"I-I didn't do anything!" - Daisuke exclaid as he feigned fear - "I-I didn't do anything wrong!"

Shizuku gritted her teeth, but her expression changed as she watched the [Behemoth] let out a roar before leaping into the abyss behind the blond.

"Perfect!" - Daisuke exclaid in thought - "If the fall doesn't kill it, then that thing will!"

ld gritted his teeth before ordering a retreat, however not before giving Daisuke a hostile look because even he could sense the situation.

He was aware of the hostility Daisuke had against the blond, he could also sense the killer instinct, however, this was not the ti to say anything. He could give him a pertinent punishnt when they returned to a safe place, however, for now they had to escape or they would end up at the bottom of [Orcus] like the unfortunate blond.

"Cloud!" - Kaori exclaid tearfully as she was dragged away by Rika.

Kouki was silent with a strangely satisfied expression, however at the sa ti, a small part of him felt disgusted that he was happy that it was all over.

The students quickly escaped the room as they watched the floor finish crumbling.

Everyone was happy to have made it out alive, except for a few who were glaring hostilely at Daisuke, who was playing scared.

"Why, why did you do that?" - Kaori asked tearfully.

"It was an accident!" - Daisuke exclaid as he trembled.

It was at that mont that the students understood that there was sothing wrong with all of this.

"Huh? Where's CC?" - Suzu asked as she looked around and didn't see Cloud anywhere.

Eri frowned as well because she knew how skilled the blond was.

"Why did you attack Cloud!" - Kaori exclaid as she glared angrily at Daisuke.

"It was an accident, I was so terrified I didn't aim properly!" - Daisuke exclaid.

Everyone understood the situation and why Kaori, Shizuku, Rika, and ld, glared angrily at their classmate.

"Accident? Don't make laugh, even an infant could notice the killer instinct behind that attack" - snorted Rika neutrally as she pointed her bow at the boy - "Now, give a reason not to put an arrow in your eye."

Daisuke was terrified when he heard this because he could tell the girl was serious.

"Calm down, I'm sure it was all an accident" - Kouki interjected as he looked around, trying to calm his companions.

"You sure must be happy about this, with Cloud gone, Kaori can now focus on you, right?" - Rika said sarcastically as she lowered her bow neutrally - "You know what, I'm not even going to attack you, I'm sure soone else will enjoy tornting you."

"W-What are you talking about?" - Daisuke asked as he trembled in terror.

"That if you think Cloud is dead with just that, then let give you the bad news" - Rika replied as she silently retreated.

Kaori didn't say anything else, she just gave Daisuke a furious glare, then looked at Kouki regretfully before following Rika.

"And then you ask, why she doesn't love you" - Shizuku said disapprovingly.

Kouki frowned in frustration, but said nothing in response.

"You shot yourself in the foot, Kouki" - said Ryutaro while shaking his head.

"I hate this shit" - muttered Cloud as he groaned in pain from the igneous impact he had received, though his expression changed to a serious one when he saw how the [Behemoth] was roaring in his direction - "Tch!"

Cloud quickly drew his pistol and began firing at full speed as he fell.

The [Behemoth] let out a roar of pain as blood spurted everywhere.

Cloud was surprised at how effective his weapon had been, though this was perhaps due to the fact that far from using normal tal, if not a much more resilient tal, as for the ammunition, the powder was made by a mineral from this world as well, which was much more explosive.

"Well, at least with this I can check how powerful it is" - Cloud muttered as he aid straight at the [Behemoth]'s head and fired without thinking about the amount of ammunition he had.

The [Behemoth] let out a sharp groan of pain as it fell limp.

Cloud let out a sigh of relief as a huge grin appeared on his face, though his expression changed when he rembered that he was falling with the corpse of a huge beast on top of him.

The damage from the fall was enough to kill him, but if by so chance he were to survive, then the body of the [Behemoth] falling on him would kill him.

Cloud quickly pulled out a rope and a piece of tal that he had kept in one of his pockets, and used them to create a kind of hook.

Without a second thought, he threw the hook at the monster, and when he finally saw that it was secure, he began to pull.

Slowly, he began to approach the body of the [Behemoth] until he was finally able to scale its hulking corpse.

"Well, at least with this now I won't have to worry about being crushed to death, though that doesn't an I'm safe" - Cloud muttered as he clung to the corpse of his first prey, completely ignoring the amount of levels he had climbed.

Ti moved slowly as Cloud was unsure how long he had been falling, though from the level of illumination, he was sure it would all be over soon.

He moved carefully so as to prevent the wind produced by his fall from sending him flying, and watched the ground carefully, only to see how he was about to fall into a huge lake.

"If I rember correctly, the world gave the fate of the protagonist, in other words, this is the way he survived" - Cloud muttered while frowning because more than a lake, it looked like a powerful current - "If I fall here, I will possibly end up much more at the bottom of this labyrinth, but I will also be closer to completing it."

Cloud pondered for a few seconds before deciding it was best to accept the natural course of things.

Slowly, he used his hook to release himself from the [Behemoth]'s body and began to "fly" thanks to his lighter weight.

With this, he watched as the [Behemoth]'s body was dragged by the current of the lake towards the bottom of the labyrinth.

Cloud quickly closed his eyes and held his breath because he was only a few ters away from the lake.

With the distance reduced, the damage was almost nil, though it still hurt like hell, at least for his human body.

Slowly, everything around him was surrounded by darkness as the water dragged him against his fate, though he wasn't terrified, one, because he had been through worse, and two, because he had the equipnt and experience to survive, though he still had yet to et the fate of the protagonist at the bottom of [Orcus], but with this he just had to follow his instincts.

"What!" - Aiko exclaid in terror and fury when she heard what had happened. She quickly went to Daisuke and faced him to hear why he had done sothing so heinous.

Daisuke quickly excused himself that with the fear and pressure, he had not been able to aim properly, and that it was not his fault that Cloud could not dodge an attack.

The opinion of the survivors was divided.

One group was sure it was intentional, however, there was nothing they could do to fix things, while the other group was indifferent to the death of one of the people responsible who had managed to organize things.

Kaori was depressed about the uncertain fate of the blond, however, thanks to the support of Shizuku and Rika, she managed to get back to normal, or at least as normal as possible.

Kouki tried to comfort her, however Kaori didn't want to see him, this made Eri happy, although inside she was cursing Kaori for how jealous she was that she was stealing all the attention of her beloved hero.

After being unable to co to a conclusion, Aiko quickly left quietly because she didn't want to see anyone.

ld tried to approach, but Aiko ignored him.

The poor cavalry squad leader, could only curse and bla himself for the death of an innocent, and for the lack of justice because the one responsible had not been punished.

Liliana was also a bit saddened by the loss of this strange boy who could have been considered part of the royal family by his appearance and attitude.

"Cloud" - Kaori murmured regretfully as she looked out the window.

"Relax, he's fine" - Rika said with a smile.

"How can you be so sure?" - Kaori asked with a frown.

"Because if he was dead, I wouldn't be here" - muttered Rika as she closed her eyes.

"What was it you said?" - Kaori asked as she didn't hear the answer from the girl who had known Cloud for much longer.

"It's nothing, I was just thinking that idiots always survive" - replied Rika with a small smile - "And that blond guy is a complete idiot".

"Right, he is an idiot" - smiled Kaori as she thanked the purple haired girl for her help.

Shizuku was listening to the conversation from the entrance with her arms crossed, though her concern could also be noticed.
