"It's good to see that they are okay" - Lindow said as he watched Tatenashi and Houki land in front of the group.
The battle had ended 5 minutes ago and the soldiers were still waiting for the next wave of attacks.
"Let's talk later, for now we'd better go to the general and take shelter" - replied Houki seriously - "As we were coming, we noticed how at least half of the [Aragami] retreated, that ans two things. One, they surrendered, which is unlikely, or two, they are gathering in order to make a final attack."
". . ." - Soma was silent as he watched Lindow for his opinion.
"They are right" - Lindow replied as he looked at his friend and now leader - "We have to make sure we are safe before anything else"
"Alright, let's go" - Soma replied as he and the troops started walking in the direction of the facility, not noticing how an [Aragami] was watching them from a distance.

It took 30 minutes for the group to arrive at the facilities and the first thing they did was to rest to recover the lost energy because it was obvious that the battle was not over yet.
Lindow, Soma and the high commanders of [Fenrir: Far East], as well as the mbers of the [First Unit], were sitting in front of a table, discussing about what would happen from now on.
"It's obvious that this is not over, I know it, you know it, we all know it" - Lindow said while looking around with a frown - "That's why we have to plan on what to do now that we will soon be fighting those things again."
". . ." - those present were silent as they looked at each other not knowing what to say.
The situation was precarious for them, more so when the enemy attack could start at any mont.
"Our soldiers can't be in a state of vigilance all the ti, that would only make our troops unable to cope with the increasing psychological pressure" - added the general as he earned everyone's gaze because it seed that he had managed to mature during the mission, sothing that was sincerely welco.

"Don't even think about it!" - Sophia exclaid as she stood up abruptly and walked to her boyfriend - "How co you think I'm going to allow you to go to that dangerous place!"
"I'm sorry, but I'm not going to change my mind" - Lindow replied as he looked at his girlfriend and made her let go of him.
"Then I'm going with you!" - Sophia exclaid as she looked Lindow straight in the eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I need you here along with the other mbers of the [First Unit]!" - Lindow replied as he closed his eyes.
"You have to be crazy if you think we're going to accept that, Otouto" said Tsubaki with a frown.
"I'm not kidding, Tsubaki" - said Lindow as he looked at his older sister, then looked at Sophia and finally at the other mbers of her squad - "You guys need to be here because we have the most experience fighting those things, and I need to go because I'm the most qualified to do so"
"Lindow" - Houki said with a frown.
"No, you guys need to rest, not to ntion that your armants need to recharge energy, don't they?" - Lindow replied while looking at the two won curiously.
". . ." - Houki and Tatenashi were silent, after all, this was sothing they hadn't reported.
"I'm not going to accept it" - Sofia muttered as she ran off with tears in her eyes.
Tsubaki and Sakuya looked at each other before leaving behind the blonde woman, but not before giving the idiot of their leader a glare.
"You're being a jerk, Lindow" - Soma said as he sat down with a frown - "You're hurting the person who loves you the most."
"I'm doing it for your sake, now we'd better continue with this conversation" - said Lindow while looking at the people present especially Tatenashi and Houki because he didn't want to be interrupted with aningless matters - "Good, now I think it's ti for you to say so candidates to join , rember that there have to be only 5 counting "
"Let Sofia join," Houki said as she folded her arms.
Lindow's eyebrow twitched slightly, but he still waited for the woman to continue.
"She is not only strong, but her skills are so of the best we have, being a good support for your mission and increasing the chances of success" - Houki replied as she put down her point.
"That's why it's necessary for her to stay" - Lindow answered without a second thought.
"I'm sorry to tell you that's not necessary" - said Tatenashi with a huge smile on her face - "And I'm sure she won't want to stay either and will follow you on the sly, producing a possible failure in your mission."
". . ." - Lindow was silent for a few seconds before sighing regretfully - "Ok, she can co with ."
"Well, the next thing left is" - Tatenashi said with a smile as she noticed her leader's expression.

"That jerk, that idiot, that damn airhead" - muttered Sofia as she bit her lip, only to let out a sigh. She knew she shouldn't act this way, more so in a situation as delicate as this one, but the heart was sothing that couldn't be controlled.
Sofia was sure that the dangers that her boyfriend would go through on the outside, would not be less than what they would go through during the battle, in fact, she was sure that he would be in a greater danger.
"No, no matter what he says, I'm going to follow him even if he hates " - Sofia muttered seriously as she clenched her fist. She wouldn't let sothing happen to her boyfriend when she could do sothing to prevent it.
"I don't think it's necessary for you to have to follow him on the sly" - Sakuya said as she appeared behind her companion and put her hand on her shoulder - "Knowing how Houki and Tatenashi are, I'm sure they have to be giving our idiot leader a hard ti."

"I have to thank those two" - sighed Sofia after calming down and realizing with embarrassnt how erratic she had acted - "Ugh, now I feel like I won't be able to look the higher ups in the face ever again."
"Relax, I'm sure they'll understand" - Tsubaki replied calmly as she tried to make her friend relax again - "Although I have to admit that I'm grateful to you, Sofia-san, thank you for caring about my jerk of a younger brother"
"You don't have to thank , Tsubaki-san, I do it because I love him, not because I expect gratitude in return" - Sofia replied with a red face.
"It's good to hear that my brother managed to get soone as good as you" - Tsubaki-san said while shaking her head.
"Well, I'm sorry I have to leave you, but I have a lot of things to prepare for the mission" - said Sofia as she ran to her room and start preparations so she could leave right away.
"I guess it's just us left" - said Tsubaki as she looked at her friend and rival - "I'm still a little uncomfortable in my private parts".
"I know, Cloud was an animal" - Sakuya replied as she hissed with a red face, though she quickly shook her head as she started to worry about the blonde who was resting after that cruel battle she had with Johannes - "Ugh, now I'm worried"
"Relax, when we survive this, we can be together with our man" - Tsubaki replied as she looked at her friend with a smile - "Now co on, we have to take a break."
"Right, we have to take a rest" - replied Sakuya while nodding - "Unless we want to be a burden to our partners."

"I see he's still not awake" - said Alisa as she approached where the blond who was with his eyes closed.
"His vitality is a bit strange" - Shio said as she frowned. She had managed to regain her human appearance, but her size was still that of a girl, only about 6 years old.
