Third Person’s POV

A woman erged from the darkness of the tear, carrying an unconscious man gently in her arms.

The mont she crossed the threshold, the spatial wound shrank rapidly behind her and vanished as if it had never existed.

It was none other than Nyx, who had finally arrived in one of the most perilous and rciless regions of the Aurora Frost Mountain Range in the Dark Star Continent, a place where even seasoned mages rarely dared to venture.

Nyx did not remain within the narrow canyon for long.

Without wasting any ti, she rose into the air and flew out of the icy ravine, her dark figure cutting through the swirling snowstorm like a silent shadow.

Monts later, she reached the peak of one of the two towering mountain summits that flanked the gorge.

The winds howled violently at that altitude, carrying sharp needles of snow that whipped against the jagged rocks and frozen cliffs, though they failed to penetrate the invisible spatial barrier that Nyx had constructed around herself and Ethan.

Hovering steadily above the peak, Nyx turned her gaze across the surrounding landscape.

Her golden eyes moved slowly, observing the endless sea of snow-covered mountains stretching toward the distant horizon.

At the sa ti, her senses expanded quietly as she began analysing the environnt around her.

She carefully asured the biting cold in the air and the dense concentration of ice elental energy perating the surroundings.

The currents of icy mana flowing through the mountains were powerful here as they swirled through the storm like invisible rivers of frost.

After several monts of observation, she finally confird what she had suspected.

This place was indeed one of the coldest locations within the entire Aurora Frost Mountain Range.

Nyx already knew that there was no single, absolutely coldest place within this vast and treacherous mountain region.

The climate shifted constantly depending on altitude, storm activity, and the flow of elental energy, but this particular gorge was perfect as the intensity of the cold here was exactly what Ethan needed.

It was powerful enough to suppress the curse spreading through his body, yet not so extre that it would slowly freeze him to death within a few days.

Satisfied with her conclusion, Nyx gave a small nod to herself and then descended again.

Her figure plunged back down into the icy gorge and disappeared into the swirling white storm as she travelled deeper and deeper between the towering cliffs of ice and stone.

After descending for so distance, she noticed sothing unusual.

Hidden along the frozen wall of the gorge was a narrow opening, an almost invisible hole carved into the ice.

It was not shallow and clearly led sowhere deeper.

Without hesitation, Nyx adjusted her course and entered the concealed passage.

For a brief mont, the tunnel swallowed her in darkness, but then faint light returned to her vision, and she found herself in a vast underground cavern.

Massive icy pillars rose from the frozen ground like colossal columns supporting the cavern’s ceiling far above.

The ceiling itself was covered with countless sharp ice stalactites, their crystalline tips reflecting faint blue light.

The pillars were enormous, and as Nyx flew across the cavern, even she felt unusually small in comparison, as if she were nothing more than a tiny insect moving between towering frozen monunts.

The cavern itself was dimly illuminated, and a soft blue glow spread throughout the chamber, emanating from clusters of faintly glowing stalactites embedded within the ceiling.

The light was cold and ghostly, giving the entire cavern an ancient and mysterious atmosphere.

Nyx slowly scanned her surroundings, and a faint trace of surprise flickered across her face as she beca almost certain that this place had once belonged to a powerful mage from ancient tis.

The structure of the cavern and the arrangent of the pillars suggested deliberate design rather than natural formation.

It had likely been a secret dwelling that had been hidden away from the outside world.

And judging from its current condition, the place had remained intact even after countless years had passed.

Her eyes lingered briefly on the glowing stalactites above, and she quickly recognised what they were.

They were Ice SoulStones, extrely rare crystals that were highly valued by ice-elent mages.

Such stones could greatly assist in mana gathering, accelerate recovery from injuries, and calm chaotic thoughts during activities such as deep ditation, spell studies, potion-making, rune design, and the creation of magic treasures.

For so many of them to exist here and be embedded casually into the cavern ceiling as re light sources was a clear sign of the ancient mage’s extravagance.

However, Nyx did not grow overly excited as this location was not particularly difficult to discover, and judging by the complete lack of defensive formations or protective restrictions at the entrance, she was almost certain that soone had already discovered this place long ago.

The original owner was probably long gone and lost to ti.

As these thoughts passed through her mind, Nyx continued flying deeper into the cavern, and soon, she reached its central area.

At the very heart of the underground chamber lay a large icy pond.

The sight imdiately caught her attention, and she found that despite the extre cold of the surrounding environnt, the water within the pond had not frozen.

Its surface remained perfectly still and crystal clear, reflecting the faint blue glow of the Ice Soul Stones above.

The contrast was almost unnatural.

In a place where even hardened stone would crack under the cold and where an ordinary person would freeze to death within seconds, this body of water remained completely liquid and calm.

Nyx hovered above the pond, studying it carefully and felt that sothing about it was far from ordinary.

But what shocked her even more was the small island that existed at the very centre of the icy pond.

Upon that tiny patch of frost-covered ground grew a single delicate plant, and from that plant blood a beautiful, crystal blue flower.

It was small and slender, its petals shaped like translucent shards of frozen glass, each one faintly glowing with a soft, icy radiance.
