Third Person's POV

"He is… troubleso. Sigh. How does one deal with such an obstacle?"

A deadly glint flickered in Otto's eyes and his expression twisted into sothing far more sinister as a slow, cruel sneer stretched across his lips.

"Hehehe… leave that insect to , Argos.

I know exactly how to handle those arrogant, spoiled brats who think the world bends to their will.

If he is as foolish as you say, then dealing with him will be a pleasure."

Master Argos gave a theatrical sigh and rubbed his temples as if burdened by the weight of the situation.

"Indeed, Young Master Otto.

Your presence is needed urgently.

Judging by their movents, they are near as we speak. Should you co to the Imperial Blade Hall at once?"

Otto exhaled through his nose and rolled his thin shoulders as if preparing for battle.

"Of course. I assu ti is of the essence?"

"Yes," Master Argos replied and his tone was laced with urgency.

"I can't delay them for too long without arousing suspicion. The sooner you arrive, the better."

Otto gave a dismissive wave and had already risen from his seat.

"Consider it done, Argos. Just keep them occupied until I get there."

Without waiting for a response, he severed the connection.

The glowing projection flickered before vanishing completely.

Master Argos lowered his gaze and watched as the gray stone in his hand dimd before shrinking slightly.

Scoffing, he tossed it back into his spatial ring and his lips curled in a mocking disgust-filled sneer of his own.

"The pot calling the kettle black..." he muttered and shook his head.

"At least the young man outside isn't a complete brain-dead buffoon like you, you wretched excuse for a Young Master."

A quiet chuckle dripping with mockery rumbled in his chest as he collected himself.

With unhurried movents, he withdrew the shadow wyvern hide from his spatial ring and let his fingers trail over the dark supple material.

His expression instantly shifted into one of exaggerated fatigue as if he had just spent an exhausting amount of ti searching for it.

Plastering a weary yet accomplished look onto his face, he turned and exited the room and stepped back into the main chamber where Ethan stood waiting.

Master Argos remained silent as he lowered himself onto the ground and settled within a slightly elevated circular platform.

The space was adorned with intricate and multicolored mystical patterns that shimred with latent elental energy mixed with sothing else that Ethan couldn't identify.

Ethan's eyes glead with curiosity and his focus was locked onto the enigmatic symbols surrounding the artificer.

The mont Master Argos placed his hands on two specific points on the ground at the sides of his waist, a brilliant glow erupted from the inscriptions.

Like fireworks bursting into the night, radiant streams of light shot through the pattern and illuminated the entire chamber.

A small fla flickered to life in midair before him.

Without hesitation, he solemnly lifted the shadow wyvern hide and let it slip from his grasp.

Yet, contrary to Ethan's expectations, the irregularly shaped pitch-black material did not fall to the ground.

Instead, it floated effortlessly and was drawn toward the hovering fla as if guided by unseen hands.

Then, Master Argos's fingers pulsed with radiant shifting colors and each of his fingertips glowed with a different hue.

The sheer mastery behind the next spectacle left Ethan montarily breathless.

With his eyes closed, the artificer began tracing in the air.

His glowing fingertips carved the outline of the Black Dragon Saber Ethan carried at his side.

Every motion was executed with astonishing precision and captured even the finest details.

Every edge, every curve, and every contour of the weapon was flawlessly recreated.

Within monts, a perfect four-foot-long virtual replica of the Black Dragon Saber hovered before him with its form shimring with an ethereal glow.

Ethan appeared quite entranced by the srizing display but he was anything but idle.

His superior soul sense hovered above the artificer like an unseen specter and scrutinized, morized, and analyzed each ticulous step.

Outwardly, however, he maintained his act and his expression was that of a naive onlooker who was utterly dumbstruck by the breathtaking display.

Master Argos then gestured toward the wyvern hide which now radiated a soft yet intense black luminescence under the refining influence of the multicolored magical flas.

As if obeying an unspoken command, the supple material drifted toward the luminous saber diagram.

It wrapped around the construct with effortless grace and conford to the saber's precise shape as it molded itself seamlessly to its ethereal counterpart.

Then, Master Argos began to murmur incomprehensible chants and his voice was a low hum that seed to resonate with the surrounding magic.

The multicolored virtual diagram flickered and phasing through the wyvern hide, it branded itself onto the surface with an ethereal glow.

Before Ethan's astonished gaze, the sheath underwent a final transformation and its surface shimred with multicolored hues as it stabilized into a completed masterpiece.

He swallowed hard and not out of awe for the sheath itself but for the breathtaking display of artificing that had unfolded before him.

In that instant, mories surfaced.

They were the visions of the Brighthorn Quill he had just glimpsed in the Adventurer's Guild just hours before and the Ebon Veil Cloak that Virelle had acquired two years ago in the underground auction beneath Scarlet Hollow City's Blood Chalice Tavern.1

Each of those mystical artifacts had held a sense of wonder but witnessing their creation firsthand evoked sothing deeper within him.

The sight of this enchanting process and the fusion of magic and craftsmanship sparked a long-simring desire within him.

At that mont, he made a firm decision that he would one day master this esteed profession.

The sheer artistry of creating such extraordinary objects resonated with him on a level he had never before considered.

anwhile, Master Argos examined the finished dark sheath in his hands and a trace of pride flickered in his eyes.
