Damon watched as everyone arrived on the other side one after the other. He did not expect it, but in the end, every single one he had invited ended up using the portal and teleporting to the outskirts of the wilderness.
First, Kate and Lirae arrived, practically right after him. Then his followers arrived one by one, Ellora, Kaelthorn, Erin, and Malia. Then Mallana and Green eyes walked in as well. Lastly, Riven stumbled in, looking very unsure.
His family ca in next. Damon had already taken the castle back into his soul space, so he did not really offer them any choice per se. Sylvara and Nevin ca in next, followed by Phoenix, ira, and Blood Wraith.
Blood Wraith was practically giddy with joy, and if it was not for his sister literally holding him back, he would have jumped in earlier. Arya ca in at the end, mainly because she was too timid to cut anyone standing in the line in front of her.
No one really had any thoughts about doing things otherwise. It was very clear from their actions. Then, at the end, a black blur as well bounded into the portal, coming out the other end.
"Master, I am here." Third made his presence known. Damon only gave the guy a nod. He did not particularly rember inviting him, as the guy was not really in danger of being associated with him. But since he was here, Damon did not care.
Damon looked at the whole group and chuckled lightly. "So everyone decided to co, huh? Good. Then let's begin."
Damon was about to lead them away when the portal unexpectedly sputtered again, and three more individuals walked in. Damon imdiately recognized all three of them. How could he not? These were the top three blacksmiths in his last life, each one capable of shaking the entire light faction continent.
Leonel, Mathao, and Holden.
Along with them, his ghost spirit had also arrived, and it quickly settled back into his soul. Damon imdiately felt an energy drain, but it was nothing that couldn't be replenished with a drink of blood. "What are you doing here?" He asked the old vampire.
"Brat, do you think that I don't have ears? You go ahead and burn half the light faction continent with poison, and you expect to risk the lives of my precious disciples?"
Damon chuckled. He really did not believe that these guys were in any danger, and that's why he hadn't warned them. But since they were here…
"Alright. I have also been aning to et you all again and hand over so things. I found so interesting stuff recently." He greeted the three superstars with a nod.
The three young n, unexpectedly, looked extrely nervous to stand in front of him and were very suspiciously quiet. "Did sothing happen?" Damon curiously asked the old vampire through their ntal connection.
For a few seconds, there was no response. The old vampire then awkwardly cleared his throat and blurted out. "I might have said so things to them about you."
"Heh?" Damon was amused.
"Brat, what are you laughing at? You deceived , didn't you? Where is my disciple with the heaven-defying talent? Hmph. Unlike you, I rely told them a few things while leaving out a few other things. Damon raised an eyebrow. A few things?

The old vampire's voice grew even more defensive. "Don't look at like that. I only explained that you were a monstrous prodigy of the highest order, capable of reshaping fate itself, with talent that puts ancient emperors to sha. A little embellishnt. Barely anything."
Damon stared silently.
"…And that you killed ten thousand people without blinking," the old vampire added begrudgingly. "But that was true, so that doesn't count."
Damon continued staring.
"…And that your bloodline was one of the most terrifying things I've ever laid eyes on in my entire undead existence. Which again is technically accurate."
The stare did not stop.
The old vampire finally threw his hands up. "Fine! I may have told them you were cursed, unstable, unpredictable, half-insane, and on the verge of ascending to sothing that would swallow worlds whole! Happy?"
Damon blinked. "You what?"
"And I might have also ntioned that you have t the world forge and were tested by sothing so ancient that it predated many eras."
Damon smiled bitterly.
"Also… cough… cough… all three of them want to beco your followers. They want to turn into vampires and officially accept you as their senior brother."
Damon shot the old vampire a look. The old man sniffed and crossed his arms. "Don't glare at . If anything, I undersold you. I already didn't tell them many details, like the fire sprite you have bound with or your ability to devour and consu what is others."
"…You are unbelievable."
"I learned from you."
Damon gave him a flat stare. The old man gave him a smug one right back.
"Listen, I am all for gaining more talented followers, but I do not want to change their fate too much and alter their paths. I might even end up ruining them in doing so."
"What the hell are you talking about, brat?"
Damon sighed. He looked at the three and the reverence with which they were staring at him. He scratched his chin awkwardly. Did he really want to make them his followers? On one hand, that might give them a significant boost and help them in their path, but on the other… what if it beca the very thing that hindered their progress? It could honestly go either way.
However, he had already changed a lot in their tiline. Their master was now an old vampire ghost? Was there really any point in holding back anymore?
"Alright. I will accept these three as my followers, but would you please stop trying to brainwash, recruit and convert more people? Let them grow at their own pace." Damon shook his head helplessly and started walking. "Let's first find a place to set up camp, and we can talk about everything slowly."
