"I’m afraid you won’t be getting that..."

This ti, it was a female, and White recognized her.

She was the dumb Supre Commander who had tried to make him her slave.

"I hope your neck is healing well."

He replied with a grin, watching her face turn red with anger.

"You bastard!"

She roared out, but then.

BANG!

A hamr slamd into the table, sending forth a wave of energy that instantly dispelled the heavy mood in the room.

"You’re didn’t co here to cause more trouble, did you, White?"

A Supre Commander asked, and White shrugged.

"I’m not."

"Good. Now, let’s talk about the old troubles you’ve caused."

He added, and White sighed.

"Tell about it."

"Firstly, we made it clear during our apology that three requests would be granted to you, but only on the condition that they caused no harm to human life."

"Your first request, which was to return to Xtrecyber, ended with you getting rid of not just one... but two students with S-Ranked Awakenings."

"That was already a violation of the conditions, but still, we decided to overlook it, due to the circumstance that led to such a decision on your part, and granted you a second wish, to join the United Earth Federation, which ended with the deaths of eight third-year students."

"That is a total of ten human lives lost because we fulfilled your requests."

"You would agree that you’ve greatly misused our kindness, wouldn’t you, White Sinclaw?"

The lean, blue-haired Commander with spectacles said to him, and White raised a finger.

"Actually, those killings in Xtrecyber aren’t really ’killings,’ so to speak. I might be a little ssed up in the head, but... I’m not psycho enough to kill so, what, nineteen or twenty-year-old kids?"

"So no, that wasn’t murder. That was absolutely necessary self-defense."

He said.

"As for the killings in the UEF... let’s just call it a necessary evil that only I can understand."

He added.

"Still, you would admit you took advantage of our kindness, wouldn’t you?"

A muscular, red-haired Commander asked, and White raised a finger before eventually lowering it again.

"Yes. I do."

"Why did you kill those United Earth Federation students, anyway?"

A female Supre Commander suddenly asked.

"We requested your footage of killing those two S-Ranked Awakening students from Xtrecyber, and judging from it, so of us did agree that, under certain conditions, it could pass as self-defense."

"There was at least so sense behind the killings."

"But the UEF killings make absolutely no sense."

"...to you."

White completed for her.

"And I won’t explain it to you, because no matter how hard I try, you would never believe or understand."

He added.

"Actually, we might."

The lead Supre Commander, seated at the far end of the table, said.

In the next mont, he tapped the space before him, and instantly, light projected into the air.

It showed familiar footage.

The footage of him, White, and Draugr, especially the mont when White was calling out the nas of his combat squad.

"According to our research, we discovered that the nas you called out are actually nas of students who still exist in the UEF. All of them are first-year recruits."

"Maybe I learned them during my five-hour stay before that mont..."

White said with a shrug.

"Also, you ntioned this Draugr destroying the Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Bases."

He continued.

"We looked further into this and realized sothing:

"The Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Base Units you ntioned are part of a discreet, unrevealed plan of the UEF that is only ant to be implented exactly seven years from now."

"It’s a high-profile secret that should have been impossible for you to obtain within just, as you said, five hours of arriving at the UEF before that incident."

The lead Commander said, and White froze.

Now that was a difficult point to defend against.

"All of this led us to only one conclusion that could make your killing of Draugr and those students make any sense..."

The blue-haired Commander took over.

"And that is the possibility that..."

"White Sinclaw, you’re a regressor?"

He said, though it sounded more like a question.

In response, White’s face suddenly took on a dignified expression as he dramatically placed a hand over his chest.

"I’m a Prophet from the future, sent by the Goddess of Life to illuminate your devil-forsaken souls..."

He declared, chuckling slightly before turning to the Supre Commanders, who didn’t look impressed in the slightest.

"You don’t believe that, do you?"

"I personally don’t."

A female Supre Commander said before continuing,

"Regression, even now, remains a mythical concept."

"We’ve spoken to our best Ti Awakener."

"She’s one of the top ten strongest Awakeners on Earth right now, if I may add, and even she stated that to beco capable of fully regressing a human being by even a single year would require another five hundred years of continuous growth just for her to have a one percent chance of pulling it off."

The blue-haired Supre Commander with spectacles added.

"So no, it shouldn’t be possible at all."

"But... it’s still the conclusion that makes the most sense based on everything we’ve deduced."

He said.

Silence remained for five seconds before another voice cut through.

"You’re a regressor, aren’t you, White?"

The lead Supre Commander asked.

Sohow, while everyone else was dressed in golden robes, he alone wore full dark robes, his expression hidden behind a veil of shadows that prevented White from seeing his face.

"You don’t seem particularly surprised at being called a regressor."

He added.

"So what if I am? Want to tell you the next Powerball numbers? Or ask you to go buy the next trending crypto coin?"

White replied with an eye roll.

"That actually wouldn’t be a bad use of regression powers."

A brown-haired Commander said with an evil chuckle, rubbing his hands together greedily.

"That’s a sha, because I was a UEF soldier. Combat Squad Captain, to be exact."

White said.

"All I saw, and can rember, was the battlefield and UEF buildings, so unless you want to tell you what bullets will look like in the coming years, then I’m sorry,"
