The more Damon continued to walk under the pressure, the clearer his mind started feeling. Many things that had been haunting him before all of a sudden started feeling less complicated.
Damon almost sat down on the spot and started ditating when he had back to back breakthroughs in so poison issues that had been plaguing his blood avatars. He was instantly able to sort out the poison he needed from the ss and move on to the next set of experints.
If he could actually continue to study his poisons in this kind of atmosphere, then he would definitely progress by leaps and bounds in just a matter of minutes. He might even achieve the unthinkable. Figuring out an actual poison that could strengthen his soul.
Damon's eyes lit up as he continued to mull over various things while at the sa ti pushing himself to take one step after another.
While studying and researching poisons and figuring out how to strengthen his soul were very important, he felt as if he was still quite a bit away from unlocking an actual, aningful result. He did not want to use up all of his ti in this, as there was one more avenue he needed to focus on.
His blood extraction skill.
Damon had already made the necessary preparations, especially for a situation like this. While still moving forward, he took out a flask of blood. The flask was small in size, in appearance but it had the ability to store several litres of blood.
Damon chugged it all down as he continued moving forward. Imdiately, many system notifications popped up in front of him. However, he did not pay attention to any of them. Instead, he paid attention to his own body and what was happening inside him.
Every ti Damon had done this in the past, all he was able to observe was the sudden outburst of power from his blood, or more specifically, his bloodline, as so portions of the blood would get absorbed.
Even though he had tried his best, this was the farthest he could go. Everything beyond was like a black box. Once his blood absorbs whatever is required, then the system notifications would pop out.
However, today, for the first ti in a long while, Damon was actually able to sense sothing else, sothing deeper. He could feel strands of blood from the wolf-type creature he had consud seeping into his own blood.
He tried to focus on these strands, and imdiately he could feel such strands circulating all over his body. The blood he had consud had many such strands in it. It was probably so sort of condensed blood essence, an essence that might contain the crucial factor required for his upgrades.
His blood extraction skill was probably working overti to isolate these strands from the blood he consud. To test this, Damon took out another flask containing blood, but he did not consu it just yet. He simply sent his senses inside the flask to see if he could spot these strands.
Just as he suspected, he couldn't sense shit. His bloodline was definitely needed to kick-start things and start this strand isolation. But the good news was that once it did its job, he was now able to sense the small condensed special essence that contained the good stuff.
Damon was sweating intensely at this point. Didn't this an he could now try and separate this condensed essence and store it outside his body, or collect it in a special container and use it later, or maybe even give it to soone else?
Damon licked his lips in excitent. He couldn't reach out to Blood Reign to confirm this theory, but he was not too concerned about it at the mont. He could always talk to her after he got out of the trial. If he tried doing things his way right now, there was nothing to lose.
At most, he would waste a few stats, which was already happening. So he did not care. He quickly tried to gather the special strands from his body, stopping them from getting absorbed into his blood.
The first ti he tried it, it imdiately failed. Damon did not give up. He had never been this close to achieving this impossible feat. He was not going to give up now. He continued pushing forward while at the sa ti trying again and again to isolate these strands of power.
Ti silently ticked by. Fast. When Damon looked up to check the ti again, 5 hours had quietly passed by. Right now, he couldn't care too much about this, as he was in the middle of sothing else, and he was about to get back into it when he suddenly felt sothing else.
A golden light spilling all around him.
He made it. He had actually made it.
Damon was currently standing right next to a golden door. If he walked a few steps to the side, he could easily reach the door and open it. For a mont, Damon's heart raced. The golden splendor of the door called out to him. He was extrely tempted to reach for it and grab the handle, but he stopped himself.
This was still far too early to give up and grab a door. He knew he could go higher.
Damon continued to move forward, once again focusing on the strands of blood. But before he could take the next step, his danger instincts flared up, and he dodged to the side as fast as he could.
Thanks to the pressure all around him, this didn't help very much as he was slamd by a heavy attack smack dab in his back. What the fuck? He scread and turned around to see a familiar orange head standing on the other side of the door.
Damon then lifted his hand and saw that the golden sheen on his skin had actually disappeared. The rules of the ga had once again changed! It looked like now everyone could attack each other!
