The next day, Diamond received Cecilia, who had been out on so vacation of so sort and she ca with her girlfriends.
Looking at the three ladies who kept bothering her for weeks, she couldn't help but smile at them.
"I am glad to see you again so soon. I called as soon as I got them. Please co in and take a seat," Diamond politely spoke as she directed the ladies to her extravagant sitting room.
Cecilia and her two friends smiled excitedly at Diamond and followed her to the sitting room where they sat on those expensive sofas which weren't sothing new as they also lived in luxury.
"You are so good, my friend. Ever since I started eating those chickens of yours, none of the chickens I tasted after that are the sa. No matter what happens in the future, you mustn't forget us!" Cecilia seriously said as she looked at the smiling Diamond.
"Yes, you don't know how much I suffered. You know my mother-in-law; she doesn't like that much. It's been over a decade and that woman keeps on reminding of how I am a disgrace. It's not like it's my fault. No one chooses where to be born. And all the money she spends now. She wasn't the one who earned it. So why is she so busy attacking every day!" the woman who was dressed brightly and looked to be in her thirties complained sourly as she looked at the won in the room.
"Exactly. We don't choose how we are born, but we can at least change what we beco in the future."
"Exactly, that's what I always say to her, but she never listens. Anyway, you know how this cocky mother-in-law acted when she ate that chicken? Ha ha ha, you all should have seen it! I never thought that woman could make a different expression except for the ones she always showed .'
Diamond's curiosity was now piqued. Her eyes couldn't help but light up upon hearing this.
Cecilia, who was gossipy by nature, was dying of curiosity and quickly urged her friend, "Co on, just finish the damn story!"
"Ha ha, you are always anxious. Okay, as I was saying, my mother-in-law was so taken by the chicken that for the first ti she talked to nicely and even inquired about where I got the chicken from. You don't even want to know the tragedy I found myself in as I kept on listening to her and ....."
Diamond couldn't help but feel pity for this lady. At least she didn't have to worry about relatives. Her parents were very cool and didn't ask a lot. They were also supportive of what she did and way before she started earning money, they also didn't give up on her.
The feeling of what this woman was going through reminded her of her life in Srad. She couldn't help but wonder to herself, 'Why did she do all those things before? Was everything ever worth it?'
"I am glad that your mother-in-law now looks at you positively. I have good news for all of you, I have a lot of chickens and you can buy as many as you want. However, I need to tell you that almost every one or two weeks from now on, there will be more chickens. So, buy with restraint, I still need to sell to other people," Diamond teasingly spoke to the ladies.
The first one to react was Cecilia, who exclaid excitedly, "Is that true? Does that an I don't have to wait for like four to six weeks to get my chicken?"
"Exactly, you no longer have to wait for long. So please, lower your order limit!" Diamond chuckled as she said that.
The other woman who happened to be a quiet person looked at Diamond with shock in her eyes, 'She is very strange. Who encourages custors to buy less nowadays?'
"Ha ha ha, Diamond, aren't you a bit strange? Who encourages her custors to buy less like you?" Cecilia couldn't believe the other at all, so she jokingly asked.
Diamond shook her head lightly and said, "It's just that I don't want to disappoint other custors like you who are looking forward to receiving their orders."
The quiet lady couldn't help but nod her head with satisfaction, 'she is not a profit-oriented person. She is very good and I think that we can work together.'
"Okay, we understand. So, let's get down to business."
Diamond was glad to have people to talk to and people who understood and didn't cause a ruckus simply because they were very rich.
The ladies bought fifty chickens altogether, and that was all the chickens that she brought with her to her villa.
When she sent the ladies away, she couldn't help but shake her head at Janet, who was sulking, "Don't worry, there is still more. You and your friends can still buy so."
Janet was relieved to hear that. Although she hadn't finished the chicken she bought last ti, her friends were bothering her about the chicken for a long ti. And she didn't want to disappoint them by bringing them the bad news that the chickens wouldn't be available since they were all bought by so rich madam.
"I am glad then; these ladies are truly dangerous!" Janet sighed as she thought of how crazy it would be if these ladies brought more of their friends in the future.
"Ha ha ha, don't worry, I will always set aside a portion for my loyal custors," Diamond promised.
Diamond knew that it wasn't Janet alone who would suffer as rich people like Cecilia kept on buying like crazy like this. Her employees were also huge fans of her chicken and they wanted so as well.
Diamond received a phone call from the celebrity of the complex. She also wanted so chicken, and she decided to set aside so for her.
Diamond had seen most of her neighbors and they all communicated via the Cherry Court chat group, but it wasn't always as so of them barely checked their ssages.
But this didn't stop any mber from posting, and Diamond used this group chat to advertise her business as well.
