The subordinates started to ticulously inspect the supplies the survivor had brought. Considering the trade would still take so ti, after confirming the two 30-liter barrels of oil in Wang Qiang's hand, Old Zhao proposed a phased approach.

Not wanting to waste ti either, Huang Yong briskly headed straight to the top floor of the office building.

When he reached outside a room, he stopped, looked back, and upon seeing only Tang Xiaoquan, he imdiately frowned and asked, "Are you going in alone?"

Tang Xiaoquan replied ambiguously, "Uh... Zhao and the others are dealing with the trade downstairs. I ca up first, and once they're done, they'll co up too."

Nodding impatiently, Huang Yong looked a bit displeased, "Alright, got it. But let be clear, I don't have much ti to wait for them. Are you going in now or not?"

"Of course, I'm going in!" Tang Xiaoquan agreed without any hesitation. At this mont, his mind was only focused on one thing: eting the target individual as soon as possible and getting the whereabouts of his parents from him.

"Wait a minute!" Huang Yong raised his hand to stop Tang Xiaoquan from entering the room, "I haven't finished speaking yet. What's the rush?"

Tang Xiaoquan awkwardly took two steps back and apologized, "I'm really sorry, I was being hasty. Is there anything else you'd like to instruct, Mr. Huang?"

Huang Yong gave Tang Xiaoquan a stern look and said solemnly, "Listen carefully, the young man's health inside isn't great, so once you're in, focus on the main points. Don't co back complaining if he falls unconscious from discomfort, because I don't accept 'returns', got it?"

"Understood! Understood! Rest assured, Mr. Huang. I will prioritize my questions to avoid wasting ti and I won't go back on my word." Tang Xiaoquan felt sowhat resigned making this promise, as not only Huang Yong, but even his family in the villa had reminded him to prepare beforehand and focus on key questions.

Yet in reality, he wasn't even sure if this young man had stayed in the stadium shelter, so how could he pre-consider exact questions?

To him, the only reliable thod was to gauge by observing after a face-to-face encounter with the young man, and adapt accordingly.

With a confird response, Huang Yong finally opened the room door.

After letting Tang Xiaoquan in, Huang Yong followed closely behind and then closed the door behind them.

Upon entering the room, Tang Xiaoquan felt a sense of déjà vu about the layout. It wasn't until he slled the pervasive scent of dical alcohol in the air that he realized why it felt so familiar.

It turned out that a month before the outbreak, a leader in their company needed surgery for appendicitis. It was a rare opportunity to curry favor and build a relationship, although Tang Xiaoquan wasn't too fond of such superficial interactions. Being a small IT service worker, he didn't expect to rise to prosperity.

But just because he didn't want to, didn't an others were as rigid. At least their departnt manager was an exception. The day after the leader's surgery, the departnt manager sohow got wind of it.

To cover up the visit, he cleverly pulled along Tang Xiaoquan and other subordinates to visit the city's most reputable tertiary hospital.

For this, Tang Xiaoquan, albeit grudgingly, contributed 400 yuan to the pot, though ultimately it was given to the leader in the manager's na.

Not long after, the sycophantic manager achieved his desired transfer and promotion to headquarters.

But Tang Xiaoquan and others, who visited with him, still remained at their original positions.

But right now, Tang Xiaoquan had no ti to think about all this. He just felt that the current room's setup resembled the VIP ward he once visited.

Although he didn't recognize the dical instrunts in the room, he could vaguely identify them by looks.

And if he rembered correctly, colleagues had gossiped online and found out that the VIP ward cost over 2000 yuan per day, nearly half his monthly inco.

However, this room seed even more luxurious than the VIP room.

Rather than calling it a dical care room, it might as well be a small holy space with dical equipnt.

From a wall-mounted projection TV, a double-door refrigerator, to a high-end leather sofa—whatever you could think of for daily living, this room had it all. And by this, it was clear the room was rather spacious.

Seeing Tang Xiaoquan curiously looking around, Huang Yong spoke up, "This is our President Liu's private dical room. It's also used for treating any sudden ailnts of the brothers downstairs. I'm telling you, the dical skills here are no worse than the city's top hospitals, so... huh, that young man got lucky. If he hadn't t us, he would've been dead on the street by now."

In Huang Yong's words, his implication was clear—they found and treated the young man.

And you, Tang Xiaoquan, are exchanging for information on your parents' whereabouts with just two barrels of oil. It's a profitable deal for you.

Unfortunately, while Huang Yong thought deeply, Tang Xiaoquan wasn't thinking that much at all.

"Let's go, stop dawdling! The young man you're looking for is inside!" After explaining, Huang Yong didn't want to waste any more ti. He pointed and, regardless of whether Tang Xiaoquan reacted, pushed him forward forcefully.

Since entering the room, Tang Xiaoquan remained puzzled. There was no doubt the room was ant for dical purposes, yet in the vast space, there wasn't a single hospital bed. Instead, high-end leather sofas ford a circle. It wasn't until Huang Yong pulled aside a glass screen partition...

A hidden space! Tang Xiaoquan couldn't believe that there was another room within this seemingly large space, but after thinking about it, he understood. People of Liu Fugui's stature, if sothing were to happen, many would visit, so the outer decoration was likely for those visitors to rest.

Truly, one had to admit, the rich were different; even a personal dical facility was so luxurious.

Just as Tang Xiaoquan was sighing to himself, a male voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Huang Yong, who is this?" (To be continued. If you like this work, please co to Qidian (qidian) to vote for recomndation or monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please read at m.qidian.)
