Just a re fifteen ters away from the dungeon entrance’s rift, Helen hovered on the wyvern.

The great winged beast, which usually moved with an imposing grace in the heights, began to flap its wings erratically and move clumsily through the air the instant it noticed Ryan’s proximity.

"Hey, hey, listen to for once!" Helen shouted from the beast’s back, pulling the reins with all her strength and trying to control the wyvern’s destabilized flight.

’But what the hell are they doing?’ Ryan thought, stopping in mid-air as he observed the scene with the total calmness of soone watching a small child’s antics.

The wyvern, making an effort, advanced while stumbling through the air toward Ryan.

Upon noticing that he remained floating right in front of them, Helen looked up and her eyes lit up with absolute joy.

"Hey! Ryan, you are finally back!" Helen shouted, looking completely unconcerned about the evident instability of the wyvern as the beast approached Ryan.

Helen had a massive smile drawn across her face. She was so excited about her leader’s return that, when she was just a few scant ters away in the air.

She simply let go of the reins and leaped with her arms wide open directly toward Ryan, completely abandoning the safety of her mount.

Ryan contemplated the warrior’s reckless action and let out a sigh laden with profound resignation.

"You never stop being so reckless, huh?" Ryan said softly.

Ryan moved to the side in mid-air and cleanly dodged Helen’s body.

The S-rank warrior flew right past his side, opening her eyes in absolute surprise upon realizing that she had absolutely nothing to grab onto, beginning to plumt straight down.

"I will see you down below, inside the dungeon." Ryan said with a calm voice as he continued his descent toward the rift.

’Although I think she didn’t even hear because of the wind.’

"But why did you dodge ?!"

Helen plumted into the void screaming.

Ryan crossed the glowing threshold of the sky dungeon’s rift. And he landed softly upon the stone floor.

Right on the other side of the entrance stood Alicia, who slightly twitched her wolf ears upon noticing the disturbance in the portal, and by her side was Mirian, leaning against one of the structure’s columns.

"Your Majesty!" Alicia pronounced imdiately, bowing into a perfect and respectful formal reverence.

"Ryan, you ca back fast." Mirian said, walking toward him and naturally sticking to his side.

However, upon looking up and carefully observing his features, her expression changed into one of total confusion.

"Did everything go well in the city? Why do you have your usual black-haired appearance? Did you perhaps lose the camouflage relics?"

"It broke last night while I was at the inn. I will have to go to the forge and ask Runa to make so much more durable relics."

Ryan looked around him.

"I saw Helen flying around outside, but what are you guys doing here?"

"That idiot Helen insisted on saying she was bored inside the village and went out to explore the surroundings riding on the wyvern. Alicia and I are only here just in case that crazy girl did sothing reckless on the outside that would give away the refuge."

’Yeah, that is completely typical of her.’

"You two cause a lot of problems for Alicia." Ryan comnted, looking at Mirian.

"But Ryan, it’s Helen, the bla for all of this is entirely on her." Mirian defended herself imdiately, puffing out her cheeks.

"I only tried to stop her from crossing the rift, but she completely ignored my warnings."

"No... do not worry about that, Your Majesty. It hasn’t been a bother to at all, it is my duty to ensure the safety of the heroes." Alicia said with a bitter smile, subtly averting her gaze and avoiding eye contact with Ryan.

"Ryan! You are so cruel to ! Why the hell did you let drop like that?!" Helen grumbled, rushing in through the dungeon’s rift mounted on the wyvern’s back.

The winged beast landed with a heavy sonic impact on the stone floor. Helen jumped off the animal’s back before it ca to a complete stop and ran, landing right in front of Ryan.

Aggressively invading his personal space, her face completely red from indignation and throwing a tantrum.

"Huh, it is entirely your fault for being so reckless out there." Ryan responded slowly, looking down at her from above with total superiority.

"You should learn to control yourself a little more."

"And what would you have done if the wyvern hadn’t saved at the last second?" Helen demanded, crossing her arms and giving the ground a light stomp.

"At that height of the fall, I would have died from the impact!"

"I knew perfectly well that Vel would go catch you, she reacts fast." Ryan said in a bored tone, downplaying the matter.

"So stop complaining so much."

Helen blinked a couple of tis, left completely bewildered by his words.

"Vel? When did you give the wyvern a na?" Helen asked, losing a part of her anger due to the surprise.

Mirian, upon seeing the foolish look that had been left on her S-rank companion’s face, couldn’t hold it back any longer and began to laugh out loud, covering her mouth with her hand.

"What the hell are you laughing at!" Helen yelled at her, turning toward her with clenched fists.

Ryan completely ignored the usual bickering of the two heroines and took a step forward, placing himself beside Alicia to resu the serious affairs of the village.

"Alicia, did anything relevant happen while I was gone?" Ryan asked.

"No, Your Majesty. Everything remains in perfect order." Alicia responded, recovering her upright composure.

"All the elves and beastn are working arduously in the village."

"Huh, so it is like that. Excellent." Ryan comnted, feeling a deep wave of satisfaction.

"Well, let’s go inside, there are a lot of things to do and organize for the upcoming days."

"Yes, Your Majesty. Of course." Alicia added, beginning to walk in front to guide him down the stone hallway.

"By the way, I have personally consulted with Runa and Mika about your great interest in developing magic relics that will allow us to communicate long-distance."

Ryan raised an eyebrow, showing an imdiate interest in the assistant’s report.

"And what did they say about it?"

"Both of them were incredibly excited about the proposal, Your Majesty." Alicia explained with a slight smile of pride for the village’s talent.

"They began the preparations of the runic blueprints and the transmutation circles imdiately in the forge. However, they ntioned to that the real problem is that they do not have the adequate base materials to tune the frequencies of the stone from a distance on their own."

"Yes, about that small problem with the materials..." Ryan comnted naturally as he walked.

"I believe I brought exactly sothing from the city that will serve as the perfect mold for them to begin the work this very day."
