As pleased as Mika was with how things were progressing, he couldn’t show it. Not yet.
Instead, his expression changed to one of embarrassnt—genuine-looking, boyish, almost ashad. He snatched the phone from her hands, his movents quick and flustered.
"I-I’m so sorry, Nadia!" He tucked the phone away, not eting her eyes. "I never ant to show you sothing like that. Please...just forget it!"
Nadia blinked, montarily startled by his reaction.
Then her hand shot out, firmly grabbing his wrist before he could pocket the phone.
"No, wait!" She said, her voice soft but insistent. "I-I want to know more. I want to know about that photo...and about what it ans."
"It’s all right, Nadia." Mika said, still maintaining his embarrassed act. "It’s nothing at all. Just a small thing from my past. Nothing for you to worry about."
But Nadia shook her head, refusing to let go. She held his hand tighter, leaning in closer until her forehead nearly touched his.
Her eyes were wide, shimring with a mix of curiosity, vulnerability, and sothing deeper—sothing she herself didn’t fully understand yet.
"Please, Mika." She whispered, voice trembling just slightly. "It’s been so long since we’ve really talked like this. I want to know what’s been going on in your life. What you’ve been up to all these years."
"I an, you’ve grown up to be such a fine young gentleman, and I’m incredibly proud of that—there’s no doubt about it."
She paused, her expression turning wistful.
"But at the sa ti...you’ve started looking really unfamiliar to . You’re doing things I don’t know about, making friends with people I’ve never t."
A small, sad smile appeared on her lips.
"At one point in your life, I knew all of your friends. I had all their contact information stored in my phone so I could call their parents to check where you were and what you were doing. You would invite them to our ho, and I’d et them all."
She thought about the past, when Mika had been an adorable little child.
Then she looked at him now—this handso, mature young man sitting before her.
"But now." She said quietly. "I don’t have that anymore. And I...I want to know more about you."
She leaned closer to him.
"So please, tell more. I won’t judge you or anything. I just want to understand this part of your life."
Nadia was actually surprised by her own words.
Normally, she was soone who deeply respected privacy, especially within her family.
Unlike Yelena—who was extrely protective and always wanted to know where Mika was—Nadia had always been the opposite.
She was soone who believed in Mika completely.
She trusted him entirely, trusted in his abilities, knew he wouldn’t do anything harmful and would only make her proud.
So she’d always let him go, let him explore and grow independently. She’d never bothered him with constant questions.
Whenever he wanted to talk, she would listen. If he didn’t want to discuss sothing, she would respect that boundary.
That had always been their relationship.
But of course, deep inside, she had always been curious about what was happening in his life. She’d just never voiced it before.
So what she was doing right now—actively pushing to know more was genuinely surprising, even to herself.
But it also made sense.
She really was curious about this new side of Mika, especially since the way he’d been acting with her recently had been sowhat more intimate and different than before.
She thought that if she could understand more about Mika from a different perspective—not just as the child she’d raised, but as the man he’d beco—she might be able to make sense of these changes.
So she was genuinely eager to know the answer.
Looking at the hopeful expression in her eyes, Mika struggled visibly on the outside, as if he didn’t know what to do.
But on the inside, he was utterly satisfied.
Nadia was acting exactly as he’d hoped she would.
And now that she was in this position, it was ti to use his acting skills to the maximum.
He finally let out a deep sigh and looked at her with hesitation in his eyes.
"Are you really sure you want to know more about this?" He asked carefully. "This is sothing you’re completely unfamiliar with. You might...You might look at differently after knowing about it."
But Nadia imdiately shook her head firmly.
"That will never happen, Mika." She said with conviction. "No matter what you show , no matter how different it may be from the Mika I know—I won’t look at you any differently."
She looked at him with a solemn gaze.
"At the end of the day, you’re my son. And nothing will ever change that."
’We’ll see about that.’ Mika thought to himself with dark satisfaction.
But of course, he didn’t say that aloud.
"Fine." He said, as if giving in reluctantly. "If you’re insisting so much, I’ll show you."
Nadia’s eyes imdiately lit up with anticipation.
"But." Mika added quickly, his tone becoming more serious. "You’re not allowed to share this with anyone else or show this to anyone. And now that I’m letting you into this side of my life, you can’t try to back out halfway through."
"...Understand?"
Nadia nodded eagerly, like an enthusiastic puppy waiting for a treat.
She was looking at the phone in genuine anticipation, clearly very eager to learn about this hidden aspect of his life.
Mika thought she looked absolutely adorable right now—he just wanted to kiss her and hold her close.
But he knew this wasn’t the right mont yet.
So he cleared his throat and looked at her with a slightly awkward expression.
"Well, the truth is..." He began, while Nadia listened with rapt attention. "...while I was attending those parties and gatherings, I got close to many different people there."
He paused.
"And one of the people I beca closest to in the Anti-Kwan Alliance was the daughter of Ragor—the official we were dealing with earlier."
He couldn’t help but look at Ragor with an apologetic, almost pitiful expression, as if genuinely sorry for what he was about to reveal about his daughter.
"I hit it off with her quite well." He continued. "And as you know, your son is quite a charming individual. Won, no matter what race they are, seem to find ...attractive."
Nadia didn’t even try to deny this—she knew it was absolutely true. In fact, she felt a surge of pride seeing how her son was admired by won.
Mika then looked away in a slightly guilty manner.
"But at the sa ti." He said. "Perhaps I was a bit too charming. Because at one point, she invited to her ho, saying she wanted to show sothing interesting she’d been working on."
He sighed.
"Naturally, I believed her. So I went to her room—straight to her bedroom, actually. She told to close my eyes, and I did."
He paused for dramatic effect.
"And when I finally opened my eyes, I didn’t see so new political strategy she was developing for her party, or so kind of organizational sche she wanted my input on."
Another sigh, this one sounding regretful.
"Instead, I saw her completely naked on the bed, in a very...seductive pose that left absolutely nothing to the imagination."
Nadia gasped in genuine surprise.
"Really?!" She said, her eyes widening. "She just revealed herself like that? So directly?"
"Of course, Nadia." Mika said, sounding almost offended. "Do you think your son would lie about sothing like this?"
The funny thing was, he actually wasn’t lying at all.
Ragor’s daughter really had made no attempt at subtlety. She’d literally dragged him into her room with clear seductive intent.
Mika hadn’t even been trying to pursue her romantically—he’d simply been there to socialize and have fun.
But she’d thrown herself at him with zero hesitation.
"No, Mika. It’s not like that. I definitely think you have the looks and charm for sothing like that to happen."
Nadia said quickly before having a thoughtful gaze.
"But it’s still so surprising to hear that a girl like her would be so forward."
She frowned slightly in thought.
"I’ve t her briefly on a few occasions. She always seed extrely polite and refined, with an elegant bearing about her."
But Mika simply scoffed at this assessnt.
"That’s just the act she puts on." He explained. "That’s the persona her father wants everyone to see. The obedient, refined daughter who fits perfectly into his political image."
He shook his head.
"It’s exactly because she’s been forced to maintain that act her entire life that she desperately needs a way to express her true self."
"The only place she could do that was by joining the Alliance. That’s where she truly felt alive, where she could be who she really was."
Nadia thought about this and realized it made sense.
She had noticed sothing in the girl’s eyes during their brief eting—a hint of mischief or rebellion that she hadn’t quite been able to identify at the ti.
But then Mika’s expression changed to sothing almost devilish.
"She was definitely a wild party animal when she was with her true friends in the Alliance..."
He said slowly before adding,
"...But she was a completely different person under the sheets as well."
Nadia’s head jerked up as she realized what he was implying.
Mika looked at her with a knowing expression.
"You should’ve seen her, Nadia. She was honestly quite a lewd little lizard—literally begging to stuff her full and fill her up all the ti."
Nadia’s face heated up. She tried to remain composed, but the coarse, vivid words coming from Mika’s mouth left her flustered in a way she had never experienced before.
Mika noticed imdiately and he leaned back, a nostalgic look crossing his face.
"She begged, Nadia. Literally begged to fill her up. Every ti, every night. The way she moaned—" He chuckled. "You wouldn’t believe it. Lizards don’t sound like you’d expect. Her voice would get all high and shaky, this weird little whine that was completely bizarre."
"But hearing it over and over...I couldn’t resist. I devoured her."
He smiled, almost fondly.
"By the ti I was done with her, even her scales had gone soft. The hardest scales on her body—the ones that usually protect her—were completely loose just from how hard she was taking ."
Nadia sat frozen.
Her face was carefully blank—the mask she had perfected over decades—but inside, she was reeling.
Mika had never spoken to her like this. Had never used such crude, explicit language.
Of course, she had always known he was experienced—she wasn’t naive.
But hearing it described so vividly, so casually, was sothing else entirely.
And at the sa ti, she couldn’t say anything to stop him, because this was exactly what she’d asked for—she’d wanted to know about this part of his life, and he was explaining it to her right now.
So she could only bla her own inexperience and innocence when it ca to these matters.
But even though Nadia was attempting to appear completely calm and composed, Mika could tell she was feeling sothing powerful inside.
The way she was unconsciously shifting her weight on his lap, the way her breathing had beco slightly heavier and warr against him—all signs that his words were affecting her exactly as intended.
He knew he needed to escalate this even further.
So, as if suddenly rembering sothing, he said casually,
"Actually, I even have more photos from that encounter. I could show them to you as well, if you want to see just how...enthusiastic she was."
Then he looked at her with narrowed eyes, his expression becoming more serious.
"But of course, they’re quite explicit. Honestly much more intense and graphic than the photo you just saw...So you can refuse if you want."
He paused, as if offering her a tempting deal that could change everything between them.
Nadia hesitated.
Part of her wanted to say no. Wanted to stop this before it went any further.
She was already overwheld—her face hot, her thoughts scattered, her body reacting in ways she didn’t fully understand.
But another part of her, a part she had never acknowledged, never given voice to scread yes. Scread to see more. To understand.
To know every secret he had ever hidden.
She thought about the way he had touched her earlier. The way his hands had felt on her body.
The way he looked at her now, like she was sothing precious, sothing worth pursuing and wanted to know more about that.
Finally, she swallowed hard and nodded her head in a tense, uncertain gesture.
"Go ahead, Mika."
She said quietly, her voice slightly strained.
"Show all the photos you have."
