It took about an entire minute until the sludge finally stopped. Damon was shocked to see that so many impurities had been expelled from his body despite already having forged his body under many different extre conditions.
This was huge. It was way easier to cleanse a mortal body than soone who had already stepped into the realm of C rank.
There was no fancy technique na. There was no muss and fuss. The little fuckers had silently done the job. Not to ntion, he had even reached a Perfect State. What the heck was this? He had never heard of anything like this before!
These parasites were the best!
Could he possibly ta so of them or breed his own? Maybe he could even get a round two of cleansing?
Damon continued to float around in the parasite pit, enjoying the sweet benefits he was receiving on the side. The little guys ticulously continued their work, constantly trying to take over his body and his mind.
At first, it was extrely taxing to fend those off at least ntally, but as ti went by, even that got a little bit easier.
Damon used this chance to take a look at his system interface. He wanted to know what a perfect state ant.
A familiar translucent screen flickered into existence in front of him, its glow steady even in the writhing blackness of the lake. Damon squinted through the last traces of impurity still drifting around him like greasy snowflakes.

Damon’s eyes widened. "...holy shit." The impurities floating off his body suddenly made a lot more sense.
He wasn’t just cleansed or refined or reinforced. He had hit the highest purity possible for his rank. While he was not really familiar with the term Perfect, he knew about exceptional regeneration abilities.
In fact, everyone in the ga knew about this. The trainers in the basic class hall went on and on about this. They talked about the rumored mythical state where all regeneration abilities were off the charts.
So blessed beings in the scriptures were essentially able to fight without ever getting tired or drained as long as there was mana around them. His current state was not that different from what they described.
However, to achieve sothing like that was next to impossible. It required ancestral-grade pills or divine flas, or a once-in-a-lifeti awakening event. This? This was a bunch of shadow worms chewing him like a stress ball.
Damon barked a laugh. Shadow Spa Deluxe Edition.
He kicked idly through the water, still floating as parasites crawled relentlessly across his form, biting, drilling, clawing at him like mindless soldiers trying to break into a fortress that now had a moody dragon perched on top.
And strangely... It was relaxing.
His mind, which was fraying minutes ago, now humd with fluid, effortless clarity. The psychic attacks that once felt like hamrs now bounced off as light taps. His mana core pulsed with clean, silken ease.
For the first ti, his ridians didn’t feel like overused pipes. They felt like polished channels glowing with raw efficiency.
Damon doubted that these parasites alone could have brought about all of these effects. Most probably, his Nine Million Poison Body technique almost got him there, and the parasites helped him jump over the threshold.
He could feel it. His entire body felt different now, like he had just upgraded to a Ferrari. The strain he felt from his primordial mana core had also reduced considerably. Now, even if he lost a couple more seals, it wouldn’t affect him at all.
At the sa ti, his ntal strength was also increasing by leaps and bounds. Shockingly, after a few minutes, he was even able to create another blood avatar for his soul space.
Damon was a lot more excited about this. He imdiately put his two blood avatars to work. Inside his soul space, he made them comb through and analyze every single venom in his body. The two imdiately got to work.
His ntal processing speed had skyrocketed. What used to take days or even weeks of dangerous trial-and-error now flowed like he was reading the back of a cereal box.
Damon wanted to join them, but he held back and focused on the opportunity at hand. He did not know how many more of these parasites were left. He wanted to make good use of them when they were still aplenty.
He silently continued with the flow and kept assimilating all the parasites that ca his way. Soon, minutes turned to hours. He still continued doing what he did, and the parasites kept coming. It was as if they were endless.
"What the hell..." Damon was quite shocked, but he did not complain. The more the rrier. Raising any elental affinity above an A rank was extrely difficult, but these little cuties were still contributing to his shadow affinity.
If he continued just like this for a few more hours, his shadow affinity would even surpass his poison affinity. Damon closed his eyes and greedily continued with his training session.
anwhile....
Sowhere in the vast, wide cosmos, a pair of eyes flashed open, cold, ancient, and imasurably captivating. They were a srizing pair of eyes with white orbs swirling within a void-black sclera, each iris shaped like a collapsing galaxy.
The mont they opened, entire star clusters dimd. Threads of shadow essence, so faint that even gods would fail to notice, vibrated across realities, tugged awake by a single anomaly.
The being inhaled. Nebulae trembled.
"Impossible..."
Imdiately, several figures rushed over to the being, each one of them frighteningly powerful. However, in front of the being, they bowed their head obidiently and waited like re servants.
"Goddess... please give us your order."
The being nodded, a figure materializing from the pitch-black darkness. It was a woman’s figure. "Soone is stealing from my father’s resurrection pool. Find him and kill him imdiately."
