Purple Lightning
The Body of Eternal Immortality...
was an immortal body that would never know death.

the fact that the body was immortal did not an that Arthur himself was immortal.

Arthur had nearly lost his life after becoming a Sacred Ruler.
The reason had been simple and obvious...

if Arthur were to obtain that sa power once again,

and gave Arthur the exact location.
Arthur sighed quietly,
then stood firmly.

The mont he spoke the words,
the air violently wrapped around his body,
and he vanished from where he stood.
It was not disappearance...
but movent at flawless speed,
as Arthur rushed toward Mount Jilei as fast as he possibly could.

Three Days Later...
Arthur arrived at Mount Jilei.
Purple lightning struck everywhere,
violently tearing through the sky,
its thunder shaking the mountains from their foundations.
"Isn't that... Elder Li Jingtian?"
Arthur looked ahead
and saw Li Jingtian standing to one side.
Beside him stood four little demons,
all of them staring at the massive vortex forming in the sky.
Arthur followed their gaze...
and saw Zhuo Fan.
He was severely injured.
Blood poured heavily from his mouth,
while lightning struck his body rcilessly,
yet he continued protecting a small child within his arms.
"Damn that bastard..."
Arthur imdiately rushed forward to save him,
but at that mont...
he noticed the lightning gathering in the heart of the heavens.
The clouds were charging their power,
preparing to unleash a devastating strike
directly upon Zhuo Fan,
who stood in the middle of the sky.
"Damn it... damn it!"
Arthur moved at unbelievable speed.
Just before the lightning bolt could strike Zhuo Fan,
the latter closed his eyes...
yet felt nothing.
"...?"
Zhuo Fan slowly opened his eyes.
The lightning...
had not struck him.
He raised his head
and saw that Arthur had taken the strike in his place.
Pain tore through Arthur's body violently,
but what hurt him the most...
was his left side.
Looking down with trembling eyes,
he saw that his left arm had disappeared,
and a portion of his body had been completely destroyed along with it.
"Damn it... you stupid bastard."
Arthur muttered in a low voice,
blood pouring heavily from his mouth.
Even so...
a small smile appeared on his face.
Then he closed his eyes
and fell onto Zhuo Fan.
