After Ryan returned from his escort mission and t up with Karol and Irina.
They realized they were being followed, and the girls had taken care of it.
They had brought back one of those assassins for interrogation.
Though it apparently turned out to be a girl.
Her breasts remained exposed, and Ryan removed the hood covering her face. She was still unconscious.
"Were all the ones you killed won?"
"I didn’t really notice... does it matter?"
"Not really, but I was curious."
’She must be about our age, well... that shouldn’t surprise . It’s only normal in this world when one is an adventurer’
Ryan inspected her, and she was a Rank A assassin.
Although her stats were what he would expect from an average Rank A.
"Did these assassins give you any trouble?"

Ryan approached her.

She looked at him with glowing eyes and nodded her head.
After that, Irina told him that after leaving the mines, she would try to find information, because when she went today, she had already moved. And no one knew where she was.

Ryan turned toward the unconscious girl.

"I didn’t do anything to you, we just want to talk."
She didn’t answer and tried to run toward the window to escape.

The girl tried to struggle.
But it was useless; she began to undress.
And she stood in front of Ryan.

Ryan looked back at the girl.
"Are you working with the demons?"
"No... and I don’t know if my client is allied with demons or not, they only ordered us to keep your group well-monitored, and if possible, kill you when you were off guard. Though, that was only for extra pay; the priority was to find out who you are, and if your presence here could interfere with the plans of those who hired us."
"I see... so in so way, they did plan to get rid of us... And tell , those people who hired you, what are those plans they want to keep us away from?"
The girl still tried to resist, but it was totally useless.
"They are here to kidnap dwarves. They pretend to work as escorts, then they kidnap them and use the monsters as cover by saying the dwarves they were guarding died."
The interrogation continued.
The girl confessed that all the assassins who ca besides her had already been killed by Karol.
When Ryan asked what the purpose of kidnapping the dwarves was, she didn’t know the reason; however, she let out two suppositions.
There was the possibility that they wanted to forge so special kind of relic that dwarves wouldn’t normally dare to make.
Or also, there was the possibility that they wanted to make so deal with demons by exchanging the dwarves as slaves.

The effect of the debt had ended; at last the girl could move, but Ryan warned her not to try anything else and told her she could get dressed now, so she obeyed.
Without complaining, surely thinking that he could control her again if she acted in a strange or defiant way.
Ryan sat in one of the chairs in the room.

Ryan raised his hand toward her.

She looked at him, her face reflecting an involuntary terror, as if rembering what she had experienced a few minutes ago while under the control of Ryan’s skill.
"All right, I’ll take you to them, just as you suggested, in exchange for letting live."
She looked back at the floor.

Ryan turned to look at Karol.
Karol approached the girl.
"Don’t move, we can’t let you stay awake until sunrise."
Karol took her arm and began to drain her mana.
The girl fell to the floor unconscious again.
"Then, in a few hours I’ll take care of those who are trying to kill us..."
