"B-But..." - said the boy, only to notice how the place went completely silent - ". . ."
"Listen rookie, I know you want to show that you have the talent to stand out from the rest, but you have to understand that this is not a contest to see who is the best, here we are risking not only our lives, but also the lives of our teammates and the civilians we have to take care of" - said a voice behind him.
The boy slowly turned around, only to notice a blond man watching him carefully.
The man looked at him for a few seconds before focusing on the woman - "Are you ready, Sakuya?"
"You know the answer very well, Cloud" - Sakuya replied as she looked at the blond.
"Cloud..." - muttered the boy, only to widen his eyes - "Blonde hair, blue eyes with slitted pupils! You're Cloud Strife, the Demon!"
"Demon... I never liked that nickna..." - Cloud muttered with annoyance - "I don't understand why they call that when I've done nothing wrong."
"I guess they an the hell you leave with all those [Aragami] corpses!" - Sakuya replied as she laughed a little seeing the blond's expression - "Anyway, I guess we'll just have to get on with the job."
Sakuya was about to say sothing else, but kept silent when she heard a loud roar in the distance - "That's..."
"Things are about to get out of hand..." - Cloud said as he looked at Sakuya - "I want you to evacuate all civilians, this mission went up from Rank C, to Rank A."
"Rank A?!" - exclaid the boy in terror because that ant only one thing - "You say there's a Big [Aragami] in this place?!"
The roar of the beast echoed closer and closer as the silhouette of the beast drew nearer and nearer.
"Exactly" - Cloud replied as he looked carefully to the north, the place where the roars were coming from - "Sakuya..."
"I know, you don't have to repeat it twice" - replied Sakuya seriously - "When I'm done here, I'm going to support you."
"Ok" - smiled Cloud as he ran in the direction of the roar.
"Alright, I want you to help young man..." - Sakuya said, only to realise that she hadn't heard the boy's na.
"Lenka... Utsugi Lenka..." - replied the boy, only to widen his eyes in surprise - "Watch out!"
"Easy, I'm always aware of my surroundings" - Sakuya replied as she destroyed the [Aragami] that had jumped towards her.
"Wow..." - Lenka said as his eyes widened in surprise, only to scream when he saw an [Ogretail] run into a girl - "Watch out!"
"?" - Sakuya looked confused in the direction where the boy was pointing, only to scream in irritation when she saw her being surrounded by a large number of [Night Hollow] - "Tch!"
Lenka clenched his fists in fury as he saw how weak he was, only to feel a strong urge run through his body - "!"
"Get there!" - Lenka exclaid as he grabbed his [God Arc], only for it to transform.
"!" - Sakuya's eyes widened in surprise as she saw the sword transform into a huge assault rifle.
"Fire!" - Lenka exclaid instinctively.

"So it's you..." - Cloud said as he narrowed his eyes coolly - "Are you finally planning to fight , or are you going to run as usual?"
"Grr..." - the [Aragami] just glared neutrally as it let out a terrifying roar. The [Aragami] in question was about the size of a small house, it had the appearance of a grey tiger with 6 species of yellow wings that looked like tentacles.
A large amount of lightning began to surround the beast's body as it opened its mouth, revealing a huge row of fangs, the most prominent being the two front fangs, one being broken.
"Oh? You still haven't regenerated the gift I gave you, [Vajra]?" - Cloud asked with a grin, only to hear the beast roar - "I hope we go all the way this ti... because I want to get a taste of your core!"
It [Vajra] only roared fiercely as it leapt at the blond.
"Let's see you take on my trusty companion.... [Sephiroth]!" - Cloud exclaid as the necklace he always wore, transford into a huge sword of about two and a half ters. This sword was as thick as a grown man's arm and as sharp as the fang of the most savage [Aragami] - "[Sefirot - Katana Model]"
"Co, I want to taste your core" - Cloud said as he ran at the [Aragami] with a feral grin.

"ROAR!" - the roar of the massive beast echoed through the place as its electrified fangs clashed against the tal of the blond's weapon.

"I have to admit I'm impressed... I never thought I'd see a [God Arc] with the ability to transform" - Sakuya said as she looked at Lenka's weapon - "At least not since Cloud's weapon."
"Oh..." - Lenka said as he watched his rifle turn back into a sword - "Wow..."
"I guess they made it, took them a good amount of years that is" - Sakuya said as she shrugged - "Too bad it's not like Cloud's, if it was, then these [God Arc] could transform into a lot of different weapons."
". . ." - Lenka only kept silent when he heard this because he was honestly ignoring the woman's words.
"I see that everything is fine in this area" - Soma said as he walked next to his squad leader.
"Yes, but now we have to go give Cloud support" - said Sakuya seriously - "He's fighting an A-Rank [Aragami]."
"She's right, Soma" - said Lindow with a serious expression, one she hadn't shown in a long ti - "It's possible that right now Cloud is barely buying us so ti to get to support him, after all."
"We'd better stop talking and go help him" - Sakuya said seriously.
"Ok, let's go" - said Soma as he and the other mbers of the [First Unit] ran in the direction where the blond was.

"Sorry, buddy" - Lenka said as he helped his partner [God Eater], but not before looking in the direction where the mbers of the [First Unit] had gone.

"Ok, this is a bit annoying" - said Cloud as he felt his body being slightly paralyzed by the continuous electric currents radiating from the [Aragami] in front of him.
"I didn't think I'd see you in such a bad state, Cloud" - said Lindow as he looked at his best friend with a smile.
"Try hand-to-hand combat with that thing" - Cloud replied as he clicked his tongue - "Now, I wish you'd stop laughing at my misfortune and help , that thing is a lot more annoying than I first thought."
"Though I have to admit, you did a good job" - said Soma neutrally as he looked at all the burn marks the [Vajra] had on its body - "You even managed to break its other fang... I guess it hates you to death now"
"Nothing new" - Cloud replied as he took a breath and had the lightning bolts running through his body expelled thanks to the high concentration of mana inside him - "Ok, ti to get this over with."
"Though it is a surprise to see a [Vajra] in this place" - Lindow said seriously, only to feel a shiver run down his back.
