Now reading: Chapter 288 The Spirit Art Tournament from SSS Awakening: I Can Class Change at will, a Game novel by Risaliyah.

Moon's expression beca thoughtful as he considered the question. "I'd like to complete it within a month, but I'm not entirely certain of the exact ti-line yet. Why do you ask?"

Selene's face grew troubled, and she mumbled quietly, "A month... that's quite a long ti. You might not be able to participate, then."

Moon tilted his head in confusion. "Participate in what?"

"You don't know? You really haven't been keeping up with recent news, have you..." Selene said with mild exasperation.

Moon shook his head, acknowledging his lack of attention to current events.

"Well, I'm referring to the Spirit Art Tournant that's held annually by the Awakener's Association. The tournant is so highly sought after—Evolvers literally drop everything they're doing just to participate and compete for the grand prize—sothing that every Evolver desperately needs and wishes they could obtain."

Moon beca visibly intrigued by her description. He'd never heard of such a tournant before. "All Evolvers want it? What could the prize possibly be to generate that level of interest?"

Selene grinned with obvious excitent. "A Sacred Rank Spirit Art."

"..." Silence overtook the room.

"Why aren't you excited?" Selene asked in exasperation, before understanding flashed in her eyes. "Oh no, don't tell ..."

She stared at him incredulously. "You don't know what Spirit Arts are, do you?"

"I don't," Moon admitted, scratching the back of his head in embarrassnt. He'd been wanting to learn more about the Second Sanctuary recently, but ti had been scarce between hunting S-rank beasts and searching for any traces of Supre-rank creatures—sothing that was proving rather difficult.

"Selene, what are Spirit Arts? Can you tell us?" Yara asked with wide, curious eyes that blinked like an eager child waiting for a bed-ti story.

Selene nodded enthusiastically. "Spirit Arts are one of the important foundations of strength in the Second Sanctuary. They represent the true beginning of your journey toward real power."

Her hands moved in the air, clearly enjoying sharing her knowledge with her friends that sat waiting like eager students.

"Spirit Arts are divided into four distinct rankings: Ordinary, Fair, Excellent, and finally Sacred Rank—which is the ultimate prize of the tournant I ntioned."

"That sounds impressive and all, but what are Spirit Arts actually used for?" Moon interrupted, his curiosity getting the better of his patience.

"Well, if you'd let finish, I would have gotten to that," Selene smirked, clearly amused by Moon's obvious eagerness to understand sothing so fundantal to his future advancent.

"The rankings are based on the number of Spiritual Acupoints that each Spirit Art reveals to you within your own body. As for these Spiritual Acupoints, they are specialized energy centers that you'll spend your entire ti in the Second Sanctuary trying to open and fill with spiritual power."

She paused to ensure they were following the concept.

"I don't want to overwhelm you with information right now, and you'll understand the chanics much better once you actually evolve and experience it firsthand.

But just know that the ranking of a Spirit Art will determine how far you'll ultimately progress in the Second Sanctuary—whether you can eventually beco a Surpasser and potentially an Ascender later on, or whether you'll remain an Evolver for the rest of your life."

She took a quick paused before continuing, "Ordinary Spirit Arts reveal 10 Spiritual Acupoints within your body.

Fair Spirit Arts show you 25 Spiritual Acupoints.

Excellent Spirit Arts reveal 50 Spiritual Acupoints.

And Sacred Spirit Arts—the absolute pinnacle—show you 89 Spiritual Acupoints."

Moon's expression imdiately beca serious her words sank into his brain. These weren't just minor advantages—this was fundantal information that would shape his entire future developnt path.

"When did you say the tournant starts?" Moon asked, focusing on the tournant.

"In approximately one month. The major issue is that even if you manage to evolve in ti, you'll be competing against much more experienced Evolvers who already have many Spiritual Acupoints opened and potentially filled with spiritual energy."

"Is the gap between those with acupoints filled and not that big?" Yara asked this ti.

Selene's expression grew more serious before answering Yara's question, "The power gap between different levels of Evolvers is completely unlike anything you've seen among awakeners. "

"It's the comparison between the sky and the earth. Even a single additional opened Acupoint makes a big erence in combat power, and as a newly evolved Evolver, you would only have one acupoint accessible initially."

"What's the maximum number of acupoints allowed for tournant participants?" Moon asked.

"Fifty. Anyone who doesn't already possess a Sacred-rank Spirit Art is eligible to compete."

"So people with only one opened acupoint could potentially face opponents who have fifty..." Moon muttered thoughtfully, already calculating the seemingly impossible odds.

"Exactly right. This is why the tournant is incredibly difficult and simultaneously one of the most anticipated competitive events in the Evolver world."

Moon nodded grimly, acknowledging that his chances would indeed be extrely slim under such circumstances as a new Evolver.

"Why can't soone simply purchase a Sacred-rank Spirit Art? Are they too rare, or does the Association control their distribution?"

"It's a combination of both factors, but primarily because they're incredibly rare to discover. And once found, very few people are willing to sell them," Selene explained. "Most individuals who acquire Sacred-rank Spirit Arts prefer to keep them as precious family heirlooms for future generations. On the very low chance they decide to sell, they sell them directly to the Awakener's Association, which uses them either to strengthen their own elite forces or to provide prizes for tournants like this one."

Moon absorbed this information, beginning to formulate plans for how he might approach such a challenging competition despite the overwhelming disadvantages he'd face as a newcor.

The stakes were clearly enormous, and the potential rewards could transform his entire advancent trajectory. But first, he needed to actually complete his evolution requirents and beco an Evolver.

The tiline was tight, and he needed to get back to work, as soon as possible.
