With combined effort, they moved the body to the balcony, and the reappearance of the survivors undoubtedly made the zombies below "scream" repeatedly!

Anyway, with such a distance, there was no need to worry about those beasts being able to attack them. Suddenly, Wang Qiang, in a playful mood, started waving his arms.

"Hey, you idiots down there, how are you?"

"Roar!"

"Louder, I can’t hear you! Tell , are you excited to see the young master?"

"Roar!"

"Roar my ass, so quiet! Didn’t you guys eat..."

"Smack!" His head was suddenly knocked from behind, and Wang Qiang instinctively turned around, only to see Tang Xiaoquan angrily glaring at him with fiery eyes:

"You, what are you doing?"

Perhaps realizing the inappropriateness of his actions, Wang Qiang awkwardly shrank his head.

"Eh?" Not wanting to say much about Wang Qiang’s reckless temperant, Tang Xiaoquan sighed helplessly and then pointed at the corpse on the ground with a forced smile: "Hmph, nothing, just asking you to help with work!"

Though the corpse had been mangled by the zombies, combined with the quilt wrapped around it, its weight had increased significantly.

With so effort, Tang Xiaoquan and Wang Qiang lifted the body over the railing, starting to swing it rhythmically.

The quilt-covered corpse made a "whoosh" sound in the air, and driven by inertia, its swinging got wider and wider, moving farther from the railing.

Seeing the force was sufficient, Tang Xiaoquan gave Wang Qiang a look, indicating for him to get ready.

After getting confirmation from him, he shouted loudly:

"One! Two! Three!"

"Throw!" They shouted almost simultaneously, releasing their hold, and the quilt-wrapped body flew outward.

In the sunlight, the blood-stained quilt spun and tumbled in the air, finally falling under the influence of gravity.

A commotion followed, as the zombies naturally couldn’t understand what was wrapped inside the quilt.

To them, this object, faintly filled with human scent, was thrown down by the prey above, so...

The beasts eagerly scrambled for a piece of rotten at wrapped in a quilt, while Wang Qiang, watching from above, wore a silly grin.

"Hey! If you’re planning to continue chatting about life goals out there with them, then I’m going inside first!" Pretending to close the door, Tang Xiaoquan listened closely for any sound behind him.

Sure enough! Before he could make his next move, Wang Qiang had already darted inside, raising his middle finger with a disdainful expression.

Back inside, Hu Xiaodong and others had already used mops, cloths, and such to clean the blood-stained bedroom, but because the blood had been solidified for too long, and most of it was splattered on the walls, living in this room didn’t seem optimistic at the mont.

So, they finally decided to make the living room their resting place. Anyway, in the height of sumr, sleeping anywhere would do, as long as it’s cool!

As for the old bedroom, it was still tightly closed off.

After a quick shower to clean up, they changed into fresh clothes again, and with this change, Wen Quanxin finally regained his usual playfulness, teasing Tang Xiaoquan and the others in their new clothes with a mischievous smile: "Look at you guys, having so many clothes is such a luxury!"

Gathering back in the living room, they rearranged the sofas into a square shape, pulling a wooden table from the other room to the center, setting up a makeshift dining table.

For the six n at the mont, as long as they could get by with it, nothing else mattered.

"A’cheng! When will our feast be ready?" Wang Qiang, lying back like a deflated balloon, mumbled weakly with his mouth half-open.

Not just him, the others were also languishing due to their rumbling stomachs.

They hadn’t felt it while working earlier, but once they stopped to rest, hunger overtook their entire being.

"Coming! It’s ready!"

Saying that, A’cheng’s thin figure appeared before everyone.

Except, no one was interested in his physique at this mont; their focus was wholly on the stainless steel pot he carried on his chest.

"Clang!" The heavy bottom of the pot hit the table, making a dull thud.

Wang Qiang instinctively swallowed, his Adam’s apple moving involuntarily.

The lid was lifted! A fragrant aroma of noodles wafted into their noses, making them close their eyes and indulge montarily.

There’s nothing more blissful than a hearty al after surviving such hardships!

Wen Quanxin casually fished out two cans from his bag, one of which was a can of sardines, whose subtle, fernted bean aroma was palpable.

The other was luncheon at, a godsend to the survivors who hadn’t had at for days.

Wu Chao similarly rummaged through his backpack, producing a crinkling sound, and when he laid it on the table, it turned out to be a bag of five-spice peanuts.

"Heh heh, looks like everyone had quite the haul!" Wang Qiang touched his nose, stood up babbling, grabbed the last sack he had scavenged, and said mysteriously: "We’ve got the main course, got the side dish, but what’s it without this?"

Speaking so, he placed a luxuriously packaged bottle of Sheng Shi Jian Nan Chun on the table.

Wu Chao’s eyes lit up; he laughed aloud, clearly a man who loved his drink: "Great job, Qiang! Well done!"

Tang Xiaoquan shook his head speechlessly. If he had known that his brother prioritized scavenging such frivolous items over the team’s safety, he wouldn’t have given him a pleasant look.

But now... after so much hardship, maybe his fellow survivors really needed a drink to temporarily forget the troubles and horrors of the apocalypse.

A’cheng took charge of serving the noodles, while Wang Qiang handled the distribution of alcohol, and once both tasks were done, Wu Chao raised his glass and signaled for silence: "Now, we need so words for drinking. I suggest letting Brother Hu say a few words to kick us off! What do you all think?"

"Good, good! Brother Hu, say a few words!" Not wanting to miss the excitent, Wen and Wang imdiately echoed in agreent at Wu Chao’s suggestion.

Tang Xiaoquan originally wanted to intervene, as he had noticed Hu Xiaodong’s unusual deanor since returning indoors.

But on second thought, he refrained, believing that the lively atmosphere might bring a change in Hu Xiaodong after all.

The atmosphere was lively, but Hu Xiaodong sat motionless like a clay sculpture. After a mont, he slowly lifted his head...
