Crowds across Earth Online’s forums and livestreams exploded the mont the announcents hit. The chat was a chaotic stream of disbelief, rage, admiration, and s. One man had held back a hundred. One man had beaten the system. And that man was now at the center of every conversation.
Just the sheer number of system-wide announcents made everyone’s heart ache. The third day of the ga’s launch was coming to an end, but sohow it felt surreal. Did all of this happen in only 3 days? Just what the hell was going on in this ga?
The single player Blood God was setting the pace of the whole ga, and he was playing as if he had doped himself full of steroids. The bastard was simply grabbing every single system announcent and every single special event.
Since the ga started, he had already participated in and won the rewards from two special events, one world boss and one dungeon record. What sort of absurdity was this?
The forums were lting. Strears were quitting mid-broadcast. Top guilds were arguing in public threads. Players were canceling their dungeon runs just to rewatch clips of the siege from every angle. All anyone could talk about was one na: Blood God.
Even veteran players who had dominated other gas were starting to question everything. So accused him of hacking, others of being a developer plant. But deep down, everyone knew the truth, they were just outplayed. Outpaced. Outclassed. Blood God wasn’t just ahead; he was defining the ta before it even existed.
Three days. That was all it took. Three days for one player to turn Earth Online into his personal playground. And for everyone else? It was a wake-up call. The age of casual grinding was over. Blood God had arrived, and he wasn’t playing the ga, they were all playing his ga.
As the barrier around the battlefield crumbled, Elias’ eyes shone with hatred as he turned towards Damon. "You are not getting away from , scum. Today, you will receive the divine judgent!"
All the players surrounding the siege event took a step back in alarm. It looked like the fight was still not over? Maybe Blood God was screwed after all!
"That asshole deserves this! I bet he bribed the NPC to kill all the Golden Lotus guild players!"
"Ba ha ha! There is justice in this world! Even after winning, this guy is going to be killed like a dog in the end!"
"Fuck ya! You bastards piss off. I call dibs on Blood God’s loot. That bitch definitely has so legendary item to fight like this!"
"Your mother! I am already waiting to grab the loot here. Who are you to call dibs now?"
"Bitches, DaddyBrutal is here. Golden Dragons have claid this loot. Anyone who cos in our path would be killed without rcy. Get out if you don’t want to get slaughtered."
Quickly, many groups started to cluster around the border, already planning to plunder the loot after Damon’s death. Seeing this, Damon could only laugh. "These idiots. Did they really think that the dark faction had no one except for ?"
When the light faction had NPCs, why wouldn’t the dark faction have similar NPCs?
Before Elias could attack him, a figure flew up from the old well. The next second, a blood red field spread in all directions. "Who dares to threaten my initiate?" Varnyx shot forward like a red blur and landed squarely in between Damon and Elias.
The mont Varnyx landed, the entire battlefield shook. The blood-red aura swirling around him pulsed like a heartbeat, oppressive and ancient. Even Elias, clad in divine light, took a asured step back, his sword lowering slightly as he assessed this new opponent.
"You have overstepped. This is no longer your battlefield, holy dog. Run back to your master and tell him that the blood clan has decided to take a stake in this city! This is not over!"
Before anyone could react, the next second, a blood spiral erupted. A huge blood spiral that completely covered even the Golden Knight. Everything happened in an instant. Surprisingly, the blood spiral appeared and disappeared just as fast.
When it disappeared, Damon, Varnyx, and the old well vanished together, leaving nothing behind. Only Elias was on the ground, bleeding and panting. Damon wanted to grab the blood of the golden knight quickly, but Varnyx had already teleported them.
When Damon opened his eyes again, he found himself standing in the middle of sothing rotten and disgusting. tallic pipes ran everywhere, and the air around them was stale and suffocating.
Damon blinked. They were in the underground sewers right below the Niera city?
"Hmph." Varnyx snorted coldly. "Prepare yourself, blood initiate. In a week’s ti, we will be assaulting the human city above. We will show the cattle their place in the power hierarchy."
"We will loot, plunder, and pillage the city, leaving behind nothing. Their n, won, and children will beco our blood slaves. Their coffers will beco our war fund. Their temples will burn, and their gods will weep. Their city shall fall and ours shall rise!"
Damon nodded. He had won the siege. He had survived the Golden Knight. But now, things were changing. It looked like the siege had triggered another set of events that weren’t supposed to happen for a long ti.
This was not that good for him. These faction war events were ripe with rewards and he needed more ti to prepare to win the damn thing. If the events in the ga changed so much, then his knowledge about the past would beco obsolete. He needed to play his cards carefully here.
If there was any chance he could postpone this...
While Damon was deep in thought, the ga shutdown notice appeared. There were only 5 minutes of ga ti left for the day. Of course, there was also the other huge announcent.
Just as the countdown of the ga shutdown began, a new system-wide announcent popped up.
