Now reading: Chapter 22: Xcyber Rules from SSS Awakening: Starting With Infinite Soul Copy, a Fantasy novel by MPrincelygance.

The Xcyberrules application had a rigid, box-shaped interface, and in total, there were about a dozen rules listed.

White skimd over them, though a few were so absurd that he sat up straight, brows knitted in focus.

One of them was the first rule, which stated:

Rule 1: Cyberpoints Are Life

"Life?"

Cyberpoints determine privilege.

als, special training facility, and healing pods must be purchased using Cyberpoints.

If your Cyberpoints run out, you lose access to them.

Note: Every newcor receives a range of 100 to 500 Cyberpoints based on their entrance test point number, with 1,000 points equaling 100 Cyberpoints, and an extra 100 points equaling 50 extra Cyberpoints.

It reads, and White quickly calculated.

’I got a point of 1,300/1,000 on the entrance point. So, with 1,000 giving 100 points, and having an extra 300 points.’

’I have a total of 250 Cyberpoints.’

Scrolling down, there was an emboldened note.

CAUTION: Other newcors may take your Cyberpoints from you.

"Quite interesting," White muttered, amusedly.

If the academy wanted students to be responsible for their own als and to access special training facilities, that was understandable.

But denying access to healing pods for injuries that are most likely sustained during the academy’s own training?

But what was really amusing was that emboldened note.

With the academy itself saying your points may be taken away from you.

They implied one thing: Bullying is a thing.

That was the only way one person would be willing to give their life to another, and with the academy ordaining it, it kind of shows they were not against and maybe even supporting it.

’Probably to induce forced growth in the student.’

’No one would want their points taken, so they’ll be forced to take classes more seriously and grow stronger, even if they don’t want to.’

He mused quietly as he continued reading, soon coming across another rule that made his eyebrow rise.

Rule 3: Forbidden Grounds: Upper Divisions

The XtreCyber Academy is divided into three sectors.

The first sector houses newcors, the second is for second-year students, and the third is reserved for third years.

Newcors are strictly forbidden from entering the second and third sectors.

Unauthorized entry could result in the confiscation of the student’s Cyberpoints by the academy.

If caught by a second-year or third-year student, the offending student may also be disciplined by them for trespassing.

Note: Cyberpoints deduction by the Academy is automatic.

Getting your ass kicked by seniors doesn’t exempt you from the penalty; it just ans you received an additional lesson.

"Hehe."

The note made White chuckle instead.

Imagine getting lost, and instead of soone pointing you in the right direction, your Cyberpoints get deducted instead, and on top of that, you’re beaten up by senior students.

’I should probably go through the map and mark out the first-year areas properly.’

But reading on, he discovered that wasn’t the only way Cyberpoints can be lost.

There was even a legal way of doing so, and it was in Rule 5.

Rule 5: The Challenge System

Students may issue duels.

Winning grants 30% of the opponent’s total Cyberpoints, while losing costs half of your own.

Note: Newcors are protected by a No-Challenge period lasting one week, so this rule is only effective starting 7 days from now.

Important Note: All duels sent to you must be accepted, but you may refuse a duel from soone who has challenged you twice and whom you have defeated.

You can also refuse a duel automatically after getting challenged 4 tis in a week.

CAUTION: Duels require instructor approval.

This costs 50 Cyberpoints, to be paid by the challenger.

’So, students can obtain points legally by challenging each other, huh?’

’Interesting, though I do see this easily becoming a way for a group of students to make another student legally lose all his points and make his life harder.’

White thought quietly.

It didn’t take much thinking to see there were loopholes in this rule.

If a group of students wants to dry up another weak student.

They could just keep challenging him, and each ti they won, they would seize 30% of the points.

The poor boy would have had no choice but to accept it at least four tis a week.

That was enough ti to milk even 250 points dry.

’It could be used for legal bullying.’

White mused but shrugged it off, eventually.

If he ever got into such a situation, he would just beat one of the students half to death and use him as a lesson to others.

CAUTION: Every student’s Cyberpoints total is publicly displayed on the Cyberpoints Ranking, visible to the entire student body.

’So secretly stacking points away isn’t a thing. Everyone will know if you have a lot of points.’

Thankfully, that was the last of the absurd rules.

With the rules done, he went straight to the Cyberpoints ranking.

This was because of one thing:

White had 250 Cyberpoints because he had 1,300 points in the entrance test.

Anyone who had higher Cyberpoints than him could only an they must have gotten even higher points than him in the entrance test, which was insane because he had truly gone all out in that entrance test.

Even beyond all out.

Was there a student who could even surpass his absolute limits?

With curiosity, he quickly ca across the ranking, and what he saw made his heart skyrocket.

He found his na...but not where he expected it to be.

{Na: White Sinclaw.}

{Points: 250}

{Your ranking position is
