience on the battlefield.
All of it.
’My legacy shouldn’t disappear with .’
Yuna had made many enemies during her life. Powerful enemies.
She understood sothing most warriors eventually realized.
No one lived forever.
’Who knows which day will be my last.’
If that day ever ca, she wanted soone to carry her na forward. Soone who could prove that the things she taught still lived on.
And Arthur was the perfect candidate.
She had seen him fight with that Jordan guy inside the C-rank dungeon as she had used her connections in the hunter Association to get her hands on the footage of his fight after the news had spread.
The way he moved, the way he adapted mid battle, the way his mind sharpened under pressure. Those were not traits that could easily be taught.
Those were the marks of soone destined to beco exceptional.
’With proper training... I can turn him into a monster on the battlefield.’
Her gaze stayed fixed on Arthur.
Then finally, Arthur opened his mouth.
Yuna straightened slightly, anticipation rising.
’Well... what will it be?’
Arthur spoke.
"Alright. I accept the offer. Teach everything you know."
For a mont, Yuna froze.
Those were the exact words she had been hoping to hear.
Then suddenly, a bright smile blood across her face.
Without warning, she lunged forward and wrapped Arthur in a powerful bear hug.
Arthur’s eyes widened instantly.
His face was suddenly buried deep against Yuna’s chest, pressed firmly between her bust.
The hug was incredibly tight.
Too tight.
Arthur’s voice ca out muffled.
"Mmpph—!"
Air refused to enter his lungs.
His arms flailed for a mont before he began tapping rapidly on Yuna’s back, like a fighter signaling surrender during a chokehold.
Tap~
tap~
tap~
Yuna blinked.
Then she realized what was happening.
"Oh!"
She imdiately released him.
Arthur stumbled back slightly and bent forward, taking huge gulps of air.
"Haaah... haaah..."
His lungs burned as he greedily inhaled oxygen.
Yuna leaned closer, grabbing his shoulders and shaking him slightly.
"Hey! Are you okay? Arthur? Talk to !"
Arthur held up a hand as his breathing slowly stabilized.
After a few more deep breaths, he finally straightened up.
"Damn you, woman," he said, glaring at her. "Are you trying to kill ?"
He wiped his mouth and continued dramatically.
"I swear... I almost saw my idol Jordan waving at from the other side of the River Styx, telling to co join him."
Yuna stared at him for a mont.
Then she rolled her eyes.
"Don’t be so dramatic. I was just expressing how happy I am."
Arthur sighed.
"From now on, please express it in so other ways."
Yuna clicked her tongue.
"Tch."
She crossed her arms and looked away slightly.
"You’re no fun."
After calming down, Arthur looked toward Yuna and stretched his neck slightly. The tension from earlier was finally fading, though his mind was still full of thoughts about everything that had just happened.
He glanced around the destroyed hotel room once more before focusing on her again.
"So... are we going to train inside the hotel?" Arthur asked casually. "Because honestly, I was planning to leave this country tomorrow."
Yuna tilted her head slightly.
"Is it because of the Blue Magic Tower?" she asked.
Arthur nodded.
"Yeah. That’s one of the reasons."
He paused for a mont before continuing.
"The other reason is because I was planning to enter the Null Realm."
The mont those words left his mouth—
Yuna froze.
Her expression slowly turned dumbfounded, as if she had just heard the most ridiculous thing imaginable.
She stared at Arthur for several seconds before finally speaking.
"Are you sure you’re not actually an idiot?"
Arthur’s mouth twitched.
’Why does everyone keep insulting my intelligence today?’
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Yeah... yeah, I know. I was a bit overconfident."
He sighed slightly before continuing.
"I got a reality check inside that C-rank dungeon. It showed how weak I actually am."
Arthur shrugged lightly.
"You could say that was one of the main reasons I accepted becoming your disciple."
Yuna nodded slowly.
"Good."
She crossed her arms.
"For a mont I was afraid you had a very low IQ."
A vein popped on Arthur’s forehead.
’This woman seriously wants to get punched.’
But before he could say anything—
Yuna suddenly raised a hand and cut him off.
"Listen carefully."
Her tone changed.
It beca more serious.
"The Null Realm is a completely different world."
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she continued.
"It is filled with dangers you can’t even comprehend."
"Ancient tombs."
"Unknown races that people only talk about in myths."
"Places that no one has been able to explore until now."
Arthur listened silently.
Yuna continued speaking.
"Believe it or not, most of our groundbreaking inventions and technologies actually ca from the Null Realm."
She leaned back slightly.
"Yes, it’s also filled with opportunities."
"But above all... it’s about survival."
A smug smile slowly appeared on her face.
"But for soone like ?"
She shrugged casually.
"That place is a piece of cake."
Her gaze shifted toward Arthur.
"But for soone like you right now?"
Her expression turned blunt.
"That place would be a nightmare."
"A nightmare you would never escape once you stepped inside."
Her voice lowered slightly.
"I’ve seen people get torn apart in front of ."
Silence filled the room for a mont.
Arthur scratched his cheek lazily.
"Alright, alright. I heard how great you are."
Yuna rolled her eyes.
Then suddenly—
Her expression beca serious.
"If you want..."
Her voice lowered.
"I can get rid of the Blue Magic Tower Master for you."
A faint killing intent radiated from her body.
The temperature in the room seed to drop slightly.
Arthur imdiately understood sothing.
’She’s not joking.’
The woman standing in front of him was a true battle maniac.
That was one of the main reasons she had more enemies than friends.
She was always looking for a reason to fight.
Arthur sighed.
"No need for that."
Yuna raised an eyebrow.
"I don’t want unnecessary bloodshed," Arthur continued calmly. "Just talk to him."
Then a small smirk appeared on his face.
"And if after talking a lot he still doesn’t understand..."
Arthur shrugged.
"Then you can go wild if you want."
For a mont—
Yuna stared at him.
Then suddenly she burst out laughing.
"Hahaha!"
She wiped a tear from the corner of her eye.
"I already like the way you’re thinking."
Then she stretched her arms upward and yawned lazily.
"Alright."
She glanced at him.
"Take whatever you want. We’re leaving soon."
Arthur blinked.
"Leaving?"
He frowned slightly.
"Where?"
Yuna smiled.
A confident smile.
"To the place where my master trained ."
Her eyes glead slightly.
"The place where she passed down her techniques..."
"And her martial arts."
