With the appearance of those ssages, the pain gnawing at Arthur's body lessened—but it did not disappear completely.
Exhaustion and overwhelming fatigue still weighed him down, as though his bones were made of lead. Blood slipped quietly from his mouth, a few drops—yet enough to remind him of the price he had paid.
All eyes were on him.

The scenario had been forcibly terminated.
The Dokkaebi was boiling with rage. His hatred and resentnt were directed straight at Arthur and Kim Dokja.
If not for those two, soone would have claid the Absolute Throne, and everything would have gone according to plan.
But because of an annoying reader and a mad, demonic bastard… everything had been ruined.
Kim Dokja smiled as he looked at Arthur.
Arthur raised his hand, flashing a victory sign, wearing that gentle, angelic smile that did not suit his actions from monts ago in the slightest.
One of the crowd stood up and shouted in panic:
"What happens now?!"

Arthur smiled brightly.

The Dokkaebi glared at Arthur with even greater anger, but said nothing this ti. Instead, he raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
Yellow sparks began swirling around everyone, wrapping around their bodies, devouring them one by one.

With the sound of wind brushing against his face, Arthur's eyes snapped open.

He slowly looked around, trying to process his surroundings.
He was inside an iron cage, placed atop the roof of a massive skyscraper.
The city around him was in ruins, and the air was thick with the sll of blood and rust.
He turned at the sound of screams.
There were dozens of iron cages, each cramd with people.
At the center, a larger cage…
Inside it, two individuals were fighting to the death, while others surrounded them—shouting, cheering, laughing with disgusting excitent.
At that mont, a red window appeared before Arthur's eyes.

Arthur exhaled, then stood up. He looked for his sword…
but couldn't find it.
Everyone in the cage stared at him in terror.
He ignored them.
He placed his hands on the iron bars and pressed.
The tal bent… then snapped.
Arthur stepped out of the cage calmly.
The people around the central cage were too busy with their bloodshed to notice him yet.
He searched for his sword again… then rembered.
'Damn it… I'm an idiot.
I put it in storage before I passed out.'
He imdiately opened his storage.
His black sword was there.
He grabbed it.
At that mont, the others noticed him.
"How did you get out, beautiful?"
"Don't be afraid, we won't hurt you."
"Co… let us protect you."
Arthur stared at them with cold disbelief.
"Heavenly Demon… Arthur Narin.
A beautiful girl?
What the hell."
He burst into laughter.
Then he raised his sword and swung it with savage force.
His laughter twisted into a small, demonic smile as he charged toward them.
"Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!"
"Why are you destroying our beautiful human farm?!"
"Stop! The constellations love this!
We'll earn a lot of coins because of you!"
Arthur stopped.
He looked at the last man who spoke…
then smiled.

Arthur raised his sword—and with a single strike, split the man in half.
"This… is my answer. You self-fucking bastard."
Then he continued slaughtering the rest without hesitation, without regret.
"Damned bastards… you deserve death."

Arthur smiled with a strange happiness, as if seeing old friends.

Then, he spotted a familiar face inside one of the cages.
He approached slowly.
It was a girl with shoulder-length black hair, unconscious.
He observed her for a mont.
"Wasn't this girl there?
Isn't she… Kim Dokja's companion? Or sothing like that?"
Arthur didn't recognize her.
He had only arrived at the previous scenario at its very end, when he entered the shrine.
If he had been there from the beginning…
he would have known that this girl was—
