"I guess this is it" - Cloud said as he squinted his eyes as he sensed a strong presence in the surroundings - "Co out! I know you can hear !"

[I didn't expect you to appear in front of so soon, [Newborn]]" - Said a monotone voice as the earth began to shake.

Slowly the sun began to shine more brightly as the temperature increased with each passing second. When the sun returned to normal, a huge silhouette appeared in front of Cloud, showing [Ra] in all his glory.

[If I'm honest with you, I never thought you'd co so fast, but seeing the huge growth you've had, I feel you're much more palatable now] - Ra said disdainfully as the sun-shaped spheres began to glow - [Now tell , what is it you desire?]

"Your core" - Cloud replied neutrally as his body began to grow considerably, taking on his [Tyrant] appearance again.

[Hmm, I didn't expect that answer, but that makes us equals] - Ra said as powerful golden flas began to surround his body - [Because I also desire your core!]

"ROAR!" - Cloud's roar echoed through the place as his wings spread in all their splendour. The huge winged beast, quickly surrounded his body in a powerful blue aura that increased his speed to unimaginable levels.

Ra was shocked when he saw this, though his expression quickly returned to normal as he noticed the massive beast moving closer and closer. The fire beast, applied its energy to his back and moved at the sa speed as his opponent, leaving only a residual image where it had been before.

"I'm surprised, I didn't know you had that kind of ability" - said Cloud as he saw how behind the [Aragami] was a small thruster.

[I usually don't use this kind of ability because my victims are weak, but I guess you're a special case] - said Ra neutrally as he looked carefully at his opponent - [I also have to admit that you're a bit annoying].

"Oh? In what way?" - Cloud asked with a feral grin.

[Sothing tells you're a lot more trouble to deal with than I thought] - replied Ra coolly.

"Believe , you don't know how true that is," said Cloud as he again lunged at [Ashborn] without thinking of the consequences.

"That idiot," muttered Lenka as he sighed regretfully.

Alisa was silent as she snorted in disdain.

The two of them had received a small punishnt for eavesdropping on their superiors' conversations.

"At least we got the information we wanted" - Alisa said calmly, but quickly frowned - "Although they still haven't explained the reason for Cloud Strife's absence."

"Don't even remind " - Lenka snorted while frowning - "For so strange reason, Captain Lindow and the others don't want to talk about it. I honestly think even they don't know what the fuck is going on."

"Don't be so stupid, rookie" - Alisa said as she gave her teammate a blank look - "If they didn't know what was going on, they would at least speculate so they could co to a conclusion, but they are reluctant to the idea of talking, that ans they know sothing and they don't want to tell us"

Lenka frowned even more because the girl's words made sense - "For a girl with big breasts, you're pretty smart."

". . ." - Alisa gave him a blank look when she heard this, because she couldn't believe what an idiot her partner was to be able to think that the stupid stereotype of [Big Breasts = Small Brain], was a common thing to see.

"I'm sorry!" - Lenka exclaid when he saw what he had said.

Alisa just shook her head as she decided to ignore the boy's words - "Whatever, we'd better go see Kota-san."

"Right" - nodded Lenka as the two walked to their partner.

When they arrived, they saw how Kota was shaking his head.

"What do you think, Kota?" - Tatenashi asked as she looked at the young man.

"If I'm honest, this doesn't look good at all" - replied Kota while frowning - "Although this is just my opinion after seeing the computer, I still don't prove anything".

The young man quickly opened the computer and his expression worsened a few notches, though after a few more seconds of analysis, he noticed how so of the most important components were miraculously in good condition - "Strange."

"What's strange?" - Tatenashi asked in surprise, not noticing how Houki was frowning. She might not know anything about the technical area of computers, but that didn't an she was ignorant about the subject.

"So much for the motherboard being in almost perfect condition," Kota replied with a frown because this shouldn't be possible. He slowly looked at the computer again, only to widen his eyes in surprise as he noticed the hardness of the cabinet - "Ok, that explains a few things".

"Why on earth would that thing be so tough?" - Tatenashi asked in surprise.

"I don't know, but it feels too convenient" - replied Houki seriously.

"Normally it's used on important computers in high-risk locations" - replied Kota as he started to think - "Think about it, if you use this kind of cabinets, then the components inside the computer will be safe even during an [Aragami] attack, that ans that the central base could retrieve this information without much effort."

"Makes sense" - nodded Alisa, only to notice how Houki and Tatenashi were watching her.

"What are they doing here?" - Houki asked simply, though the ssage was obvious. She was clearly telling them they shouldn't be here.

"We ca to check on our friend," said Lenka with a forced smile.

"Say it for yourself, I ca to find out a little more information and ask where Cloud Strife was" - Alisa said calmly.

"Well, at least she's honest with what she wants" - said Houki with a forced smile while looking at her friend.

"Right, right" - nodded Tatenashi as she looked at her apprentice - "OK, you can stay and see what's going on, but the information about Cloud is classified".

"Really?" - Alisa asked as she tried to use the only card she had in her hand, even though she honestly knew it wouldn't be useful - "Does that include even though I'm your mission partner?"

"That's right" - nodded Houki calmly.

". . ." - Alisa was silent before nodding. She was sure that sooner or later she would learn the truth, and at the sa ti, sothing told her that this information would be shocking.

"We'd better get back to the subject," Houki said as she shook her head because she knew that her friend would inform Alisa shortly about the situation.

"Thank you, now, could you please don't interrupt while I'm talking?" - Kota asked, who seed to be taking her job seriously - "Excuse !"

"Don't apologise, it's a good quality to concentrate on your work, it might even save your life" - said Tatenashi as she nodded - "OK, continue please"

"OK" - nodded Kota as he began to speak - "As I said before, these cabinets were made to be able to prevent this kind of situation, though I'm surprised they survived an explosion of this kind of magnitude."

"Anyway, what I was trying to say, was that the motherboard is in perfect condition, so slight changes and we can get the information inside this little one, though the fixes will take a few hours" - Kota said seriously as he started to think - "At least if we have all the parts"

"What do you need?" - Houki asked calmly.

"Give a mont and I'll tell you what I need" - nodded Kota as he went back to inspecting the computer again to make sure he didn't overlook anything.

Lenka smiled when he saw his friend being this upbeat, sothing that hadn't happened in a good while with their 'lockdown' in [Fenrir: Central] and then their 'isolation' during the journey back to [Fenrir: Far East]. In short, they had been denied information and 'lilight' for quite so ti, and this was the first serious mission they had given any of the three of them.

Alisa just nodded, though she had to admit it was a pleasant surprise that at least one of her companions wasn't as incompetent as she thought, though she quickly shook her head - "Anything we need to do?"

"For the mont, nothing" - Houki replied as she looked at the two boys with a slightly sadistic glare - "Although with the recent events I haven't been able to train you, so I will be increasing the level of your training over the next few days, that's why I ask you to prepare yourselves because you are about to enter a world of pain"

"I recomnd you to take Houki's words seriously" - said Tatenashi with a huge smile - "The training you have had with her so far, has been nothing more than a walk in the park."

". . ." - Lenka broke out in a sweat when he heard this because he had considered the training Houki had put them through to have been hell brought to earth. Only now was she discovering that it had only been a walk and now they were about to train for real.
