The sun had barely touched the horizon when ti itself seed to still within the Carter residence in the island, Isle of Serenity.

The wedding night was an experience stretched beyond the constraints of a single rotation.

Thanks to Ethan’s Chronokinesis, what appeared to be a single night to the outside world stretched into several blissful days within their bedroom. Ti bent around them gently — seconds unfurling into hours, hours into days — as Ethan, Jean, and Anna made every heartbeat of their new beginning count.

The guests, anwhile, enjoyed a day of luxurious celebration. Many returned ho that afternoon, but the core group of friends and allies lingered, soaking up the atmosphere until nightfall. By the following day, everyone had departed, respecting the newlyweds’ need for solitude.

The trio spent the next three days in blissful, unrestrained fun on their private island and few of their favourite places in this world.

They didn’t imdiately depart for their planned Omniversal Honeymoon because two critical tasks demanded Ethan’s attention first.

The first priority was corporate stability. Ethan needed to stabilize the revolutionary products from his company—naly, the Regeneration Cradle and the Mutant Stabilizer Serum—which were launched recently before stepping away for an extended trip. This was essential for the company’s integrity and for the overall peace of the mutant community.

The regeneration cradle and the mutant-stabilizer serum had to be steady in the public eye before he could leave everything in other hands and vanish for months across the omniverse.

Moreover, to celebrate their wedding, Ethan also announced sothing that stunned every employee at Aeon Biotech, a full year of paid bonuses for all staff.

The announcent sent shockwaves through the corporate world and tears through the employee lounge.

As a forr corporate man he understood how far a single year of security stretches; he liked that his second life could be kinder than his first.

He knew the grind, the exhaustion, and the feeling of being unseen. This ti, he made sure no one under him ever felt that way again.

The second, and far more significant, task was the long-anticipated rger of the Cosmic Power and the Phoenix Force Fragnt.

The Phoenix fragnt inside him and the raw Power Cosmic had resisted each other in previous attempts, spitting and snapping like two ancient beasts unwilling to share a roof. The answer had co slowly that his own life force could be the bridge, the dium neither power would refuse.

He realized that his unique life force had, over successive attempts, adapted into a suitable substitute catalyst, capable of diating and connecting the incompatible energies to facilitate their rger.

By channeling his vitality between them, he could stabilize their frequencies and power — rging what was never ant to be united.

This crucial process had been delayed by a month due to the wedding festivities and the subsequent local honeymoon—a delay Ethan genuinely did not regret, having enjoyed every second spent with his wives and even fitting in a few dates with his other interests, Diana, Didi, and Susan.

Now that a month slipped by before Ethan could carve out the ritual space, he is ready to start the rger. He explained everything to his won, telling them through the nad psychic link they used for long-distance communication the ’Nexus-Mind Lattice’.

He warned that during the procedure, the channel might glow and distort or even cut off their connection completely, it’s a sign of the imnse energy it would channel.

They all agreed without hesitation, their confidence in him unwavering—and even felt a quiet happiness knowing his strength was about to grow further.

Ethan wanted to finish this before their honeymoon trip, not wishing to cause any more delays.

------------

Inside the Mirror Dinsion, a fractured plane of glasslike space.

Ethan stood in the center, his breathing slowed as cosmic energy rippled beneath his skin.

As the Phoenix Force Fragnt and the Cosmic Power were drawn together, diated by the pulsing energy of his own life essence, Ethan’s body began to glow a deep, internal red, while a fierce white aura leaked out and enveloped him. The raw energy of the rger was instantly initiating an unprecedented upgrade to his body, soul, and very essence.

The intensity of the influx instantly shredded his custom-tailored clothing, earning a sigh of resignation from Ethan—"Even the strongest enchantnts can’t handle a cosmic divorce," he muttered—before his focus snapped back to the rging power.

Ethan’s life force flared — threads of blue energy weaving between the red and white lights.

An hour later, the convergence reached its chaotic peak.

BOOOMMM!!!!

The completed, singular force ripped through Ethan’s entire being. The sheer, concentrated power blast his soul and body across the Mirror Dinsion.

The energy was so imnse and instantaneous that the very fabric of the dinsion cracked and warped, shimring violently as if about to shatter completely.

But suddenly seconds later, the process halted at the brink, and the dinsion slowly, painstakingly, began to stabilize and return to its original state.

The explosion had torn everything apart—body, soul, and essence scattered through the Mirror Dinsion like fragnts of light. For a fleeting mont, Ethan was nothing. No form, no sound, no thought—just existence suspended in a sea of blinding energy.

Then, from the silence, sothing stirred.

A faint pulse of light began to gather, a spark forming at the heart of the chaos. It drew in the remnants of energy that had once been him, threads of radiant power weaving together in intricate patterns. The light condensed, swirling and twisting, shaping the outline of a figure.

First ca the bone. With a sound like grinding tectonic plates, the pure energy around his soul solidified into an internal scaffold. The spine thrumd into place, followed by the perfect, powerful geotry of his skull and ribcage, all materializing instantly and seamlessly. Every joint locked with a deafening, percussive click. He was a skeleton of pure, white-gold power, the unyielding fra of an Immortal forged anew.

Before the power could fade, the nerves flared to life. Blue-white energy stread from the base of the skull, spooling the complex architecture of his brain and spinal cord. The peripheral nerves snaked out like liquid light, trailing over the adamantine bones. This was the return of feeling, a torrent of electric sensation.

Finally, the muscle, sinew, and blood erupted across the frawork. Tendons snapped taut, anchoring thick, dark-red muscle fibers that pulsed with raw, undeniable power. The vascular system simultaneously flooded with a river of concentrated vitality—a humming, golden ichor that instantly ward the cold structure.

In a single, final breath, the perfect layer of flesh and skin sheathed the entire structure.

Energy flowed through him like rivers of lightning, tracing the paths where power and will intertwined. The air trembled as the form grew clearer, substance layering over light until energy beca matter, and matter beca Ethan once more.

When the final flare subsided, he stood at the center of the Mirror Dinsion—new, radiant, and whole.

Ethan hovered at its center, suspended in an ethereal glow.

When he finally opened his eyes, blue fire and white lightning danced in them together in each pupil.

He looked down at himself and looked exactly as he had—there were no unnecessary physical flourishes, but his body is now at its absolute, optimized peak.

Only facing a truly superior conceptual entity would force further physical evolution. But the change in his aura was terrifying and magnificent. His skin radiated a subtle, deep warmth.

He flexed his fingers and felt a new taste on the world: the echo of lives, the possible arcs of destruction and healing, the slow, compassionate geotry of birth and of ending.

He looked down, and a self-satisfied smirk curled his lips. His physical reconstruction hadn’t missed a beat; his ’little brother’ had certainly benefited from the total life-force refinent.

But the main prize was the power itself. It was no longer a fragnt and a pool of energy; it was a cohesive, unified force of his own making. It effortlessly rged the Phoenix Force’s mastery over life, death, and conceptual rebirth; the Cosmic Power’s ability to manipulate matter, energy of existence.

He didn’t need a manual or a voice to tell him its nature. He simply knew. This was the ultimate expression of creation and order.

’It worked perfectly,’ he thought.

The fusion of the Phoenix Force fragnt and the cosmic energy reached its final crescendo, birthing sothing new—sothing absolute.

A power that was neither life nor death, yet commanded both. A force that could end existence or begin it anew.

The absolute Authority over Life, Death, and Rebirth.

He exhaled softly, his voice resonating with power that bent the air around him. "So... this is it."

He whispered to himself, tasting the phrase as if it had been written in the stars for this very mont.

"Authority of Genesis."

That was the na given to his new power.

The title echoed across the Mirror Dinsion, carried by the hum of creation itself — the birth of a power that transcended gods and the laws of the universe.

----------------

The Mirror Dinsion bowed to the force now anchored within it. Ethan stood in the epicenter of his own personal genesis, the raw, unbound energy of Genesis power churning just beneath his skin.

He slowly clenched his fist. As the countless particles of energy obeyed his ntal command, a vibrant, crystalline bluish-white aura flared around him, crackling with the fusion of cosmic might and phoenix fire.

The internal explosion that had destroyed him monts ago was rely the agonizing prerequisite for this rebirth—his very essence shattered, cleansed, and reforged at a completely different conceptual level. He was no longer just a wielder of powerful abilities; he had gained true authority.

Every one of his innate abilities—telepathy, chronokinesis, magic, and speed—was not rely amplified; they were elevated to a state of subli perfection, operating with the precision of a universal constant. He could now perceive the complex energetic lattices of beings and objects he couldn’t even sense before.

Ethan slowly lifted his arms and legs, spreading his stance wide as he floated effortlessly in the air. A euphoric, magnetic grin stretched across his face, his blue eyes blazing with that sa ethereal blue light.

The infinite power of Genesis flowed through him, intoxicating and utterly perfect.

’This... this is what pure authority feels like,’ he mused internally, the feeling of absolute supremacy washing over his soul. ’I finally understand the sentint. This is the ultimate peak, second only to the monts I spend tangled up with my girls.’

He allowed the feeling to settle for a few glorious minutes, letting the power carve its new boundaries into his consciousness. Then, with the practiced discipline of a veteran immortal, he cald the surging torrent and began to experint.

Thanks to his Reactive Adaptation, the mastering process was startlingly swift. The initial, innate understanding of the power transford into seamless, flawless control.

He tested its limits. He couldn’t manifest matter from absolute nothingness—a true creation ex nihilo remained the domain of the truly Omnipotent. But the limitations were negligible compared to the sheer scope of his new capabilities. He could create and destroy galaxies with effortless ease, making him a true contender against any universal-level threat.

More importantly, the authority over life, death, and rebirth was absolute on a fundantal level. He could manipulate the life force, spiritual essence, and conceptual structure of living beings, healing them, transforming them, or extinguishing their very concept from existence.

As the Chinese protagonists would say, the difference between his pre-awakening and post-awakening power was no less than the difference between Heaven and Earth.

Having flexed his newfound authority—reconfiguring a few animals he kidnapped recently for practice—Ethan stepped silently out of the Mirror Dinsion.

....

**Carter Residence, New York**

He reappeared instantly in the plush, expansive living room of the Carter Residence.

A flurry of movent greeted him. Anna, Jean, Diana, and Susan imdiately shot up from the sectional sofa. Before he could take a proper breath, he was engulfed.

Jean reached him first, her arms wrapping around his waist. "Ethan! You’re back!" she exclaid, a profound relief and a surge of pride flooding him through the Nexus-Mind Lattice.

Anna pulled him into a powerful side hug, her erald eyes sparkling. "Well? Did you finally break the universe, or just rearrange the furniture? You look ridiculously smug, even for you."

Diana stepped back slightly, her gaze assessing, a deep respect in her eyes. "Your aura... it has changed. It is monuntal, beloved."

Susan, always supportive, just smiled brightly. "Congratulations, darling. You were glowing!"

Didi, seated nearby, rely smiled a lovely, knowing smile, crossing her legs and taking a slow sip of her coffee. She probability senced his powers.

Ethan laughed, a deep, resonant sound of pure satisfaction. He held his four girls close and looked at Didi. "Sorry, Didi, you missed the chaotic hug."

"I calculated the trajectory of the initial impact," Didi replied smoothly, a hint of mischief in her voice. "I decided a preemptive strike wasn’t worth the coffee spill."

Ethan gave Jean, Diana, Susan and Anna a quick peck on the forehead before releasing them, turning to face the group. "So, the good news: I succeeded. The bad news: My tailor will hate again."

He sat down, beckoning them closer, and began to explain the fusion, simplifying them into manageable concepts.

"The Cosmic Power and the Phoenix Fragnt were too volatile. My life force beca the perfect container—the Genesis Bridge," he explained, his eyes glowing faintly. "The result isn’t a combination; it’s an entirely new conceptual force. It has the Phoenix’s complete control over life, death, and conceptual existence, fused with the Cosmic Power’s mastery of the physical universe, and even tossed in a dash of my own weather abilities for flavor."

He chuckled, flashing Anna a cocky smirk. "I can now destroy, or rewrite living beings and can level entire galaxies. The authority over life, death, and rebirth is essentially a dial I can turn. The process was ssy, but now I’m the proud owner of a new power."

"And what is the na of that power?" Diana asked, leaning forward, her tone serious.

"The Authority of Genesis," Ethan stated, the na sounding like a decree.

Anna rolled her eyes playfully. "So, big guy, you’re basically a walking, talking reset button for living things now, huh?"

"Essentially," Ethan confird, taking her hand. "But a very charming and devoted reset button."

Jean reached out, touching his cheek with profound tenderness. ’I see it, Ethan. A limitless future. You have reached a new conceptual zenith. We are so proud,’

Didi finally set her coffee cup down. "Congratulations, Ethan. You didn’t just gain power; you gained an Authority that changes the stakes for everything."

"Exactly," Ethan agreed, his gaze softening as he looked at all five won—his universe contained in this room. "And I think that authority needs a little road testing. I promised a certain Amazon a gift before we start building sandcastles in other universes."
