Noticing his expression appeared pale, Kong Lingwen grew anxious, but didn’t speak to disturb him, promptly picked up clothes to cover him, adding more logs to the fire pit.
After briefly suppressing the Snake Source Qi, Yang Cheng abruptly rose, sat cross-legged on the mat, and began to deploy cultivation technique, resisting the backlash of the Snake Source Qi.

The green-glowing chilling aura turned remarkably lively, morphing into tiny streams, burrowing into every part of his body.
The intense pain compelled Yang Cheng to frown, worried Kong Lingwen might fret, he gritted his teeth refraining from uttering sound.
The agony resembled countless snakes biting through his skin, organs, and bones, forcibly nesting inside, all along accompanied by that chilling aura, provoking involuntary trembling in his body.
"Ah!!!"
Yang Cheng suddenly scread in anguish, his skin appeared threaded with densely packed green lines, resembling blood vessels but upon closer inspection found not to be.
