A sharp beeping sound filled Logan's ears as he jerked awake, his body healed from the wounds Sabretooth had inflicted.

His enhanced senses imdiately picked up the unfamiliar scent of antiseptic and tal—a hospital-like environnt.

His claws unsheathed instinctively as he jumped off the dical bed, muscles tensed like a predator ready to strike.

The mont he moved, a figure in white coat and red hair stood in front of him.

"Easy there," she said while holding up her hands in a calming gesture. "You're safe."

"Where the hell am I?" Logan growled as he stood up and his muscles tensing.

She remained calm. "You're at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. We brought you here after you were injured."

"Yeah? And who the hell are you?"

She gave a small smile. "I'm Jean Grey. I was monitoring your condition."

But Logan didn't trust her. His animal instincts flared as he lunged forward with his claws aiming straight for her.

Jean's eyes flashed, and with a flick of her hand, Logan was suddenly hurled backward by an invisible force. His back slamd into the wall, leaving a dent in the tal.

Logan growled and is struggling against the telekinetic hold, his arms pinned.

"Relax, Logan," a calm and authoritative voice echoed.

Logan turned his head and saw a bald man in a wheelchair rolling into the room.

Professor Charles Xavier.

Jean released her hold, and Logan dropped to the floor with a grunt.

"What the hell is this place?" Logan spat, glaring at them both.

Xavier's expression remained composed. "You're at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters."

Logan stood up, rolling his shoulders. "Gifted? You an mutants?"

Xavier gave a small nod. "Exactly and it's good to see you awake, Logan."

Logan narrowed his eyes. "Do I know you, old man?"

Xavier gave a knowing smile. "Not yet. But I know you. You've been searching for your past, haven't you?"

Logan's fists clenched at his sides. "What do you know?"

"Not much... but I can help you recover your mories if you stay."

Jean crossed her arms. "You were attacked by Sabretooth. Do you rember anything from the fight."

Logan grunted while rubbing his temples. He rembered the fight, the brutal strength of Sabretooth—and the two people who had been with him.

His gaze sharpened. "Where are the kids?"

....

After Xavier explained the institute and gave Logan a brief tour, he followed Xavier and Jean through the halls until they reached a common room.

Inside, Ethan Carter and Anna sat together, talking quietly.

Anna imdiately perked up when she saw Logan. "Yer awake!"

Logan gave her a small nod before his gaze shifted to Ethan and his eyes filled with curiosity.

The last thing he rembered, Sabretooth had ripped Ethan apart.

But Ethan was right there, completely unscathed.

"You... should be dead," Logan muttered.

Ethan smirked. "Yeah, I should say the sa to you."

Logan crossed his arms. "I'm build different kid. Mind explaining?"

Ethan leaned back while stretching. "Let's just say... my body adapts. Every ti I take damage, I evolve to survive it."

Logan raised an eyebrow. "So, you get stronger every ti you fight?"

Ethan nodded. "Pretty much."

Logan let out a low whistle. "Damn. That's so cheat code you got there, bub."

Ethan grinned. "I like to think of it as an advantage."

Logan turned to Anna. "You doin' okay, kid?"

Anna gave a small smile. "Yeah... thanks to them."

Looking around, Logan also saw new faces who Anna introduced as Bobby (Iceman), John (Pyro), Kurt (Nightcrawler), Kitty Pryde, and Angelina Jones.

"You all roommates or sothin'?" Logan asked.

Ethan nodded. "Yeah, I share a room with Bobby and John."

He watched as Anna smiled more now.

Xavier rolled forward. "you're safe here, Logan. And if you choose, you can stay."

Logan glanced at Ethan and Anna before exhaling. "Yeah... guess I'll stick around for a bit."

...

After settling Anna and Ethan into the mansion, Professor Xavier and Jean decided it was ti to fully evaluate Anna's abilities. She had already explained how her powers had first manifested when she accidentally killed her ex-boyfriend with just a kiss. But she had never fully understood her abilities—until now.

Inside the mansion's training facility, Logan, Ethan, Jean and Storm stood alongside Anna as Jean prepared to test her powers. The room was large and tallic, lined with reinforced walls. It was designed to withstand even the most powerful mutants.

Anna stood in the center, fidgeting with the gloves she always wore.

Jean gave her a reassuring smile. "Alright, Anna. We're going to run so tests to help you understand your abilities better. Just rember, you're in control."

Anna nodded hesitantly. "So... what do I do?"

"You need to touch soone."

"So... ya'll want to touch soone?" Anna asked hesitantly.

Jean nodded. "We need to understand how your powers work, Anna."

Jean looked at Logan. "We'll start with Logan."

Anna took a deep breath and turned to Logan first. "Ready?" she asked.

Logan nodded while rolling his shoulders. "Yeah, yeah. Go ahead, kid. I can take it."

Anna removed her glove and placed her hand on Logan's arm.

Imdiately, she felt his life force flow into her, a shockwave of energy passed between them.

Logan stiffened and his eyes widening as he felt his strength being drained. His muscles tensed, and his knees buckled slightly as his healing factor started weakening.

Anna gasped with her breath hitching as power surged through her body. She suddenly felt stronger, like her senses were sharpening.

Jean quickly stepped in. "Alright, that's enough!"

Anna jerked her hand away, stumbling backward, breathing heavily. Logan's claws had unsheathed involuntarily, but as he recovered, they slowly retracted.

Logan shook his head, taking a deep breath. "Damn... that's one hell of a power."

Anna looked at her hands, terrified. "I... I didn't an to—"

Jean placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, Anna. You didn't hurt him. This is exactly why we're testing this—to help you learn control."

Logan grunted after healed in few seconds while pulling his arm away. "Damn. Feels weird."

Jean went over the readings displayed on the monitors. Her eyes widened slightly as she analyzed the results.

"Anna... your mutation allows you to absorb the life force, mories, and abilities of anyone you touch."

Anna's breath hitched. "So... I'm stealing their power?"

Jean nodded. "Temporarily, yes. But with prolonged contact, it could beco permanent."

Anna looked horrified. "That ans I can never touch anyone without hurting them..."

Jean's face softened. "That's not necessarily true. With training, you might learn how to regulate it."

Ethan, who had been leaning against the wall, smirked slightly. "Guess that makes you kinda dangerous, huh?"

Anna shot him a glare. "Not funny."

Jean nodded. "Now we need to see if there's a way to help you control it."

Anna's shoulders slumped. "That sounds like a long shot."

Ethan suddenly stepped forward, holding out his hand.

"Then let's test sothing else."

Anna's eyes widened. "Ethan, what are you doing?"

He smirked. "Seeing if my ability can handle yours."

Jean looked concerned. "Ethan, this could be dangerous."

Ethan shrugged. "That's what makes it fun."

Anna hesitated before slowly removing her glove again.

Taking a deep breath, she touched Ethan's hand.

And... Nothing happened.

Anna's eyes widened. "What the—?"

Ethan grinned. "Looks like my body adapted before you could even drain ."

Jean stared in shock. "That's... incredible."

Anna is still stunned and blinked. "So, you're saying I can touch you?"

Ethan wiggled his eyebrows. "Yup. And if you ever need a dance partner, I'm your guy."

Anna rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the small smile that ford and she squeezed Ethan's hand tightly.

Ethan smiled. "You're my friend, Anna. You don't have to be scared around ."

For the first ti since her powers manifested, she felt a glimr of hope.

.....

Days turned into weeks, and Ethan Carter had fully settled into life at Xavier's Institute.

He quickly beca one of the most popular students, and it wasn't hard to see why.

With his chiseled physique, beautiful blonde hair, striking blue eyes, and sharp intellect, Ethan was the center of attention—especially among the female students.

Many of the girls found excuses to talk to him, whether it was asking for help in class or simply striking up a conversation in the hallways.

And who could bla them? They were teenagers, and Ethan stood out.

They gravitated toward him, whispering about how he looked like a Greek god and how he excelled at almost everything.

He grasped advanced physics in a matter of days. His understanding of biology and genetics reached sowhere below Hank McCoy levels. He quickly learned multiple languages, even holding conversations in French and German after a few weeks.

"Dude, do you even study?" Bobby Drake asked one day, staring at Ethan's perfect test score.

Ethan smirked. "I just... pick things up quickly."

John Allerdyce snorted. "That's an understatent. You went from struggling with algebra to solving complex equations in a week. Either you're a genius or you've got cheat codes in your brain."

Ethan just laughed it off, but the truth was simple—his adaptation ability enhanced his intelligence too.

At first, it felt surreal to him. Before his transmigration, he had been sowhat of an introvert, preferring to keep to himself rather than engage in social interactions—especially with girls.

But sothing had changed within him. The Divine Spring not only transford his body but also his confidence and personality.

He no longer hesitated to talk. He no longer avoided eye contact.

Instead, he began to flirt effortlessly, his confidence growing with each passing day. Whether it was during classes, in the cafeteria, or even in training sessions, Ethan found himself engaging with people more openly—and they responded in kind.

Even the older students took notice.

And the girls? They couldn't get enough of him.

Jean Grey had been impressed by his intellect and quick thinking.

Storm saw potential in his abilities during her training sessions.

Even Kitty Pryde and Angelina Jones were often seen giggling whenever he was around.

But despite the attention, the person he was closest to remained Anna.

Their bond had been forged through shared experiences—being attacked by Sabretooth, surviving together, and navigating the uncertainty of their powers.

Anna, at first, had been awkward around him, still adjusting to the reality of her mutation. But Ethan had a way of making her feel comfortable. He treated her like a normal person, joking with her, teasing her lightly, and never showing fear of her abilities—especially after proving that he could touch her without consequences.

It was refreshing for her. For the first ti, Anna felt like she had soone who truly understood her without judgnt.
