Damon then asked Kate and Ellora to help the three with their new race and their new bodies. He was curious about what boosts they received, but he decided to look at all those details later. For now, he had more important things to attend to.
Damon did not linger around much and quickly equipped the mask before opening up a Blood Gate straight to the outskirts of Niera City. This would have been impossible before, but thanks to all the vampiric blood he had consud, his Blood Gate skill had been upgraded a few tis.
The upgraded skill was able to shuttle him between the two continents, crossing the vast ocean without any issue. Damon had a feeling that he was rely a few upgrades away from teleporting between entirely different worlds, but those would take a while to achieve. For now, he was very much satisfied with this progress. Once he was on the outskirts of Niera City, the first thing Damon checked was his connection to the blood avatar. Shockingly, the blood avatar was still able to exist, and he was also able to maintain a connection with it without any effort.
There was so drain on his ntal energy, but it was nothing of concern. Damon then proceeded to check if the blood avatar could still absorb blood essence and extract skills, affinities, and stars from the consumption.
Once again, there were no issues with the process. Lastly, he tested out so skills, and that was fine as well. All in all, with or without him, the blood avatar was good to go and farm for him.
Damon grinned. This was a huge deal. Now the amount of ti he had was essentially doubled. With this, his progress would once again explode exponentially. He could achieve many more things in the little ti he had.
Ti had always been his greatest limitation. No matter how talented or ruthless he was, there were only so many hours in a day, only so many places he could be at once. That constraint was gone now. While one of him walked the Light-faction continent wearing the Naless King's mask, the other was grinding, killing, evolving, and harvesting power elsewhere. This was perfect.
Without wasting ti, Damon imdiately shapeshifted into a random no-na player. He then dashed towards the nearest Light Faction city at top speed. It was ti to test out other things and see just how effective this mask really was.
One of the closest light faction cities was Aurelion.
Its white walls rose from the plains, layered with defensive arrays, watchtowers, and radiant banners that fluttered in the wind. The city was usually not heavily patrolled, but considering everything that had happened recently, all thanks to none other than Damon, the city was full of guards.
Despite that, Damon was able to easily cross the big gates and step into the city without any issue. No one bothered to give him a second glance.
"…Beautiful," Damon murmured.
He then arrived at the city's inner gates. Two radiant guards stood beneath a scanning array designed to peel apart disguises, illusions, and aura suppression techniques. Damon paused for a mont before taking a bold step forward.
And just like that, he was able to pass through without a single person raising a brow at him. He simply walked forward, wearing the face and body of a completely forgettable player. The array flared softly. Then… did nothing. The guards waved him through without a word.
Inside the city, life bustled on. Guild recruiters shouted offers, rchants hawked gear and consummables, and adventurers argued over dungeon routes and raid splits. Everything was business as usual.
Of course, the hottest topic and discussion was still Blood God and Blood Domain!
Every player who still remained in the light faction seed to be pretty unsure about it. They were basically on the verge of switching to the dark faction. Most were only discussing things happening in the demon cities.
Damon smiled bitterly. He knew his tactic would be effective, but he did not know that it would be so effective. On the bright side, the light faction now had a lot more won than n. Though the overall player concentration in the city had reduced, many won were walking about the city streets happily without getting harassed every other second.
Damon chuckled and opened up the world chat to look for so intel. It did not take long for him to find the new guild residence of the Northern Frontier guild. It was located in the Evergreen city, far away from the abyssal and the vampiric invasions.
He leaned casually against a stone pillar near the inner plaza, appearing no different from any other bored player checking chats and maps. No one paid him any attention. The Naless Veil wrapped around him perfectly. Not a single trace of his presence or aura leaked out.
"Alright. Ti to take things to the next level and truly test if this thing works." Damon was short on ti. So right now, he could only do things a certain way, a way that involved a lot of risks. At the end of the day, he did not really care if soone found him out. As long as they did not manage to identify him as Blood God, he would still be fine.
Taking a mont to go over his makeshift plan, if it could even be called that, Damon headed straight to the city's teleportation portals. He paid the gold coin required and selected Evergreen City. A bright rune flared up the next instant, and he stepped right on it.
For a second, it almost looked like he was about to be revealed, but the mask held on strongly. He arrived at the other side of the portal without any hitch, his presence and aura still hidden. With a big smile, he walked out of the teleportation center.
Unlike the previous city, Evergreen City still had quite a bit of crowd. Not many players seed to have converted to the dark faction in this city. Damon smiled. He had already expected this. His figure silently disappeared amidst the crowd.
