"This child is becoming more and more unruly!"

Liu Fugui felt embarrassed in front of his subordinates due to Liu Yunpeng's disregard, but he indeed lacked effective ways to deal with his precious son.

It's quite regrettable; while Liu Fugui has the capability to manage a huge corporation, he can't educate his only son properly.

This leaves him quite troubled. He's reluctant to hit his son, and scolding hardly has any effect, so he can only let Liu Yunpeng be.

'Sigh~' Liu Fugui sighed inwardly, turning to Huang Yong beside him, saying, "Huang Yong, send soone to check what Yunpeng is in such a hurry for, make sure he doesn't cause any trouble again."

Huang Yong nodded and whispered a few words to his subordinate, who imdiately went to carry out the order.

"President Liu, everything is arranged. If anything happens, you will be inford at the first mont."

"Good, that's preferable!" Liu Fugui tilted his neck slightly out of frustration.

Huang Yong tily pulled out a chair for him, and snapped his fingers to have the al served.

Eggs, once a common item in ordinary households before the apocalypse, are now absolutely rare products.

Being able to have one egg every day, like Liu Fugui does, is unimaginably luxurious.

Of course, this is thanks to Liu Fugui's chicken farm. Even he didn't expect that having a large piece of vacant land led him to impulsively start raising chickens as a sideline.

Who would have thought that this casual decision, previously not bringing much profit, beca a stable source of food in the apocalypse.

Liu Fugui, being a wise strategist, also understands the real value of his chickens and ducks, so he arranged special 24-hour guard rotations at the site.

Yet, this suffers for the guards assigned here; imagine dealing with chickens and ducks all day long, the stench is nauseating enough on its own. But worse is not being able to eat the plump poultry while always being hungry—this job is sheer torture!

After Liu Fugui finished his sumptuous breakfast, it was already 8:30 AM. Huang Yong couldn't afford to fill his own stomach, as he hurriedly followed Liu Fugui down to the 2nd floor, back to his office.

People might think Liu Fugui's left and right arms are unimaginably glamorous, but actually, in so respects, they can't even live as freely as the subordinates.

Take sothing as simple as eating, for instance—Huang Yong can only find a suitable ti to quickly nibble after Liu Fugui finishes his al.

He's responsible for Liu Fugui's safety, while ordinary subordinates don't have those restricting rules.

In a sense, the world is still sowhat fair; it gives you supre status while taking away certain things—perhaps that's the balance.

After entering the room, Liu Fugui reclined on the sofa, closed his eyes slightly, and said, "Huang Yong, you've had a rough morning, hurry and get sothing to eat."

Huang Yong understood he was being dismissed, but he had matters to discuss, so he softly asked, "President Liu, regarding Qiao Shan's matter, what should we do next?"

Huang Yong was asking about handling the survivors on the hill; not to ntion, the two followers from last ti are his trusty subordinates, and as their boss, he should act.

Upon hearing this, Liu Fugui slowly opened his eyes, stared at Huang Yong for a while, before leisurely uttering a few words, "Put it aside for now!"

This made Huang Yong anxious. Qiao Shan made it clear; he returned to demand an attitude; otherwise, his subordinate at the opponent's camp might encounter disaster without a response from the Factory.

After all, they're his followers; Huang Yong was reluctant and said, "President Liu, if we keep postponing, I'm afraid..."

"Afraid it will endanger your subordinate, right?" Liu Fugui accurately pointed out Huang Yong's concern, and Huang Yong dared not hide but refrained from bluntly stating it, only changing his approach:

"President Liu, I'm mainly worried that our actions might chill the brothers below, making them mistakenly believe we disregard the lives of those going out!"

Such words from Huang Yong were evidently heavy; realizing his lapse afterward, he hastily changed the topic, "Moreover, President Liu, haven't you always emphasized our Factory lacks manpower and planned to recruit these folks?"

Liu Fugui raised his eyebrows, replied sowhat displeased, "Humph, I'd like to see who dares claim I disregard my brothers' safety. Huang Yong, my inaction has its reasons. I believe if this group genuinely wants to join us, they wouldn't harm your subordinate. Conversely, if they did, it proves they're not good people; thus, I should never accept them."

"Then... President Liu's aning is?"

"Simple! As we are currently, we cannot swallow all 20 survivors. You must rember we are to accept controllable and utilizable people, like Yao Ruyi. If my man on the hill faces mishap, it reveals one thing—their motives are impure. While our warehouse guards aren't afraid of attacks, whether they can serve us goes beyond simple yes or no. Thus, I told you to put this matter aside, to observe their responses."

"Oh... so that's it!" Huang Yong nodded silently, feeling admiration yet cursing internally.

After all, Liu Fugui was effectively making sacrifices of Huang Yong's n. But there's no choice; however resentful, Huang Yong cannot change this reality.

Perhaps after contemplating the inadequacy of his plan, Liu Fugui spoke again, "So, Huang Yong, if Qiao Shan asks about it later, say I'm drafting acceptance arrangents. If the opposition contacts him privately, ensure he delivers any ssage to imdiately. anwhile, you must watch Qiao Shan and He Lei closely over this period, don't let them exit the factory alone!"

"Yes, President Liu!" Understanding Liu Fugui's intentions, Huang Yong could only keep nodding where he had no alternative.

As the other closed his eyes again, Huang Yong bowed slightly and said, "President Cheng, please rest. I'll go have a al."

Then stepped out of the chairman's office.

Old Zhao drove quickly on rural roads. Unquestionably, the previously wide urban roads are now overly congested with abandoned vehicles, incomparable to the rural roads with fewer cars and people. Though rural road conditions aren't as perfect as urban, in terms of transit efficiency, they far surpass urban roads.

Old Zhao increased the accelerator speed, as surroundings flew past rapidly. Suddenly a black shadow flashed across the front, catching him off guard, unable to react. He could only instinctively step on the brake pedal, making an ergency stop. (To be continued.
