Potion Mama: Idiot! Can’t you see? This is a special event! 3x exp and rare drops! Even if it is those horrendous monkeys, I am not missing out on this. I am going right away. It should be sowhere on the outskirts of the city. Maybe a world boss would show up!"

The local chat all of a sudden buzzed with activity as all the players in the area started rushing off to find the location of the event.
A 3x experience points event would undoubtedly be a boon this early in the ga. Any player who capitalized on such an event would beco unstoppable because of the montum. They will progressively beco more powerful than the others and amass even more opportunities.
Even better if a guild managed to get in on such an event. The guild could then beco a top guild in the city, just riding on this single advantage.
Everyone understood this. The mont the system-wide notification hit, every ambitious player, solo grinder, and guild rat raced to the outskirts of Garth City like their future depended on it. However, the reality beca painfully clear once they reached the event zone.
MoonlightPupper: "Guys... uh... the monkeys just one-shot my tank pet. It was a rock turtle."
FlaFister: "A rock turtle?! THAT THING HAS 400 BASE DEFENSE!"
DarkSnacc: "I TOLD YOU. LOG. OUT."
GrapeJuiceTank: "Too late. They just turned my party into soup. Literal soup."

Nobody paid attention to the chat and considered the warnings because the lure of 3x EXP was too sweet, too intoxicating. By the ti the first wave of over-eager adventurers arrived, the outer edges of the event zone were already littered with dropped loot.
An unbelievable scene was unfolding in the event zone.
Blood Wraith grinned in glee as he watched one by one getting pumled to death by the stone monkeys. At first, he himself was unsure about the situation, but seeing that his bro was still going strong, he assured himself that there was nothing to worry about.
Damon was steadily taking out the stone monkeys one after the other, just like before.
"This is what I am talking about!"
"Love you, bro!"
"You are my one and only big bro!"
"Blood God and Blood Wraith will rule this world! Ba ha ha ha ha!"
Shouting and cheering loudly, Blood Wraith looked at the pests arriving at their personal event in disdain. Of course, he couldn’t be so obviously rude to won. After all, every woman deserved a knight in shining armor.
He almost ran over to save a damsel in distress when a sharp look from a stone monkey made him apologetically back walk. That damsel in distress ended up getting pelted into a pulp, none of her features even recognizable anymore.
Damon face-pald when he saw this. Now he understood why so many people chased and killed this guy in his last life. He shook his head helplessly and continued killing.
anwhile, more and more players started arriving in the event zone. Despite many dying, others couldn’t help but try their hands. So attempted to kill the monkeys in big party groups and so brought their guild along with them.
Damon could only thank these guys because it made his life a lot easier. When the monkeys found other targets to take out their anger on, he happily used Shadow Step and continued killing them. At the sa ti, his shadow clone was running around and collecting loot.
Naturally, Damon did not plan to just stick with the monkeys. So many new targets had offered themselves to him, why would he just stick to beasts?
"The monkeys aren’t going anywhere any ti soon. I should go and greet all the unwelcod guests." Damon’s crimson eyes swept the battlefield, noting the players scrambling for loot, flinging spells wildly. "Let’s see what kind of skills you lot drop."
He silently appeared behind a healer. "Wrong place. Wrong ti." Before the player could even react, Damon’s claw pierced through their back with surgical precision. A single notification blinked in his vision.

Damon’s lips curled. "Not bad. I could use a patch-up now and then. Wait, can I even use this skill? Can I use all skills from all types of affinities?" He wondered. He had seen many vampires use shadow skills in his past life and didn’t exactly question it too much.
Fire could be sowhat compatible. But holy and divine were completely opposed to his nature.
Vampires were creatures of darkness, their bloodline steeped in curses and night. Holy and divine energies weren’t just incompatible—they were actively harmful. Using them would be like trying to extinguish fire with oil.
And yet, the system had granted him the skill. Not a warning, not a penalty. Just... given. Could he possibly use all the skills because of his unique bloodline?
Damon decided to experint this later. More skills were waiting for him now.
The healer’s body slumped and vanished into a puff of light, leaving a golden bracelet behind. Damon didn’t stop. Shadowstep activated, and he pocketed the bracelet and vanished from sight.
