"I guess that would be it" - Shio said as she saw how Cloud had returned - "Anything we need to know?"
"Nothing out of the ordinary" - Cloud replied as he lowered himself to the ground and crouched down so that the white-haired girl could climb onto his head so that they could continue their journey.
[Gyo?] - [Yan Zhi] flapped her wings as she positioned herself back on the dragon's shoulder, only to spread her wings as she watched a plane head in her direction.
"Seriously," Cloud muttered as he frowned as he noticed [Fenrir]'s forces approaching and from the sheer amount of weaponry, it was obvious they were up to no good.
"What are you going to do?" - Shio asked as she cocked her head to the side.
"Nothing, unless those idiots do sothing stupid" - answered Cloud calmly, only to frown when he noticed how a large number of missiles were heading in his direction - "Ok, that confirms what I'm going to do now, I just hope the idiot who ordered them to attack , knows that the lives of his subordinates are no longer his."
[Gyo!] - [Yan Zhi] didn't understand what her master was trying to say, but that didn't an she didn't understand that they were being attacked.
"I guess it's ti to use the new technique I managed to acquire" - muttered Cloud as he motioned for him to get off because he was about to 'freak out'.
"Good luck" - Shio said as she he shook her head as she saw how so many lives would be lost because of the orders of a few.

"Sir, do you think it was a good idea to attack [Calamity]?" - one soldier asked in terror.
"That thing can't stand up to the power of our technology" - replied the one who seed to be the leader of the group, only to widen his eyes in surprise when he noticed how the dragon's body began to glow - "What is that?!"
The other soldiers could only watch in terror as a huge aura of fire spread from [Calamity]'s body.
"That ability" - said one soldier as a cold sweat ran down his back - "It's one of [Hera's] techniques!"
"[ga Flare]!" - Cloud roared as his body took the shape of a mini sun that started to grow with every second.
"Shit! Back off!" - The leader of the group exclaid.
"We can't!" - shouted the pilot - "That sun has a force of attraction of its own!"
"Jump!" - roared the leader as he grabbed a parachute and jumped without a second thought.
There was no ti for preparations or thinking any longer.
"!" - the soldiers quickly followed their leader and jumped without a second thought.
If they stayed in the plane, they would all die, but if they jumped, there was a small chance of survival.
"That son of a bitch!" - the pilot exclaid in terror as he struggled at the thought of escape, because if he pulled out of the cockpit, then the plane would lose the only reason it was staying in the air - "That's what you get for overtaking us!"
They had gone ahead first because their leader wanted to gain far more military rit than the other group leaders, and now the soldiers were paying the price.
"Fuck it!" - roared the pilot as he grabbed the parachute next to him and put the plane on autopilot - "I'm not risking my life for these sons of bitches!"
He had seen how many of the soldiers had grabbed a parachute and jumped out without a second thought, so he didn't feel bad about leaving the remaining ones to their fate.
"Good luck, you sons of bitches" - muttered the pilot as he jumped out of the cockpit door because there was no danger of being swallowed by the turbines as they were on top of the plane's wings.
The soldiers continued to jump from the plane, one after the other, but the expression of the falling ones changed when they heard the sound of explosions.
"Shit!" - exclaid the pilot when he heard this as he debated whether or not to open his parachute. He understood that the mont he opened it, the shock wave produced by the explosions would cause the opened parachutes to twist or even destroy - "No, I'd better take my chances and wait a bit. It doesn't matter if I'm close to the ground because with my parachute I can slow down enough to survive."

". . ." - Cloud watched calmly as the explosions beca less and less frequent while a serene expression remained on his face. He had to admit that [ga Flare] was a pretty useful technique - "I don't think I need this barrier anymore."
With just a thought, Cloud deactivated his technique and carefully observed the actions of the soldiers - "Escaping?"
Cloud flapped his wings and flew in the direction of his victims, only to watch in surprise as they all seed to be frozen with his presence.
"Get away, you monster!" - shouted a soldier, who, by his attire, was clearly the leader.
Cloud quickly opened his jaw and devoured him without a second thought. His ntality had changed drastically as the days passed, nay, even changed as the hours passed. He was no longer reluctant at the idea of eating humans, though it wasn't as if he enjoyed it.

"Captain!" - exclaid one soldier in terror as he summoned his [God Arc] model submachine gun - "No rcy!"
"Hai" - exclaid the other soldiers who had not been sent flying by the shockwaves of the explosions.
They all activated their [God Arc] and began firing at the huge silver dragon, only to widen their eyes in terror when they noticed it open its snout.
"What is it trying to do?" - exclaid the soldier who was trying to take command, only to open his eyes in shock and fear when they saw how the '[Aragami]' they were facing, had devoured every single attack - "Impossible!"
"I suppose it's my duty, to return the favour..." - Cloud growled as he launched a powerful plasma breath at them thanks to mix between his [Magic: Dragon Slayer] and his [Tyrant] race.
"Oh..." - the current leader of the group finally understood the situation they were in and how they had screwed up, a pity it had been right in their last monts of life.
Cloud's plasma breath had annihilated every human present, even the plane that had managed to stay airborne, though this did not bring happiness to the forr blond.
"Now the problems will be greater..." - Cloud muttered as he shook his head and returned to where his traveling companions were so that he could continue his journey to the place where the A-Rank [Aragami] dwelled.

"Sir, we have lost contact with the first squadron" - said a soldier as a red alert appeared on his monitor - "The probability that they have been annihilated is 99%."
"Annihilated" - muttered the older man as he frowned - "Wait. Just the first squadron?"
"First squad decided to go first, possibly so they could get a higher number of military rit" - replied the soldier in charge of logistics - "According to second squad's report, they were about an hour away from reaching the target."
"I see" - muttered the older man, only to frown - "That idiot. Any chance of survivors?"
"Negative, sir" - replied another mber of the logistics squad - "According to the satellite imagery we managed to gather, the first squad launched a pre-emptive strike against [Calamity], but it blocked it very easily. After that, [Calamity] counterattacked and devoured the leader of the first squad and destroyed the rest."
"He only devoured one?" - asked the older man in surprise because normally the [Aragami] would have devoured as many humans as possible - "Did he regard the others as weak prey?"
"We don't know why, sir" - replied the soldier seriously - "It is possible that [Calamity] can detect the abilities of its prey and only consus those that are beneficial to its evolution."
"That's an interesting hypothesis" - said the older man as he started to think - "I want you to tell where [Calamity] is heading"
"According to our analysis, [Calamity] is heading for the Hill of the End" - replied the soldier who was the leader of the logistics team.
"Hill of the End" - muttered the older man in surprise - "I see, [Calamity] is going to consu high danger level [Aragami] to continue evolving. This may be useful to us."
"I want you to prepare to go to [Hill of the End], we will take advantage of [Calamity's] high level of power so we can smash the place" - ordered the older man as his eyes glowed - "In the process we will destroy [Calamity] when he is weak."
"I feel that this is not a good plan, sir" - replied the soldier with a serious expression on his face - "According to our sensors, [Calamity] gets stronger with every being he devours, that ans that when he finishes consuming his prey on the [Hill of the End], he will be an entity to be feared."
"That's why we'll kill him before that happens" - the older man answered seriously - "No matter how much he has evolved, [Calamity] is still a beast that follows his instincts."
