Now reading: Chapter 106: Moonlight Wolves from SSS Awakening: I Can Steal Attributes, a Fantasy novel by NeilAds.

The howl of the wolves was like music of life to the ears of Desther, but for Noah, though, it felt like the music of death.

From the looks of it, the Moonlight Wolf he just killed was just a scout of an even larger wolf pack.

’Even better then...’

Desther planned to test the capability of his class.

Although testing Supre Form would be diabolical and overkill, Desther could at least test his Supre Body and Supre Battle Art as well as the Supre Will, right?

The next mont, multiple Moonlight Wolves ca into their view.

Even though he had already killed countless monsters before, Noah still felt like peeing himself upon seeing such a lot of Moonlight Wolf in front of him.

’The boss should be able to kill them all, right?’

What he did not know was that Desther’s strength had once again increased just a mont ago.

Not to ntion that, even before his Tier up, he would still be able to defeat these monsters with minimal effort.

Desther counted the Moonlight Wolves present.

His gaze scanned them all and, in an instant, imdiately realized that there were actually fifteen of them.

Situated at the back was a larger wolf with a distinct forehead pattern on its head.

’That should be the Full Moonlight Wolf, then.’

The leader of the pack was present and ready to command the others to attack.

Normally, this would have been a threatening situation, but since Desther was there, having a Full Moonlight Wolf amidst their group would not make any difference.

AWOOO!

The Full Moonlight Wolf howled toward its pack.

From the looks of it, that was an order to attack.

The ordinary Moonlight Wolves responded with a howl before they sprinted toward Desther and Noah at full speed.

Staring at them, insights on how to fight them suddenly surfaced in his mind.

As if he had already fought them countless tis before, Desther instinctively knew what he needed to do as of this mont.

Without rejecting the sudden insights he received, he moved forward and arrived in front of the charging wolves in an instant.

Taken aback by his sudden arrival, the Moonlight Wolves abruptly stopped their charge.

Their paws dragged on the ground in panic.

In the distance, a sudden howl was heard, and the disoriented wolf pack imdiately settled down.

The marks on their forehead glowed with resplendent light, and in the next mont, multiple blades made of crescent light shot toward Desther like rain.

For the current Desther, avoiding such slow attacks was as easy as breathing.

Normally, he would surely dodge it to avoid any accidents as well.

However, wanting to test the limits of his current body and attributes, he decided to tank them all.

Not wanting to damage his hoodie and his pants that much, though, he brought up his palm and tried to block the incoming crescent blades made of moonlight with it.

Desther had already calculated the damage output of these crescent blades.

These wolves were just around level 8 to 10.

He used his Theft Mark to the ten of them all at once.

Their highest attributes were their intelligence and wisdom, with the highest value being around 45 to 48.

Even if their highest attribute was double that, Desther did not think that they would be able to damage him significantly with their attacks.

It was even more so since they were weakened by his Attribute Theft skill.

Not to ntion the fact that he now has the Supre Body, which literally made it even stronger and more durable than a tank.

His attributes could also crush them a few tis over.

All in all, Desther felt that he should be safe.

And indeed he was right.

The mont the first crescent blade landed on his palm, he did not even feel anything, not even an itch.

A breeze flew by, blowing the lace of his hoodie, but that was it.

The crescent blade dissipated without doing anything toward him.

A smile surfaced on his face.

He saw the incoming crescent blades and imdiately slapped them with his palm.

Each crescent blade was made of moonlight painstakingly gathered by the Moonlight Wolves.

However, Desther resolved them imdiately with just a wave of his palm.

It was so absurd to look at that even Noah felt like he was dreaming.

If he did not know in advance that Desther was truly strong, he would have surely thought that the person in front of him was not Desther and instead soone else pretending to be him.

On the other hand, the Moonlight Wolves stared dumbfounded at the scene as well.

Their mind went blank as they comically stared at their leader in the back.

Unfortunately, the Full Moonlight Wolf seed to be as dumbfounded as them as of this mont.

It stared at the scene with wide eyes and was not able to recover in ti either.

When it ca to it, the Full Moonlight Wolf had realized that one of its minions had already died.

Its neck was gripped by Desther as though it was a child.

The Moonlight Wolf struggled in his hand, but it was to no avail.

He squeezed his grip a little, and at the next mont, the neck of the Moonlight Wolf exploded into a shower of blood.

’Damn it! I got careless. My hoodie is now covered in blood.’

Desther indeed did not expect that the neck of the Moonlight Wolf would be that easy to break.

As the Theft Mark returned, he cast it into another Moonlight Wolf while he took a step forward toward another one.

This ti, Desther did not bother to grab it by its neck and instead kicked its head with his right foot.

As if it were kicking a ball, the Moonlight Wolf’s head wobbled along with its body and was thrown a few ters away.

Having controlled his strength according to the wolf’s capability this ti, the wolf he just kicked did not burst into a puddle of blood and was still intact when it landed on the ground. By the ti it dropped to the ground, it was already dead, and another Theft Mark returned to Desther, which he imdiately cast to another Moonlight Wolf nearby.

It did not take long for Desther to finish them all one after the other.

The fourteenth one looked a little small compared to the others. Upon casting a skill on it, he realized that its highest attribute was only a third compared to its companions.

Catching it barehanded, Desther threw the scared Moonlight Wolf toward Noah and said, "You should have already observed their attack pattern, right? Try to kill this one on your own."

The Moonlight Wolf landed a few ters away from Noah.

Noah gulped a mouthful of saliva in nervousness but nevertheless raised his bat and the shield before charging forward.

On the other hand, Desther turned to look at the leader Full Moonlight Wolf in the distance.

As of this mont, the leader still had not fully realized what just had occurred.

Its intelligence was obviously higher compared to its underlings, but it could just not comprehend what had just happened in the short term.

When it felt the gaze of Desther, the Full Moonlight Wolf imdiately sensed death looming over its head.

It instinctively shivered and imdiately turned around to run.

Heck, it ca here thinking that a snack had delivered itself on its plate.

However, when they arrived in the area, not even a full two minutes had passed, but all of his underlings were already gone.

If it did not escape, it would surely be the one to croak next.

Unlike its subordinates that only waited for orders, the Full Moonlight Wolf was already smart enough to escape if it sensed danger beyond what it could handle.

Normally, though, escaping would have been a good strategy. If not for the fact that it was facing Desther, that is.

Desthere rely looked at its escaping figure without making a move.

Wanting to test his current limits, he allowed the creature to escape, but he was actually planning to pursue it later.

His gaze did not leave the wolf’s figure. Its distance was constantly being registered and updated inside his mind.

By the ti it escaped two hundred ters away, Desther finally felt that it was already ti to begin the hunt.

And so, he kicked the ground so hard that dust billowed and cracks surfaced on the ground.

His body shot like an arrow and almost in an instant arrived right beside the Full Moonlight Wolf.

The Full Moonlight Wolf felt the shift in its surroundings and imdiately shivered in fright.

Without thinking, a full disc made of moonlight escaped out of its mouth and shot toward the figure beside it.

Desther rely swatted the wolf’s attack. Like earlier, it did not manage to hurt him at all.

The Supre Body’s enhancent was truly not a joke.

He reckoned that if it were the others, even with such a high attribute, they would still get so scratch on their skin if they ever got struck by such an attack, especially in such a close distance.

In panic, the wolf tried to move away as swiftly as it could. Away from the monster that killed its subordinates without batting an eye.

However, like a leech, Desther always seed to follow it wherever it goes.

The wolf whined in despair. It opened its mouth, preparing to launch its most powerful attack.

At the next mont, though, its mouth was gripped and forcibly closed by a strong hand, halting the attack that it was about to form.

And then...

And then that was the last scene that it could rember before its mind went blank.
