"I knew it..." - Cloud muttered as he saw how Sakuya was yelling at Lindow.
The First Unit was heading in a helicopter towards their destination, the [Far East] Branch of the Fenrir Corporation.
"They're noisy..." - muttered a young man of about 18 with brown skin, white hair who was wearing a blue hooded trench coat.
"It's the norm, don't you think, Soma?" - Cloud asked as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Right... I guess I had to balance things out" - replied the young man now known as Soma - "Two silent people with two people who look like children... I guess each of them has to be the nanny for one of those two."
"That's a good way to look at it, but if I'm honest I'd rather babysit Sakuya, I an, if you give the choice between looking at a man's or a woman's ass, obviously I prefer the woman's, not to ntion that she has a nice figure" - answered Cloud while giving a smile to the stoic boy, only to notice how he shook his head.
"You should control your instincts a bit, Cloud" - said Soma as he looked at his friend.
"We can't all be monks, Soma" - Cloud replied disdainfully - "And if I'm honest, I haven't had sex in years..."
"?" - Soma raised an eyebrow because he wasn't expecting this response from Cloud, more so when Sakuya was quite open with her feelings for the boy - "You're weird, Senpai."
"We all have our quirks, Soma" - Cloud replied as he looked neutrally towards his destination - "You two, stop arguing we're about to get there!"
"We're not done yet, Lindow..." - Sakuya said as she walked beside Cloud, but not before giving her leader an annoyed look.
"I'm still your leader, Sakuya..." - Lindow said as she rolled her eyes at him, then focused on the blonde - "As for you, Cloud, I'd like you to finally take her to your room, it's obvious she needs to release so stress."
Sakuya couldn't hold back any longer. She quickly unleashed her [God Arc], a huge Sniper rifle.
"OK, OK, let's calm down a bit" - Lindow said while shaking his head - "Cloud, stop her!"
"Sakuya... if you shoot now, you'll destroy the helicopter" - said Cloud as he rolled his eyes at his leader - "And you, Lindow... stop bothering Sakuya so much!"
Soma just shook his head because this was what always happened when they went on missions.
Lindow was a good leader, brilliant was saying little about his abilities, but there was one huge problem, he couldn't take anything seriously unless the situation called for it. He liked to joke around and his main focus was Sakuya and her unconfird relationship with Cloud.
Sakuya was the dical corps of their group, as well as their ranged fighter. She was serious most of the ti, though there were two tis when she acted like a child and those were when Cloud was in the way or when Lindow was bothering her to pass the ti.
Cloud on the other hand was the one who stopped those two. The young man was a mystery, he had appeared out of nowhere and his abilities were extrely superior to those of a normal human, even so Fenrir scientists treated him as the first Aragami with a human body, sothing that was disproved after they took a blood sample and discovered human DNA, although to the annoyance of the scientists, they couldn't do much more than that with the blond's blood and any attempt to experint with it ended in a dead end.
And finally there was him, Soma Schicksai, a person who many labeled as antisocial just because he didn't like to talk to other people, especially when they were as clownish or loud as his two squad mates.
"How much more ti do we need to get to our target?" - Soma asked as he looked at his helicopter pilot.
"F-Five more minutes..." - replied the pilot in terror because he had heard of the group he had been tasked to transport.
"Seriously, why don't any of us know how to fly a helicopter?" - Lindow asked as the others rolled their eyes at him.
"Because normally that's the chanic's job, and to no one's surprise the chanic we were assigned left because soone didn't know how to take their job seriously" - said Sakuya as she scowled at her leader.
"Oh, co on, I just played a little joke on him" - replied Lindow with a smile.
"I don't think using Fenrir's technology to make a woman's clothes transparent is a harmless prank, Lindow" - replied Cloud as he rolled his eyes at her.
Indeed, the chanic and Pilot that the barracks had sent for their group had been a woman, and Lindow with her mischievous ways couldn't restrain herself from playing a joke on him.
"Not the best idea, Leader," Soma replied.
"See, even the cold-hearted guy who doesn't give a shit about anything thinks that was a bad idea!" - Sakuya exclaid, not noticing how Soma frowned.
"Surprised that the elite group is so... strange?" - Cloud asked as he approached the pilot.
"Y-Yeah, I an, No!" - exclaid the pilot as he said what he really thought - "I-I just didn't think of them this way..."
"Relax, we're not going to do anything to you" - replied Cloud as he shrugged his shoulders - "Answering the doubt you have in your thoughts, many people consider us heroes, bloodthirsty, there are even so who consider us monsters, but we're just ordinary people."
". . ." - the pilot was silent before nodding. Now that he had spoken to the blond, the group didn't feel as oppressive as it had before the flight began - "We've arrived."
"And from what I see, soone has already joined the party..." - Soma said as he looked down and saw a jet black haired boy carrying a huge blue sword - "A rookie..."
"At least you have the balls to co out to the aid of a fellow student... the kid's got talent" - said Lindow as he watched the boy throw himself against a group of [Aragami] in order to help his colleague [God Eater]"
"He's either very brave, or very stupid" - said Sakuya as she picked up her [God Arc] - "I guess a little bit of both."
"I'd say more than anything he's stupid" - replied Soma as he looked at his companions - "Who goes first?"
"I'm a bit bored so I'll take it..." - Cloud said as he looked at the others - "I'm still a bit annoyed that I haven't been able to release so steam because of the bad battles we've been having."
"You should use that energy on so other things, like for example..." - Lindow said with a teasing smile.
"Better not continue if you don't want to fly this helicopter" - Soma replied neutrally.
"You want backup?" - Sakuya asked as she looked at the young blond.
"I can do it alone, though if you want to join , I have no problem" - Cloud replied as he nodded - "The company of a beautiful lady is always welco."
Sakuya blushed slightly before returning to her serious expression. It wasn't ti to be embarrassed by the blond's words, after all, the more they flirted, the more lives were lost.
"Okay, here we go..." - Cloud said as he jumped down from the helicopter.
"Shouldn't he have co down a bit?" - Asked the pilot with concern.
"Relax, he's tough enough to jump from this distance and not get hurt" - replied Lindow as he shrugged - "He's sure going to try one of those 'Hero Landings'..."
"I'd better go with him" - sighed Sakuya as she jumped from the helicopter.
"What about her?" - Asked the pilot again.
"Just watch" - Lindow replied as the sound of gunfire echoed in place - "She uses her [God Arc] so she can slow her fall speed to one that won't cause her harm."
"We'd better stop talking and head towards the northeast side, that's where the havoc is starting to spread" - said Soma neutrally - "With those two in this place, it's more than enough to take out all this trash."
"Everyone says you're soone cold, Soma-kun, but we know you're just shy, I an, you always have our back no matter how much you say we're annoying" - said Lindow with a smile.
"Better keep quiet, Leader, I only trust you because you are strong" - replied Soma with neutrality.
"Again with your attitude Tsundere" - smirked Lindow, only to jump out of the helicopter when he felt the lock-shaped sword that the brown-skinned young man was approaching his forr location - "These kids today don't know how to take a joke..."
"There are tis for joking, leader... and I don't think this is one" - replied Soma who was following him.
"I know, I was just trying to relax a bit before entering the battlefield" - replied Lindow calmly - "So my body is a bit more flexible."

"Impossible..." - Said the jet-black haired boy as he watched the [Aragami] that had caused so much trouble die one after another.
"Are you alright, rookie?" - Sakuya asked with concern.
"H-Hai..." - the boy replied, only to shake his head in reaction.
"Take that [God Arc] and help Eric out of here" - said Sakuya seriously - "We'll take care of this."
"I can help!" - exclaid the boy as he saw how he was being pulled out of the action.
