TWENTY MINUTES LATER
Ruby was in a trance. She still didn’t know how they even got to that point and how her sister was so calm and collected as if she was a different person.
Glancing sideways to other tables, Ruby wanted to flee from the restaurant with embarrassnt.
Although the restaurant was a traditional one and provided traditional als from all walks on the continent. Ruby wasn’t expecting her sister to be that bold and without any sha, especially in public.
For such a pretty sister to order such a dish and eat it with relish in public without any concerns, Ruby was boiling.
But when she saw the people’s reactions again, she didn’t know how to react and that sent her into a trance.
"Ruby, aren’t you eating? Are you full already?" unaware of what her sister was thinking, Diamond asked curiously as she saw how Ruby’s plate seed to be not touched.
"Ahem.... Sister, I will start eating now," Ruby embarrassedly coughed as Diamond’s questions jolted her out of her trance.
Diamond flashed Ruby a smile that brightened Diamond’s face, making Ruby flush for a mont.
"Hmm, eat, okay? We still have to continue," Diamond urged as she tore her second dumpling with her fingers neatly as if she had done the process a lot of ti.
"Oh .... Okay."
Although she was taken aback, Ruby understood that she needed to start eating otherwise, the food would get cold and that would be bad.
Diamond resud eating her food after urging Ruby, who was probably thinking about sothing.
Diamond had not eaten dumplings for a very long ti. She was too busy to cook them, besides she had never cooked them before as it was a bit tricky to cook them properly.
Diamond ordered three servings of dumplings, which was a total of six dumplings in total, as each serving had two.
Each dumpling was as big as an adult fist and since the dumplings were made from flour, it was very easy for a person to get full easily. When eating the dumplings, one would choose the stew to go with and Diamond being herself, picked tripe stew, which was served in a clay pot that kept the tripe warm.
So, a spectacular scene that no one was expecting appeared that shocked a lot of people, especially young won who were so adamant about maintaining their images in public.
Certain foods would make it difficult for a girl to remain looking pretty when eating. And Diamond’s choice of food was exactly like that.
She couldn’t eat her food with a knife and fork. Instead, she had to use her hands to eat it since it tasted better to her that way.
If she were to use cutlery, she felt that the authenticity of the food would disappear. So, she washed her hands and started digging in.
So, seeing a pretty young woman eating in such a way, many people were shocked. However, they weren’t disgusted with how she was eating, as every single posture of hers looked not only elegant but graceful as well.
It was as if she was doing so live mukbang show and it drew people.
However, since she was concentrating on enjoying her food, Diamond completely ignored her surroundings, so she failed to see that several people were recording her faithfully.
However, Ruby saw all that and knew that they were being fild. She was shy all of a sudden and didn’t want to continue.
However, seeing how her sister was enjoying her food, she was tempted once again to eat her food and just get it over with. Since the deed had been done, there was no turning back for her.
In the end, the show for one person ended with the two of them. As for the restaurant, it beca more of a free advertisent as other people wanted to taste just how good the food was for those two pretty ladies to enjoy it like that.
After finishing two servings of food, Diamond was feeling very energetic, and a smile was on her face.
Although she had been eating well ever since she received the system, it was the first ti that she had eaten sothing that made her so happy.
Having too much money made her forget that other delicious foods could be eaten apart from rice, pasta, and the kind of food she had been having lately.
’When I go ho, I should tell Aunt Janet to add a few more als like these!’ She decided as she paid for the bill at the counter.
"Thank you for patronizing our restaurant!" the cashier sincerely said, as she looked at Diamond with grateful eyes.
Diamond, still unaware of what happened because of her, simply thought that the other was being polite, so she smiled back at the cashier as she responded.
"Your restaurant is very good. I will co back again!" Diamond promised before she left the restaurant with a smiling Ruby.
When they left the restaurant, Ruby had these mixed emotions she didn’t know how to deal with exactly.
So much had happened in such a short ti and she was still in disbelief.
With so many videos, were they going to beco famous overnight?
Just thinking about it made her regret it.
She didn’t even know where the videos would be uploaded and if they were uploaded, how would people react?
She was so anxious and at the sa ti, needed to hide it from her sister. Her sister was so happy and she didn’t want to spoil the mont by telling her about that.
’I guess I will have to search around and see what pops out when we return ho,’ she thought to herself as they walked towards the escalator.
Diamond was indeed happy, especially after filling her stomach with such a delicious stew.
And since she was in a good mood and it was getting late, she decided to visit the higher floors. If they were to continue moving at the pace, they moved in the morning. They would need to return to the mall again the next day, and she didn’t want that.
"Let’s go to the fourth floor!" Diamond said to Ruby, who was walking a few steps behind her.
Upon hearing that, Ruby threw away her worries to the side and agreed to Diamond. "Sure."
With Ruby following Diamond, the sisters took the escalator thrice, from the second floor where the restaurants were to the top floor where the top brands were settled.
When she reached the floor, Diamond was surprised when she saw a brand that she had taken a liking to when she was in Srad, Bormuga.
"Oh! This is also here!" she exclaid upon seeing the shop as soon as they got off the escalator.
"What’s here?" Ruby asked curiously as she looked around upon hearing her sister exclaim in surprise.
"Hehe, it’s a brand that sells nice clothes. Do you want to check it out?" Diamond chuckled softly as she asked Ruby.
Ruby’s eyes lit up when she heard that. Her sister’s clothes were all nice and so of the clothes that she wore she had never seen before. Since Diamond was vouching for the brand, it ant that she was satisfied with it. So, Ruby was looking forward to getting a few clothes from there.
"Sure, I want to check it out. Where is it?"
"It is over there. Don’t look at the prices. Just pick whatever you want!" Diamond emphasized on that part as she recalled how expensive the Bormuga brand was.
Most of the clothes that they had purchased earlier wouldn’t be as expensive as what they would be seeing shortly. And Diamond didn’t want Ruby to overthink and stop herself from getting so nice clothes because of the price tags.
"Don’t worry. I have sort of gotten used to it now, so there is no need for you to worry about in that regard!" Ruby truthfully responded.
After watching Diamond swiping her card repeatedly as she continuously paid for the ridiculously high bills they had accumulated; she had sohow beco immune.
She was not going to make her sister or family lose face anymore. Since she could spend money at will, she was going to do it without regrets.
And she soon realized how aweso her sister was when she entered the Bormuga shop.
’Wow! How can they be so expensive like this?’
’Just look at that dress. Doesn’t that cost the sa price as my car?’
She was stunned by what she saw after entering the shop. Now wonders why her sister reminded her when they were outside.
If one were to look at the price tags, it would be difficult to buy anything in the shop. The prices were simply too ridiculous. Just how much should one have to afford all that?
She couldn’t help but look at her sister’s clothes as she thought of that.
’Just how much is sister wearing now?’
