Damon did not linger the vampire race hall any longer. With all his rewards squared away and his next quests waiting to be completed, he quickly got out of there. "Where am I going to go for elven blood and divine or holy blood?" He pondered as he walked.
Apart from this there were also other things in his mind. Money. He needed money at the mont. Any way he could achieve both these targets in the next hour before he logged out?
An idea popped into his mind and to make that idea work, he needed to find the right idiot. If Damon rembered correctly, he knew exactly which idiot he needed to go after.
He quickly opened the leaderboards to see if that person registered with the ga yet or not. Surely enough, the wealth leaderboard was exactly as he rembered it with all the familiar nas at the top.
Wait. What?
Damon raised a brow. Blood Wraith? Who the hell was this guy? The top na was supposed to be Goldblade, the walking wallet.
But now?
Blood Wraith was sitting at the number one spot with an absurd amount of early-ga wealth, way more than even a pay-to-win player should have at this point.
"Sothing’s not right..." Damon muttered, narrowing his eyes. He had an idea and opened his in-ga mail. Naturally, almost all of them were hate mail. People had called him all sorts of things.
FoxTail: You cheating bastard. You think you’re so smart finding a bug in the ga? You won’t last long. People are already lining up to gank you, you motherfucking cheater!
ScarletEdge: Rot in hell, Blood God. Better uninstall now before it gets worse.
GraveWalker: Nice tricks, asshole. Hope you can pull more out of your ass when the real players start hunting you down.
Damon skimd through the flood of hate mail, barely paying attention. How could all of these people call him so many horrible things? Did he ask them to crowd around the world boss and get killed?
With a smile, he quickly deleted the bunch of garbage mail. He then continued scanning and scanning and scanning until he arrived at the few mails from Blood Wraith, the current top golden wallet.
Blood Wraith: Bro, how do you like my nick na? You are Blood God and I am Blood Wraith. Bro, I am a big fan of yours!"
Damon frowned. Maybe this was not the person he was thinking of?
He then read the next few ssages.
Blood Wraith: "Bro, can we et up? I would really like to et my idol! I will make it worth your ti!"
Blood Wraith: "Bro, please. I am afraid of getting hurt. Can you help level?"
Blood Wraith: "Bro, I just got an amazing secret quest. Please help out. I guarantee you won’t lose out."
Seeing these ssages, Damon was finally sure that he was indeed the sa person from his last life, Golden Blade. The sa gullible, eager-to-please, bottomless-wallet fool who had practically painted a target on his back in Damon’s past life.
Only this ti, he’d changed his na as Blood Wraith.
"A fan, huh?" Damon chuckled as he started writing a reply to the guy.
"I can help you level. et in the outskirts of Niera city."
And just as he thought, Blood Wraith instantly replied to him. "Bro, I am soooo sorry. For this quest, I need to be in the Garth city. Can you co here instead? I am sending you so gold coins for the teleportation cost."
The very next second Damon received 500 gold coins. An exorbitant amount of sum!
Damon stared at the notification. 1 gold coin equalled 50 US dollars. 500 gold coins. Just casually sent over for teleportation fees.
That was 25,000 real-world dollars—enough to buy a used car or pay months of rent—and this idiot had wired it to him without a second thought.
His fingers twitched. Just how rich was this guy?
He shook his head helplessly and walked over to the Niera city’s teleportation portals.
The teleportation plaza in Niera City bustled with life—players shouting in local chat, rchants hawking overpriced potions, newbies staring at glowing portals with wide eyes. Damon ignored it all.
He walked through the chaos like a shadow, his mind razor-focused. He reached the teleportation crystal embedded into the ground, its surface flickering with options. With a flick of his fingers, he selected Garth City.
The portal cost? Barely 50 gold coins.
And yet the guy had sent him 500 gold coins! This was the attitude of a true whale!
Damon again let out a sigh and used the portal before he popped up in Garth city. A lot of people were hunting for him in Niera city so it was good to change it up once in a while. Besides, he could think of so special quests he could attempt in Garth city.
All of that had to wait until he finished with his existing quests.
Damon barely took a step out of the teleportation portal when soone ran upto him with a big smile on his face. The guy was decked in sparkly gear from top to bottom and looked like a walking billboard for "please rob ."
It didn’t even take a second for Damon to recognize him. Golden Blade!
No, Blood Wraith!
"Broooo!" Blood Wraith shouted, his voice carrying across the plaza. Several players turned to stare. "You made it! I knew you wouldn’t ditch , bro! Here, here, look! Do you want to see the amazing quest I got? He He. You will definitely like this."
Damon was dumbfounded. Was this guy an absolute lunatic? Why was he shouting like this in the public exposing all of them? Before he could speak his mind, a hand ca from behind and slapped Blood Wraith loudly on the back.
"Can you not shout like this?" A woman with an incredibly fiery aura stepped forward, her figure and beauty off the charts.
