"Human transforms into monster, monster continues to evolve, monster transforms into human" - thought Johannes. The more ti passed, the more he wished that this hypothesis was correct, after all, that was what he wished for as a scientist.
Johannes thought for a few seconds before shaking his head - "No, it doesn't matter, nor is it relevant, but if my hypothesis is correct, then that girl's body is the key to my wish being fulfilled".
A grim smile appeared on Johannes' lips as he ordered his subordinates to keep an eye on [Yan Zhi].

"That son of a bitch!" - Daigo roared as he smashed everything inside his office out of the sheer fury he felt - "How dare he refuse my requests over and over again!"
Daigo couldn't contain the fury he was feeling right now, after all, he was sure that this ti he would finally be able to fulfill his wish of being able to get Tsubaki, only to be denied at the last mont - "I curse Johannes, I curse that bitch [Red Rain], I curse [Fenrir], and I curse that bad-born Cloud Strife!"
The scientist was so angry, his face was completely red, though after a few seconds he managed to calm down. Daigo was calm, but that didn't an he wasn't still furious inside.
"If you think I'm going to do your bidding, you're very wrong, Johannes," Daigo muttered as a huge smile appeared on his lips, "I'm going to get what I want, and there won't be anyone to stop from getting it."
Daigo slowly walked out of his office and walked in the direction of the cells next to his equipnt.
"Sir, Daigo is heading towards the cells" - said a man who had appeared from the shadows.
"I knew it was a good idea to keep an eye on that asshole, good job, I want you to follow him."
"As you command, Johannes-sama" - replied the man as he followed Daigo from a safe distance.

"I knew it" - Johannes muttered fiercely - "I guess this is a good ti for to be able to get rid of that bastard, after all, he knows too much."
Johannes decided to put his thoughts aside and concentrate on what he had in his hands right now. The [Red Rain] was about to begin, the [God Eater] of [Fenrir: Centra] were on their way, and now he had a subordinate who wouldn't follow his instructions.
"Shall we stop guarding [Yan Zhi], sir?" - A logistics soldier asked, only to cringe when he noticed Johannes' cold stare - "S-sorry, sir!"
"Just follow through with your instructions and everything will be fine" - Johannes said neutrally as he narrowed his eyes - "Now, I want you to prioritise all information from [Yan Zhi], is that clear?"
"Hai!" - exclaid the soldiers in terror because they knew that if they didn't follow his instructions, they would be the next Daigo.
"Now if you need , I'm going to be a bit busy, so I want you not to contact unless it's important" - Johannes said as he settled his clothes and left the facility. He had to get back to his director's office as soon as possible.
"This job is a pain in the ass, although the amount of benefits are worth it" - muttered Johannes as he shook his head, sothing told him that things were about to get crazy.

"How many days have I been locked up in this place?" - Tsubaki muttered as she sighed with regret as she saw how she was once again in a completely white cell after opening her eyes. She felt like it hadn't been long, but being locked up in a place where the only illumination is artificial lights had made her sense of ti a joke.
"I wonder when they'll get out of this asylum," Tsubaki sighed as she shook her head, but her expression changed when she heard the door to her cell open.
"See how the strong have fallen" - Daigo said with a cold smile on his face as he entered the cell, only to notice how Tsubaki was watching him neutrally - "It's been a while since we last t, Amamiya Tsubaki-chan."
"I would have preferred not to see you for much longer, Daigo" - Tsubaki replied as she narrowed her eyes - "After all, you are trash, no, calling you trash is an insult to trash."
Daigo's expression was getting colder and colder with every insult the woman gave him, only to feel like a vein was about to explode on his face - "I see you still have the sa sharp tongue."
Tsubaki decided it was better to ignore the bastard in front of her.
"I wonder how much longer you can keep that cold attitude with , Tsubaki," said Daigo while looking at the woman with lust and desire.
Tsubaki sensed that sothing bad was about to happen, so she put on her guard.
"Tsubaki, you don't know how long I've wanted this," said Daigo as he pulled a syringe from his sleeve.
Tsubaki frowned when she saw this, so she slowly backed away from the man while pretending to be a bit scared.
"Co on, don't run away from , I just want us to be closer" - Daigo said with a huge smile. He slowly approached the woman who was standing with her back against the wall as he felt euphoria invade his insides.
Tsubaki had always shunned him and looked down on him, but now she was scared, acting like a terrified child.
"Get away!" exclaid Tsubaki as she continued to pretend.
Daigo only continued to laugh. His brilliant mind seed to have stopped working thanks to the euphoria, fury and other emotions that were clouding his judgent.
But the situation quickly changed.
When Daigo was a relatively close distance away, Tsubaki shot out at him and grabbed him by the wrist that was holding the syringe.
"Huh?" - Daigo didn't understand how everything had changed so quickly, but before he could continue to register what had happened, he felt sothing sharp in his throat - "Ugh."
Tsubaki didn't stop, she quickly shifted her grip on the man and moved behind him, only to apply all her strength.
"Ah!" - Daigo let out a sharp cry of pain as he felt the air begin to grow thin. Tsubaki had him by the throat and as a scientist, he was not strong enough to be able to take on a [God Eater] even though he was retired.
It was there that he realised the stupidity of his actions. He had let his emotions guide his thoughts and now he was paying for them.
Tsubaki had a neutral expression on her face as she continued to squeeze Daigo's neck with both of her arms, though she was still alert to any movent from the man. She didn't know if he still had any syringes with strange liquid in them.
"A-Aire" - Daigo muttered with his face getting bluer and bluer.
Tsubaki didn't answer him, she used all her strength, only for after a few seconds the sound of a branch snapping to be heard in the place. She quickly released the man, only for him to fall to the ground limp.
Tsubaki wasted no more of her ti, she quickly checked Daigo's equipnt to see if she could find anything useful for her situation.
"This is better than nothing" - muttered Tsubaki as she picked up a few scalpels - "With this I can at least defend myself if soone attacks , though I don't think I can do much if I run into any [God Eater]"
Tsubaki quickly exited the cell, but not before throwing one last glance at Daigo's corpse - "This ending is too good for you!"
The woman with the hair quickly ran off down the corridor, not noticing how a man was watching her.
"Sir, Amamiya Tsubaki has escaped" - the man said neutrally.
"This was to be expected" - Johannes replied from the communicator - "Anyway, I want you to let her escape".
"Excuse ?" - the man could not believe what he was hearing.
"As you heard , I want you to let her escape" - Johannes replied neutrally.
"Sir, I know I should do this, but I don't think it's a good idea" - said the man while shaking his head.
"I know, from a logical point of view, it's not the best plan to let our necklace escape, but in our current situation it's the best plan we have" - replied Johannes with a mysterious tone - "You'll know after a few seconds, now, tell Daigo's condition".
"Dead, sir" - replied the man while again shaking his head. He still couldn't understand what their leader was trying to do.
"Ok, at least he accomplished his goal" - Johannes said neutrally.
