[Rewards:

10 LEVEL UP CARDS!
10 ABILITY UPGRADE CARDS!]
"Use one Ability Upgrade Card..."
White ordered, and in the next mont, snapping sounds rang out.
His rib bones, which had been broken beneath the claw marks on his chest, began to rapidly nd, the sa for the flesh which started knitting back together.
His severed shoulder also began snapping, bones rapidly regrowing along with muscles before ultimately being covered in flesh.
’Even in this new body, a Level Up Card still heals perfectly. It’s like a heavenly law of sorts...’
White mused beneath his breath, opening and closing his newly regenerated hand.
[Your control of the body has increased to 80%]
The system panel flashed right after.
’I guess fighting does help increase control.’
[More of intense physical activity.]
The system corrected, and he nodded once before turning to his wrist.
Tapping on it, the runic watch appeared, and White was able to check out the map, confirming his location.
Without a ship, it would be a long journey back ho, except...
VROOOOOOM!
The air behind his back shook as two massive wings appeared behind him.
Flapping them once, White soared twenty ters into the sky before becoming a pitch-black blur that raced into the distance.
The wings were sothing he had discovered on his way back to Xtrecyber, and he didn’t know how to control them fully yet.
Only that he could bring them out, use them as cover, and move with them.
The fact that they were almost steel-like and incredibly sharp also revealed to him that they were ans of combat.
Those were the two things he could properly use them for at first.
But his fight with the Berserkers and the Primordial Wolf Emissary had given him better control, and this ti, he was able to use them to improve his speed.
There were many Supernaturals on the ground as White sped back.
He noticed not many of them had adopted technology.
There were fortresses and living spaces carved by beasts, but mostly, instead of tech, they used runes.
And White could almost say runes were better than technology.
The runes on the Alpha Lair prevented anyone from entering unless they had the power to unleash a black hole.
That was better than any technological door you could find in the Human Realm.
Besides, the other uses of runes, like creating a simulation, and the fact that the Emissary was able to speak directly into his mind when the milky white rune appeared on his head, made White all the more curious that they held a greater power than he perceived them to.
"I’ll try to learn more about runes... when I get back to Xtrecyber."
He vowed in his mind.
A couple more hours of flying and he finally arrived before the glowing barrier.
He unconsciously ca to a pause ters away, his hands reaching for the surface.
CRAAACKLE!
The sound of crackling electricity filled the world for a second as White yanked his hands back, electricity crackling around him only to be snuffed out.
"So the barrier stings, huh?"
White voiced aloud.
"Only for non-humans."
The reply ca after, and a gleam crossed through his eyes as he noticed a gigantic mothership approaching.
At first, he thought it was Commander Volcan, but then he noticed there were two more ships the size of Commander Volcan’s ship hanging just beneath the mothership, making a total of three.
Standing at the mouth of the larger mothership was a woman.
A woman dressed in a furry golden coat, eye-catching golden earrings, and even a golden nose piercing.
Her attire was the colour of gold, with minerals decorating most of what she wore.
One word:
Wealth.
She reeked of wealth.
White looked behind her and noticed there were two n standing respectfully behind her.
Shockingly enough, the man on the right was none other than Commander Zoltan, who wore a neutral formal expression on his face as he stood quietly with both hands behind him.
"A Supre Commander?"
White asked as the lady paused.
"That’s so sharp observation."
She complinted.
"Also, congratulations on your successful mission. I’ve just finished going through the recordings you made on the runes upon Alpha Lair."
She said.
"Did I do sothing wrong?"
White asked, and she paused.
"And what made you think that?"
"Because I’m standing behind the barrier that separates Supernatural from Humanity with three Motherjets, led by two Commanders of the Humanity Ascension Powerhouse, along with a Supre Commander herself."
"Sothing tells you’re not just here for congratulations on a simple exploration mission."
White mused with creased eyebrows.
He had sensed the change based on Commander Zoltan’s unfriendly aura, and that had been enough to give him a clue that sothing was wrong.
"I don’t like getting too straight to the point. It’s boring..."
The woman said, clicking her long fingers.
"But if it’s what you want, I’ll oblige."
She said, and in the next mont snapped her fingers.
Commander Zoltan stepped forward, a scroll appearing in his hands which he passed to the woman on one knee.
"There are new requirents for you to exist in the Human Realm."
She began as White froze.
"First, your existence has blurred the lines between Humanity and Supernatural. There are a lot of disruptions quoted here, but I don’t want to waste ti reading them."
"The fact that you’re standing there unable to enter the barrier that even a human infant should have been able to step right into is enough."
She said.
"So, to be allowed in, we have four requirents, the first of which is for you to sign a Life-Binding Contract... with ."
She made clear with a wicked smile.
"So, in essence, you want to be your slave."
White asked.
A Life-Binding Oath was a promise that people must not break or it would lead to negative consequences on the traitor.
It was harsh, but not truly life-threatening or dignity-erasing.
A Life-Binding Contract, on the other hand, was a clear slave lock that one person declared on another for a set duration of ti.
And in that ti, the contractor’s order could not be refused, no matter how ridiculous they were.
Even if you were asked to eat shit, you would, or the consequences would be devastating.
In short...
She wanted him to be her slave.
