"Never mind, I want you to gather all the information you can, and while you're at it, I want you to block all signals of the battle so that [Fenrir: Central] doesn't know anything about what's going on" - Johannes ordered seriously - "In the anti, I want you to send one of our groups to capture whoever erges victorious from that battle? Sothing tells that things are going to be a lot closer than we thought."
"Ok, though jamming the signal will be a bit tricky..." - Daigo replied as he began typing at full speed.
"I know, that's why I expect you to buy as much ti as possible" - replied Johannes seriously - "At least until the battle of those two is over and our group manages to catch them when they're weak."
"As you command" - said Daigo as he went back to concentrating on his work.
"When this is over, we may get the missing piece" - said Johannes as a huge smile appeared on his face. Cloud or [Amaterasu], it didn't matter which one they caught because either one would be useful for their project, although it wouldn't be a bad thing if they caught them both.

". . ." - Cid could only wipe away the sweat as he felt the gaze of the [Deusphages] as they left the place where they had t, though he had to admit he was relieved that the monster's attention was elsewhere.
"What was that!" - Gin exclaid as he felt his entire body tremble at the presence of that huge monster that passed close to them.
"[Deusphages], the devourers of [God Eater], an irony of nature" - replied Cid as he looked at the survivors, especially Gin - "We're lucky it wasn't interested in us or we'd be dead by now..."
". . ." - the survivors looked at each other as they felt like their lives had flashed before their eyes.
"That thing... that thing was heading to where Cloud-san was" - muttered Gin's girlfriend as the others' eyes widened in surprise - "Are you saying it's interested in him?"
"Possibly" - replied Cid as he shook his head because he had lost control of his helicopter during [Amaterasu's] appearance - "Knowing that bastard, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, more so with his high level of power..."
"The girl following him... she was strange too..." - Gin said while frowning - "Sohow, I feel she's similar to that thing that passed by us."
Cid gave [God Eater] a look before shaking his head - "I don't know what shit that idiot got himself into, but it's best we stay out of his business. Cloud can fend for himself, I wouldn't even be surprised if he gave us another surprise..."
The survivors looked at each other before looking in the direction where the monster had walked, only to notice how the monster was nowhere to be seen anymore.
"As I told you, it's best we stay out of matters that don't concern us, for now let's just concentrate on getting out of here and getting to a safe place" - Cid said seriously as he said to end the subject for good.
Gin was about to say sothing else, but his expression changed when he saw a huge pillar of fire rise in the distance.
"I guess they made contact..." - Cid muttered with concern because as much as he didn't want to admit it, Cloud was a good friend of his - "Good luck, you blond idiot..."
Gin clenched his fist as he saw that he couldn't do anything even if he wanted to, only to relax a little when he felt a gentle hand on his - "Easy, Cloud-san is strong..."
". . ." - Gin looked at her girlfriend for a few seconds before nodding - "Thanks..."
"We'll be arriving at the [First Unit] base in a few hours, so you'd better make yourselves comfortable" - Cid said as the survivors felt around again.

[Resistance to Sacrum has increased (Currently 25%)]
"Ok, it doesn't hurt like it used to..." - Cloud grunted as he wiped his mouth after devouring a new sea of flas from [Amaterasu].
[You are a very annoying being, Brother...] - growled [Amaterasu] as she saw that her attack had been useless - [I don't know how you are able to consu my flas, nor how you have managed to resist the corrosion of my [Divine] attribute, but I think it's ti to end these gas...].
"I was thinking the sa thing," Cloud said as he looked down at his hands, only to notice how they seed to be slowly transforming into claws, "Tch..."
He was aware that if he continued to use [Incursio] and his evolution ability, things would end badly, but he never thought the mutation would start so quickly.
"Tatsumi hadn't suffered from these effects so quickly..." - Cloud thought as he recalled the original [Incursio] user, only to rember a slight detail that left him blank - "Right.... [Tyrant] evolves in order to consu, and the more powerful the enemy, the faster the beast changes... that's why Tatsumi changed so fast in the final arcs..."
Coming to the truth made him feel like an imbecile, years of thinking he had changed had made him realise that he had only matured in certain aspects and that he still didn't quite understand his situation.
"I'm an idiot..." - Cloud muttered as he growled in irritation at the realisation of how big a mistake he had made, but there was no way he could change the past now that he had co this far - "I guess now all that's left is to move on and pray that things don't end up this bad..."
"Are you alright, Onii-chan?" - Shio asked as she looked worriedly at the blond as she could feel how sothing had changed in him, especially when he froze for a few seconds.
"Yeah... it's just that I was thinking that maybe it would be a good idea for to go with my instincts..." - Cloud replied as he looked at the white-haired girl, only to notice how she had taken a few steps backwards - "Is sothing wrong?"
"No, well, Etto.... How do I put this?" - Shio said fearfully - "Your eye scares , Onii-chan?"
"Eye?" - Cloud asked as he tilted his head in confusion.
"Your right eye looks weird..." - Shio replied as the blond dodged [Amaterasu's] tentacle attack - "Now it's red and your pupil looks like a strange star."
"Oh, I see..." - Cloud replied as he grabbed his right eye, only to frown.
[Corrosion Level, 50%]
[ 500 to all, starting to show mutations in appearance]
[Skill [Adaptability], has gone up in rarity (S ⇒ SR)]
"At least it's just my eye and my hands just look like they're a little weird..." - Cloud muttered as he squinted his eyes, only to focus on the [Deusphages] in front of him - "I'm sorry I ignored you."
[Never mind] - [Amaterasu] replied calmly - [You sll so much more delicious now, I can even feel my mouth watering].
Cloud frowned as a growing fury appeared within him - "You... you, a re insect, are you trying to devour ?"
The blond was beginning to find the situation amusing.
That thing was trying to eat him, a [Tyrant]? What kind of fucking sick joke was that?
Cloud was about to charge at the beast, only to shake his head as he heard his own thoughts - "Shit, I almost fell..."
The blond quickly refocused as he couldn't let the [Tyrant] start corrupting his mind.
[Ok, I think I've waited long enough, it's ti to eat you] - [Amaterasu] said as she lunged at the silver-armored youth again.
Cloud frowned when he saw this, only to disappear and reappear above [Deusphages] - "I'm going through a ti where I don't need any more trouble, so I agree, it's ti to end this..."
[AH!] - [Amaterasu]'s roar of pain echoed in place as the fla-covered spear pierced through the chest of the female form on its head, only for it to release a massive amount of flas - [You bastard! You're going to pay for that!]
The [Aragami] was furious, no longer caring about anything that happened after this, she just wanted to tear the blond's body apart as she listened to her pain-filled screams for hurting her.
[Amaterasu] quickly moved her tentacled arms in order to catch her prey, only for it to once again disappear from the scene - [Damn insect!]
Flas again appeared in the area as the [Deusphages] roared out of control. The female silhouette had changed to a crimson red, as if demonstrating her growing fury.
"Did that hurt? Easy, we're just getting started..." - Cloud growled as his red eye glowed with malice - "I have to return the favour of using this damned weapon on ..."
Cloud wouldn't lie, he was furious, furious at the [Deusphages], furious at Johannes, furious at himself because he was weak and was forced to use this cursed weapon - "But none of that matters, now I just want to get even with you as I slowly tear your body apart..."
Cloud shifted slightly as he dodged the [Aragami]'s arms with a look full of disdain - "You didn't want to eat ? Well, now's your chance..."
