Facing his brother's questioning, Wang Qiang appeared indifferent. He raised his hand skyward, then, drawing out the tone in sheer impatience, said, "I gotta pee, is there a problem?"

After speaking, as if feeling that wasn't enough to convey his point, he simply stopped walking, loosened the belt from his waist, and right there in the midst of everyone, brazenly took out the "Gatling Vulcan cannon" from his crotch and started a figurative "blast bombardnt" towards the field in front of him.

Refreshing! As the "ammo" continued to cascade out, Wang Qiang felt an unprecedented comfort, so much so that he leisurely started humming, "The wind is roaring, the horses are growling, the Yellow River is raging, the Yellow River is raging!"

The sound gradually grew louder, and as he sang with feeling, Wang Qiang actually started roaring.

This left Hu Xiaodong, who was far off on the car roof, smiling a bitter smile in silence.

Honestly, if he hadn't already gotten used to the young man's quirky personality throughout the journey, given Hu Xiaodong's temperant, he would probably have rushed over and kicked the latter on the butt by now.

What a joke, leaving the group at this critical mont is one thing, but to actually dare to "howl like a ghost," this is clearly pointing out that this place is too peaceful!

Unlike Hu Xiaodong's silence, Tang Xiaoquan imdiately responded, "Enough! Qiang-zi! Shut your mouth!"

The sound stopped abruptly, unexpectedly Wang Qiang did not continue.

With his "ammo" depleted, he couldn't help but shudder, and once he holstered the "Gatling" back into his "arsenal," he swaggered toward his own team's line as if nothing had happened.

However...

One step, two steps, three steps… when Wang Qiang was about to take the fourth step, his movent suddenly halted, then he quickly spun around, his eyes suspiciously scanning the place where he had just been 'engaged' in a battle.

There's nothing! In Wang Qiang's eyes, aside from the golden rice stalks swaying in the wind, there was absolutely nothing else.

What's wrong with ! Wang Qiang was also amazed by his own dramatic reaction! Yet what he could confirm was that just now, just as he was about to lift his foot, he indeed sensed a presence—a kind of instinct refined through life-and-death ordeals. He felt as though sothing behind him was closely watching him! But faced with the reality...?

Scratching his head in self-mockery, Wang Qiang, who never liked delving deep, quickly attributed this reflex to being tense.

So he paid it no mind, and after a couple of self-mocking chuckles, he resud his swagger toward the team.

Seeing his brother still showing a nonchalant expression, Tang Xiaoquan's anger intensified.

You have to understand, he can disregard the other's nonsensical way of speaking daily; he can overlook his lax behavior when taking action!

But without rules, a square cannot be ford. You violated the rules and still aren't remorseful, maintaining such an arrogant attitude—Tang Xiaoquan absolutely cannot accept this.

His gaze gradually beca stern, Tang Xiaoquan's solemn face was tightly drawn together. He knew he had to say sothing; otherwise, the factory district's regulations listed will beco aningless like scrap paper!

Stepping boldly forward by two steps, just as Tang Xiaoquan opened his mouth to speak, he was unexpectedly stuck frozen, and after several seconds of hesitation, he suddenly shouted as if possessed, "Qiang-zi, you..."

What ca after "you" Tang Xiaoquan actually said, Wang Qiang didn't catch at all, because the sudden words from the forr genuinely startled him. So much so, he stumbled and fell forward to the ground.

"Whew!" Almost simultaneously with Wang Qiang's fall, a sharp gust of wind whistled past his back.

He could clearly feel the hem of his clothing flapping noisily under the influence of the gust.

Getting up, lifting his head, Wang Qiang instinctively looked ahead, and this single glance seed to plunge him into an icy pit.

Blood-red eyes, sharp claws, low growls burst coldly from between its cracked teeth.

Only now did Wang Qiang finally understand what his brother was trying to say earlier—he was warning him: there's a Zombie Dog right behind!

No wonder he had such a strange feeling earlier; turns out this beast had its eyes on him.

Regretting not sticking to his initial thoughts, Wang Qiang no longer had the idea of "playing with a zombie dog" this ti. He lay motionless amidst the rice stalks, his eyes firmly set on the Zombie Dog in front.

You must know everything happened so swiftly earlier that by the ti everyone detected the Zombie Dog's presence, it was already too late to aid Wang Qiang.

Considering the current situation, in such a one-on-one setup, the unard Wang Qiang undeniably has no ans of resisting.

anwhile, the appearance of the Zombie Dog also made the won scream in terror, just like cooking a chaotic stew, having completely forgotten the counterasures Hu Xiaodong taught them last night about facing unexpected situations.

Sweat uncontrollably dripped down his cheeks, Tang Xiaoquan was frozen in place, he attempted to distract the Zombie Dog's attention with curses, but the beast seed to see through his ploy, remaining indifferent to anything except Wang Qiang.

Clearly, it's quite determined to confront Wang Qiang once, although it's unclear if it's seeking revenge for "the death of a companion" from earlier, Tang Xiaoquan knew one thing for sure. If he doesn't find a way to get rid of this beast soon, his brother's life will be dood.

Estimating the distance between himself and the Zombie Dog, Tang Xiaoquan gauged it should be less than a ter. Under such almost fingertip-close proximity, if he had a long-range weapon like a Long Spear, he could use the chance of the beast having its back turned, to exploit its visual blind spots for a surprise attack.

Regrettably, "if only" is rely hypothetical, not reality, so with a kitchen knife in hand, Tang Xiaoquan couldn't implent the ideal plan.

What to do! At this mont, Tang Xiaoquan truly felt helpless; having no alternative, he only had the option of throwing the knife.

The knife blade raised a chilling flash in the air, then accurately hit the target, but unfortunately, it didn't manage to pierce through the Zombie Dog's skull.

And for zombified mutant species, any attacks unable to destroy their brain central system are futile and aningless.

Therefore, Tang Xiaoquan's actions not only didn't achieve the goal of killing the Zombie Dog but also, to so extent, provoked its inherent bloodthirsty nature.

Under the stimulus of the infection, the digging frequency of the Zombie Dog accelerated further, even its low growls were gradually increasing in volu.

Undoubtedly, all signs were indicating that it was about to launch a fatal attack on Wang Qiang!!
