The dagger plunged into the chest of one of the assassins. He stiffened montarily before collapsing to the ground.
"Not good! Soone’s attacking us!"
They exclaid in shock, quickly drawing their weapons and staring warily ahead.
Not far off, a tall figure approached. Yang Cheng’s eyes were icy, exuding an aura of killing intent.
"Release Cheng Ruonan, and I’ll spare your lives."
His voice was extrely cold, sending a shiver down their spines, raising every hair.
A subordinate checked the breath of the stabbed man and quickly reported, "Lord Gou Wen, he’s not breathing."
