"Maybe we should have brought Shizuku with us, Tio-san," said Shea as she frowned at how the humans were looking at them with desire after noticing how they didn't have a necklace.

Tio kept silent because it was better to ignore the stares and concentrate on the job they had to do, finding a good bard.

"Hey, you!" - One man exclaid as he walked over to the two girls, though his expression changed to one of terror when he noticed the cold stare of the dragon woman, to the point where he fell on his butt on the ground and pissed his trousers.

The other n who had thought of trying their luck in trying to get this semi-human duo, gave up because it was obvious that they were strong, otherwise they would not have walked so freely through the streets of the empire.

"Let's see, maybe we could go to the adventurer's guild, that place is possibly the least xenophobic place in this city" - said Tio as she started thinking - "Besides, we don't have ti to waste with these humans."

"You're right" - nodded Shea as the two girls walked towards the place where the adventurer's guild was, lucky the place was signposted.

"Is this true?" - asked obese man with a huge grin when he heard the news of the appearance of a rabbit woman in the city, after all, he had lost his slave a few months ago and wished to fill that gap.

"Yes, lf-sama, and from what I managed to hear, she is much more beautiful than the woman he got before" - replied the soldier while looking at the nobleman.

"Interesting... I want you to capture her as soon as possible, I don't care what thod you need to use" - lf replied while smiling excitedly, after all, rabbit girls were his favourite, mostly because they were emotionally weak, in other words, easy to control and corrupt.

"So what do we do with the other woman?" - The soldier asked as he ducked his head.

"They can do whatever they want with her, I don't care" - snorted lf as he narrowed his eyes - "Unless you are keeping information about her from ".

"No, lf-sama, I've told you everything I know" - replied the soldier with a huge amount of sweat running down his forehead, after all, he knew that if he talked about Tio's beauty, this dirty nobleman was going to want her too, and this was the only chance to be able to have fun with soone like her.

"Go, I want that doe as soon as possible" - lf said neutrally.

"I'm sorry to tell you that we haven't heard of any bard in this city" - said the receptionist after seeing the girls' adventurer cards - "You would have to go to the culture and trade guild."

"Culture and trade?" - Tio repeated in surprise.

"Yes, lately the rchants have been using bards, dancers and the like to promote their products, that's why they are the ones who have to know the most about bards in this city" - replied the receptionist as she started to think and write on a sheet of paper - "Although because of their races it will be a bit difficult to talk to the president of the association, with this letter the receptionist of that place will help you".

"Thank you very much" - Tio said with a small smile, although her expression changed when she felt a few hostile glances. She threw a signal to Shea to act normal, which the rabbit girl accepted - "When we solve our problem, we'll co and thank you."

"You don't have to thank , the job of the adventurer's guild receptionist is to help the mbers, not to ntion that you have done a lot for us" - smiled the receptionist as she said goodbye - "It was a pleasure talking to you, hope to see you again soon"

Tio nodded before leaving the building with Shea.

The two walked towards an alleyway, when they heard a man's voice.

"What are two non-human won doing in this place so far away from their people?" - The leader of the group asked with a huge, lust-filled grin.

"They should leave before things get out of hand..." - Tio said as she shook her head.

"Oh, believe , things are about to get out of hand," said another man as he licked his lips.

Shea let out a sigh because this wasn't the first ti this had happened, although it was still annoying and disgusting.

"Stop talking and let's go have so fun," said another man as the group began to let out a disturbing laugh, though this disappeared when they heard the shout of one of their group - "Ambush!"

Tio and Shea shook their heads at the very novice actions of their "attackers". They had sensed the presence of the second group since they entered the adventurers' guild, but these weaklings didn't even notice that the second attackers were breathing down their necks.

"I warned them" - said Tio as she shook her head.

"Was it you?" - exclaid the leader of the group as he watched another of his brothers fall from an arrow to the head.

"In the least, we are not to bla, they are n who have the sa goal as you" - replied Tio with disgust - "Now if you'll excuse , we have a job to do".

"You're not going anywhere!" - roared the leader of the group of thugs because it was obvious that he was not going to sacrifice the deaths of his brothers without benefit.

Tio let out a sigh as she shook her head - "You really don't get it?"

"I guess not... I guess he's letting his base instincts make the decision of his actions" - Shea replied as she shook her head.

"Umu, you're right, that's probably what's going through his mind right now" - sighed Tio for the second ti - "Ok, I'll get straight to the point.... How do you think we managed to find out you were chasing us and walked to a remote place so you could kill each other?"

The leader of the crooks opened his eyes, surprised because now that he heard this woman's words, sothing sparked inside him - "Y-You..."

Tio gave him a blank look while Shea shook her head, after all, they couldn't take these guys seriously when until recently they had been in front of Ehit's apostles.

"Co on, Shea-san" - said Tio as she looked at her friend.

"Sure" - nodded Shea as the two of them disappeared without the leader of the thugs being able to do anything about it.

"Boss, we can't go on like this!" - One thief exclaid as he looked at his leader.

"Let's escape, we don't have to keep fighting with those sons of bitches!" - exclaid the leader of the thugs, though his expression changed when he saw a man appear in front of him - "Ben..."

"Seriously, I didn't expect you to be the one to get in the middle of my business, Kyan" - said Ben as he shook his head - "Anyway, where are those demi-humans?"

"I have no idea, they disappeared before I could capture them" - Kyan replied as he frowned - "And now that they're gone, there's no need for us to keep fighting."

"That's where you're wrong, Kyan," said Ben with a huge grin, "You've been involved in a lot of my work, so this is a good ti for to eliminate a certain... inconvenience to my future plans."

"If you want to kill , you know very well that it won't be that easy," Kyan said as he drew his two daggers, "What's more, I may die, but you will go down with , and we both know that's not a good idea, not when the other criminal leaders want your won."

Ben was silent before clicking his tongue - "Ok, you can go..."

Kyan kept his wits about him, after all, there was no way he was going to trust a bastard like Ben.

"Do you know where those two won might be?" - Ben asked as he signalled for his n not to attack Kyan's underlings.

"I haven't the slightest idea, and if I did, I'd tell you right away," Kyan replied disdainfully.

"That doesn't make sense," Ben said with a frown.

Kyan didn't justify why, he simply retreated with his subordinates.

"I want a kill count," Ben said neutrally.

"My lord, we have lost 20 brothers" - replied the subordinate as he looked back.

"Tch, never mind, if we get those two won our lives will improve" - said Ben as he ignored the deaths of his subordinates, after all, if they died it was because they were useless.

One of Ben's subordinates clenched his fist because one of those who died was none other than his blood brother.

"Calm down, don't do anything stupid" - said another man as he put his hand on the man of the subordinate who was lanting the death of his brother - "If you do anything, even I won't be able to save you".

"I know..." - replied the minion as he let out a heavy sigh, wondering how he was going to tell about this to his family..
