Scott looked skeptical. "So you're telling he has so kind of multiversal tech? And that woman—Anissa—she's from a different world?"

Storm asked. "So, what's the plan? If she's stuck here, she's our problem now."

After the movie, they walked through the city, stopping at a few shops and grabbing ice cream. Ethan teased Anna about her newfound super strength, jokingly challenging her to an arm-wrestling match at a café.
She nearly broke the table.

By the evening, they arrived at a normal restaurant for dinner.

When he returned, he saw Anna sitting at the table, smiling sweetly as she talked to a blonde guy in a leather jacket.

Ethan sighed before walking up to the table. "Anna," he said casually, "who's your new friend?"
Anna turned to him and her grin widening. "Oh, Ethan! This is Johnny. He was just keeping company while you were gone."
Johnny Storm, the future Human Torch, extended his hand. "Nice to et ya, man. Johnny Storm."
Ethan shook his hand, instantly recognizing the na. Future mber of the Fantastic Four.

Johnny smirked. "Your girl's got a hell of a personality."
Ethan smirked back. "Oh, trust , I know."
The two chatted for a bit, and despite the initial tension, Ethan found that Johnny was actually pretty fun to be around.
Realizing Johnny would be famous in the future, Ethan made sure to establish a friendly relationship. It was always good to have connections.
Eventually, Johnny waved them off with a grin. "See you around, Anna. And Ethan? Try to keep up with her, man."
Ethan chuckled. "I'll do my best."
As Johnny left, Anna nudged Ethan. "You so got jealous, didn't you?"
Ethan scoffed. "Please. I'm not the jealous type."
Anna smirked. "Sure, sure."
Ethan rolled his eyes. "Alright, fine. Maybe a little."
Anna giggled, linking her arm with his. "Good. I like keeping you on your toes."
By the ti they returned to the mansion, the night was calm.
Ethan walked into his room, seeing Bobby and John already asleep.
Lying down, he stared at the ceiling while deep in thought.
His life had been... surprisingly peaceful lately without much challenge.
But sothing in his gut told him that wouldn't last.
Sothing was coming.
Anissa? The Phoenix Force? Or sothing else entirely?
He didn't know what is was and exhaled slowly before closing his eyes.
