(Rose)
I didn’t have enough ti to think. Retrospectively, so choices I make aren’t always the smartest. I should have tried to use more fire right away. Even in the corridor, to slow our pursuer down.
In monts of panic, what is done is done, and ti to think collapses.
I should have done things differently... But thankfully all that matters is that we’re alive today.
I wake up in a sudden tremor as Nok fell over sothing whilst carrying .
~
My left leg is reduced to a rather clean bone and the ss I made short below the knee.
All around is a dark leather. She fell. I’m breathing a little heavily, still very dizzy, but I’ll survive. I touch her and call her. She twitches.
Huge limbs move all around , until a huge face shows herself over . It’s her, you, alright.
R – My, how you’ve grown...
And Blu woke up. I can hear her in the distance. She’s concerned about us, and even more about my bad sense of humour, now of all tis.
Nokarlık can’t hear Blu in her head. She’s far more worried about . She’s still so young... I’m sorry.
Her big eyes tear up and rain tears in front of like a shower. I manage to sit at least, to show her I’ll be fine.
Terrifying mistakes happen sotis...
Death can co in a few heartbeats in this world if you’re not careful.
R – Still, I want you to remain curious, okay? We’ll go on other adventures as soon as I can walk again.
Nokarlık drops her face close enough for my hand to touch her nose.
She’s warm, and massive.
I’ve seen beings-like-her transform before, but they’ve always been artificial bodies. Puppets without weight, or barely any structure.
She’s still an organism, a warm blooded animal with presence and weight all over, independent from T.I. mostly.
Obviously not entirely otherwise this would be straight impossible. She still has human proportions in her shape, but she’s grown in mass manifold. How can that be?
I just don’t understand the underlying chanisms Nightmare built in her that allows that.
It’s relatively easy for flesh to grow through cellular reproduction, but for bones? It’s much slower than what she just displayed. It’s sothing else entirely here.
And what about the reduction in size and weight then? It’s bound to be linked to the way she can drink hundreds of litres of water.
R – Nok, show your mouth?
She brushes so tears and opens her mouth to like a gate. It slls of her inside.
It’s all normal, just in different size.
I touch one of her black rubbery teeth.
Blu, can you see what’s inside that tooth? Inside her bones? I have a hunch.
Nothing should prevent her teeth from making enal. It’s just that her mother had another idea that needed to get rid of that material.
An insane change that was overall worth it. I crawl back and let her close her mouth.
R – Her bones, all of them down to her teeth, are made of an exotic material utilizing T.I... Isn’t it?
B – It seems very likely. It’s discreet.
An artefact. A biological rock, condensing power, and matter, in another way.
The pure essence of life as well. Nightmare managed to create the perfect bridge between our two spectrums of life. And she gave Nok the ability to store ridiculously huge amounts of flesh and water in an immaterial way.
It’s not even nuclear fusion, nor even quantum superposition, because even her weight can change.
It’s even beyond.
She has organs that can transform all of her flesh and probably rubbery bones, into a structured T.I, storing this potential inside her bones. And so organs, the sa ones or others, can release this potential matter back into baryons very rapidly.
It’s like her bones are holes, magical holes, to store water and flesh. She has an innate ability to translate matter into T.I, while conserving its structural information.
And she can grow unrestricted... Her body has information to do so. It’s not just genetic now, it’s hybrid.
How big could she actually beco in that unlimited space?
Because unlike fermions, T.I. can be accumulated in space without quantum. So I’m not sure there’s a clear limit...
Nokaranlık has a biological way to store things beyond the normal limits of matter, and I can’t see where the limit would be.
I’m agape, fascinated, and a little overwheld at the extent of what I begin to grasp.
But for now, I can hardly move and she’s scared. My poor child suffered a shock as well.
I ask her to co closer for a hug.
Her confusion is visible, but her body obeys rather easily. She begins to shrink rapidly.
I see her hair seemingly grow back as she shrinks down.
She stops however while she’s till at least three or four tres tall. Why? She’s still teary.
She kneels down and grabs , holding from my shoulders and thighs, soon carrying in her arms like she would an injured cat.
She kept a size where she realised it would be easier for her to carry around. I’m impressed. Shocked even. I wasn’t thinking about that.
I caress her cheek as I get held close to her chest. It’s very odd a feeling to be carried in a cradle position by a giant daughter.
R – You’re smart Nok! I’m proud of you.
She manages to smile through her fears. I scared her so much... And she’s growing so fast.
Very carefully, she walks us back ho to Blu.
~
Blu is still mostly focused on her own survival. But realizing what happened, she went out of her way to help nonetheless.
As Nokarlık brought inside, we could see that Blu had grown ominous pods of flesh and fruits around the bed where we sleep.
Nok was actually scared by that, but I reassured her.
R – It’s aunt Blu. She’s helping to heal.
B – It’s even surrogate mother Blu.
I don’t know what that is but I’ll ask another ti. For now I just want to rest.
Nokarlık shrinks back to her normal size. Or her usual size at least, after putting to bed.
Blu gently invades the bed, swarming around my leg. Nokarlık lies down with , still stressed.
I thank them both heartfuly.
