It begun to rain that morning. It woke up.
The mist, the cold air. It reminded of another land for a mont.
Nightmare still sleeps, healing her wounds. Only grazes and scratches thankfully. Blu grows her bulb anwhile.
I went outside the tent we made, alone.
Because of how skinny I’ve returned to be, I imdiately suffer from the cold air. I withstand it long enough to enjoy looking at the rain over the valley now misty, and listening to this soft music. I like it.
Blu drinks as any plant should. Nightmare seems to struggle waking up right now.
She’s dreaming.
Although this one seems unpleasant to her.
I go back to the bedding and lay my hands on her in a manner to reassure her while she sleeps, gently.
I can’t intrude into her thoughts like these daiûas can, but I can whisper to her that I’m here and she’s safe.
She does seem to calm down.
I have a glint of mory from a past that isn’t quite mine. Where I see as a child, tending to a feverish younger sister at night. It feels like a distant dream now.
That ghost of a very old past disappears under the music of the rain as swiftly as it ca to appear.
Nightmare wakes up, holding my hand. She notices it and seems surprised. I greet her good morning first.
R – What were you dreaming about?
N – Wild beasts... Nothing interesting.
R – Everything is interesting...
She knows. She evolves.

I explore the surroundings while they work on their wings. The forest nearby is lush enough to be called a jungle. There’s almost no plant nor bug that I recognise around here.
And the geological wonders, not obvious as you walk around them, like an ant around a house. The cliffs where light doesn’t flow in straight lines bend perception of space.
We’re deep enough in the heavy air that it stretches the sight of the horizon weirdly. Light being twisted and curled around, it makes distant object appear even more weird now than we’re below the surface of the flow.
It makes the course of the sun in the sky utterly queer as well. The sun appears broken in patches that move almost independently as they all globally make their course through the sky, slightly erratically.
I saw the sun appear as two, a few tis, but never quite as uneven stains and patches like it appears around here.
There are wonders to behold all around us.
And still sohow, there is now one expectation that teases more than the oddities of these landscapes and flora.
That is the things, they, will create. Before we begin our ascension of this hollow structure that is a few kilotres high at least.
What kind of wings will these two create for themselves?
From Blu, I expect nothing that I haven’t seen before.
From Night, I expect a giant bird to hatch from her gore workshop.
I did suggest to them to work together to create sothing that goes beyond our wildest dreams. Unfortunately, they preferred not to this ti.
Another ti, another day.

Blu looks like her old self after a few days of growth in the very fertile soil. A red nightmarish patch of jungle with giant dandelions mushrooms, and vines everywhere. They twitch and move when you’re there.
R – You’ve grown so fast.
B – This soil is ideal. Many other plants would love it.
One of her tree grows these orange plums that are very nutritious for . I pluck so and go see how my new sister is doing.
A little further along the stream, it’s Nightmare’s bloody workshop.
She stands there, very deeply focused. At her feet lies a large puddle of warm mud. A bog.
Blu grows fruits. Nightmare works with warm liquids in the cradle of earth.
Orbs of what I know are experints on blood elixirs are lying in the grass around her.
R – How is it going, sis?
N – Very well. I think.
R – What will this bird look like?
N – I’m keeping that as a surprise.
One of her shoulders twitches. She’s tensed as if her body was physically working. I rember feeling that strain on occasions. Magic may be magic, but it still works through our body and consus your own biological energy along.
Nightmare points at the leftovers of a beast a little further.
N – I’ve kept the liver for you. And so venison. Go eat it before it spoils.
She’s so kind. I nod and proceed.
I make the liver fry while I nibble on pieces of the raw muscle. It’s very nice and tender red at.
Judging by the taste, it was not an animal I’m used to.
Looking at the bones starting to decay, I guess it was either a kind of small horse or a giant but weird dog. I like it’s taste anyway.
I don’t think she resurrected that one as a child, but I won’t complain about it.

I’ve noticed.
They both feed generously with what they’re best at.
And I’m getting much better despite the absence of Blu thanks to them.
To so extent, they know parts of my body, how it works and what it needs, far better than I ever would.
My knowledge of tabolic processes and enzys is barebones. To them, it’s an art and a science they have their intuitive and deep understanding of. The way I would craft or paint sothing, or assemble a jigsaw puzzle, they craft biology and arrange tabolic pathways.
Even on currently, with how they feed , and care for . I rarely get ill, and the loss of flesh from Blu splitting from my body is already as if it never happened.
I explore the surroundings gently and enjoy the sceneries, while they play at being as gods.

We all grow our own way and enjoy it.
My body recovered a strength and energy it didn’t have for quite a while.
Blu crafts her monstrous although flowery winged self. Nightmare creates an abomination of unknown shape and form. It bet it will have bird features though. Big wings.
And together, we’ll climb to the summit edges, reaching the sky of Eldorado.
