Each cycle of absorption hamred Damon’s fra, tearing it down only to rebuild it stronger, denser, and sharper. It looked like absorbing the abyssal essence was in itself a type of forging for his body.
A thick stream of abyssal essence steadily flowed into him while another smaller stream steadily flowed into the egg. At the sa ti, he could feel his body exploding in strength, his stats gaining another huge leap thanks to all the abyssal monsters he had fard.
When Damon finally opened his eyes, he saw a few notifications staring at him.

Damon gaped in shock. The wyrm and the tide of abyssal monsters had actually pushed him all the way to level 100, and he even managed to get an achievent to boot.
Damon already knew about the First to Break the Shackles achievent. In his last life, he did not think much of the achievent because gaining extra stat points was a huge pain in the ass. He even thought it was such a waste because it was not giving anything more.
But now this sa achievent was a big ass boost for him. His body’s limitations had further been loosened. He can take in more stats now. With his bottomless capacity for devouring essence and converting it into raw stats, this small 5% increase was massive.
This was a weapon. Another player who had clawed their way to Level 100 wouldn’t even be able to scratch him. In fact, these raw stats would undoubtedly help his body’s foundation house his primordial core even more comfortably.
It was probably not enough to completely fix his body, but it was a step in the right direction. His gaze then shifted to the blinking question. Did he want to publicly announce his level 100 achievent? Hell yes!
The next second, a series of world notifications rang out, which Damon ignored and once again shut down the system interface.
He had a lot more important matters to deal with now. He spotted his shadow clone in the distance, who was still ticulously collecting all the drops, mainly from the wyrm.
Loot from a wyrm was no less than several epic-grade treasure chests combined together, and it looked like this ti, he had gained a lot.
Damon examined the progress. The last ti around, they hadn’t actually managed to grab a lot of things from the wyrm because of the chaotic nature of the battlefield and the fact that he had beco unconscious.
But this ti things were different. Damon had taken his sweet ti to absorb the blood essence from the wyrm, so much so that his clone had plenty of ti to do the legwork on extracting so materials from the wyrm’s corpse.
In Earth Online, the corpse almost disappears instantly into motes of light, leaving behind only system-issued drops. One way to circumvent it is to keep the beast from dying completely and carefully strip away as much as possible.
It was very cruel and definitely not sothing for the light-hearted. However, many players did not care about those things. Items ant money, and money was required for livelihood. Leaving behind a couple of dollars to be kind to monsters was not sothing many did.
And his clone had no qualms about being as ruthless as it needed to be. It had already taken out the beast core, most of the beast scales, and even so of the beast at and beast bones while Damon had been absorbing the essence.
Now that he was done with the essence, the wyrm’s body had already disappeared into motes of light. He even got three additional drops. Unlike the ssy piles his clone had stripped from the wyrm’s husk, these were system-forged rewards.

Damon quickly equipped the scale armor and pocketed the other two. "Not bad. Two epic items and one unknown item. Draconic beasts are indeed the best treasure chests." He grinned and then started looking at the other pile of drops his clone had collected.
These were from around the battlefield and the wave of abyssal spawn he had slaughtered. It was mostly made of abyssal beast cores and so item drops from the knights. It was not much, but it couldn’t be ignored either.
Damon looked at his clone, who was still busily collecting the drops. At this rate, this was not going to end any ti soon. In the distance, he heard a few abyssal hounds wandering around.
Damon thought about it for a mont and imdiately rushed to them. This ti, however, he did not kill them imdiately. Instead, he tried the skill [Ta].
Normally, this would result in an instant failure, but since he had amassed so amount of abyssal affinity by now, he decided to give it a try anyway.
Damon extended his hand, crimson energy flickering across his palm. "[Ta]," he activated the skill. The system prompt flashed across his vision almost instantly.
[Ding! Attempting to Ta Abyssal Hound...]
[Warning! Abyssal creatures cannot be tad by ordinary ans.]
[Calculating... Affinity Detected.]
[Success Rate: 1%.]
Damon frowned, and the next notification ca as expected.
[Ding! The skill Ta has failed to activate.]
Damon looked at the hound pensively for a mont, the beast growling at him in rage as if it was enraged by the very thought of soone like him wanting to ta it. Then he had another idea. He conjured ten blood needles for the ten hounds charging at him.
